"Now, it's time to end this," Ryuuto thought, glancing back. Hatchan was already slacking off by the tower, and Arlong had submerged, stealthily circling behind him.
Pretending to be unaware, Ryuuto deliberately turned his back to Arlong, offering a clear opening.
"Die!" Arlong roared, seeing his chance. He gritted his teeth and prepared to charge, his sharp, saw-like nose now a menacing dark blue, looking like a deadly weapon beneath the water.
"Now!" Arlong lunged at Ryuuto's back, his speed like that of a great shark hunting its prey.
"Heh heh heh..." Sensing the attack from behind, Ryuuto couldn't help but chuckle.
[Shave]
Just as Arlong was about to crash into him, Ryuuto vanished in a flash. He reappeared instantly, hovering directly above Arlong's head.
"Arlong, did you ever imagine this day would come?" Ryuuto's expression was grim as he shouted down at the fish-man.
As he spoke, his right leg was already charged with power. The moment his words ended, a Tempest Kick sliced down toward Arlong like the reaper's scythe.
"No! Spare me! I'll give you everything!" Hearing Ryuuto and seeing the incoming attack, Arlong panicked and began to beg for his life.
But Ryuuto was unmoved.
The vacuum blade struck Arlong's back in an instant.
CRACK!
With a loud crash, Arlong was slammed to the ground by the force of the Tempest Kick, a wound so deep it exposed bone gashed across his back. The arrogant fish-man from moments ago was gone, replaced by a broken creature bleeding profusely onto the ground.
"Spare me! I'll give you everything I have!" Watching Ryuuto approach, Arlong ignored his wounds and dropped to his knees, continuing to plead.
"Hahahahaha, how pathetic!"
"Do you remember the villagers who knelt before you, begging for their lives?"
"You should have known back then that this day would come for you!"
"I promised my navigator I would end this for her."
Ryuuto's expression was cold and emotionless. He spoke with an icy tone as he walked toward Arlong, slowly shattering the fish-man's will with every step.
"Go to hell!" Suddenly, a ferocious look twisted Arlong's face. His right hand transformed into a sharp weapon as he lunged at Ryuuto in a last-ditch effort, clearly having no intention of being taken down without a fight.
[Shave]... [Finger Pistol]...
Ryuuto sneered. He activated his techniques in a blur, flashing to Arlong's side and thrusting his right hand straight through the fish-man's head.
Squelch.
Blood sprayed through the air.
Arlong was dead.
"Captain!" Hatchan, Kuroobi, Chew, and Black Belt cried out in grief.
"Moo~" Momoo, startled by the sight, froze in place, now more terrified than ever.
Almost forgot about you lot.
In another flash, Ryuuto reappeared at the base of the tower. Looking at the heavily wounded Kuroobi, Chew, and Black Belt lying on the ground, Ryuuto finished them off without hesitation, striking each in the head with a few swift Finger Pistols.
Splat, splat, splat.
More blood splattered across the tower.
Sunlight bathed the scene of carnage. What was once the lively Arlong Park was now silent, leaving only Ryuuto, Hatchan, and Momoo. A gentle breeze stirred Ryuuto's blood-flecked hair and shirt. Bathed in the golden light, he looked both brilliant and divine.
He turned to Hatchan. "Hatchan, I'll give you a chance to live. Leave now."
Ryuuto had his principles. He intended to spare Hatchan, who hadn't spilled human blood. But it was clear Hatchan had other ideas.
"Hyohyohyoh! Take this!" Hatchan shook his head and charged at Ryuuto, brandishing his six swords.
"I didn't want to do this, Hatchan... Tempest Kick!" Ryuuto sidestepped, appearing behind the octopus fish-man. He sent Hatchan flying with a powerful blow, then followed up with a vacuum blade from a high kick while his opponent was still airborne.
BOOM!
The already injured Hatchan was no match for the attack and was slammed deep into the water below.
"Heh, what a shame," Ryuuto said with a satisfied smile, hoping the wounded Hatchan would stay put at the bottom of the pool. Now, he had to take the entire Arlong Pirates crew to comfort his dear navigator.
Oh, right. And Momoo.
Dragging the bodies of Kuroobi, Chew, and Black Belt, Ryuuto approached Momoo. He then effortlessly picked up Arlong's corpse and gestured to the sea cow.
"Stand up."
"Moo~" Momoo cried out in understanding and quickly rose, terrified of angering the killer.
Swoosh!
With the four bodies in hand, Ryuuto pushed off with his feet and leaped onto Momoo's head.
"Let's go!" Ryuuto patted Momoo's head, signaling him to move.
"Moo-moo~" Receiving the command, Momoo carefully submerged his body, leaving only his large head above the surface, and began to speed through the water. Ryuuto planned to ride his new mode of transport to see Nami, the bodies in his hands a gift for her.
Under Ryuuto's direction, Momoo sped along the island's coastline, heading toward the house where Nami lived.
...
"Usopp, what's that? A sea cow?" At that moment, Monkey D. Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Usopp were also heading toward Nami's house. After finishing their meal, they had asked the Cocoyasi villagers for directions.
And so, they ran right into Ryuuto. He was on the water, while they were walking on the road.
"So cool!" Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Usopp exclaimed in shock.
The man on the sea was standing steadily atop the giant sea cow, looking like an unparalleled sword cutting through the wind. It was an incredibly cool sight.
"Hey! Is that your pet?" Luffy shouted, his usual friendly self. He stretched his rubber arms, using the trees to slingshot himself toward Ryuuto.
Isn't this our very own Monkey D. Luffy?
Ryuuto's attention was drawn by the commotion, primarily from Luffy, and he spotted the group of four.
"Moo-moo." Ryuuto gently tapped Momoo with his foot.
The sea cow instantly understood and slowed down.
Whoosh!
With a gust of wind, Monkey D. Luffy landed squarely on Momoo's head.
"Hi! I'm Luffy, the man who's gonna be King of the Pirates! Is this your pet? It's so cool!" Luffy flashed a huge grin at Ryuuto.
"Our captain is really something else," the others muttered from the shore, speechless at Luffy's antics.
"Hahahahaha, nice to meet you. I'm Ryuuto, and this is Momoo."
It was Ryuuto's first time hearing Luffy's iconic declaration up close, and he found it genuinely amusing.
