Chapter 114 - Chapter 115: You Are Not an Alien

"Smoke Screen!"

Casting the Smoke Screen spell again in the Crescent Moon state, a thick fog instantly rose over the entire New York City.

"Sure enough, the power of magic has increased again."

After the experiment, Adam's soul returned to his body.

He felt that if he had cast a Fire spell in that state just now, the effect would probably not be worse than Dumbledore's Fiendfyre.

His magic level was definitely miles behind top Wizards like Dumbledore and Grindelwald, but his soul was too strong in the Mugetsu.

So strong that even with his current magic level, the magic he cast was no less effective than Dumbledore's and Grindelwald's.

Of course, this only referred to the excellent effect that could be achieved after loading the Kurosaki Ichigo template and fusing with the Zanpakuto's final Mugetsu.

However, even if the protagonist's template faded, with those memories and Kurosaki Ichigo's Bloodline, he estimated he could quickly reach the level of the protagonist's template through his own practice.

After all, it didn't take Kurosaki Ichigo several months from becoming a Shinigami to defeating Aizen.

An hour later, the Kurosaki Ichigo template receded, and Adam's soul left his body again. This time, he was in his normal Shinigami form, and his Zanpakuto was also its most primitive form.

"It seems I'll have to seriously study Fullbring in the future."

Returning to his physical body, Adam's figure flickered, and he had already left the building.

The Shinigami form is invisible to ordinary people, but battles can only use Shinigami-type powers and magic. If he could master Fullbring, he could combine it with his physical body for combat.

Only then could he unleash his strongest combat power.

As for how to train Fullbring, the power itself was already within his body. If he went back and thought more about the Shinigami plot from his previous life, he should be able to gradually figure it out.

The next day, Adam sent out several Shadow Clones early in the morning to handle company affairs on his behalf.

After the battle last night, League of Heroes definitely exploded. Taking advantage of this wave of popularity, they definitely had to seize the time to expand, accept interviews, and so on.

Specific matters were handled by the company's public relations department, but as the Superheroes' role model, the Saiyan Superman who defeated Apocalypse and saved the World, he certainly had to be present.

But he was unwilling to waste this precious time, used for improving his strength and spending with his family, on these matters.

So he sent Shadow Clones to deal with everything.

He understood very clearly that no matter how big the company became, his strength was the most important. If his strength wasn't strong enough, he couldn't control those Superheroes, nor could he deal with suppression from high-ranking government officials.

So on this first day after the war, he spent most of his time with his family and adapting to the power brought by Kurosaki Ichigo based on his memories.

And as evening approached, an expected person appeared at his doorstep.

"Oh my, isn't this Director Fury? Why aren't you dealing with the terrorist attacks caused by HYDRA, and instead came to my place?"

Opening the door and seeing Nick Fury's dark face, Adam greeted him with a hint of sarcasm in his tone.

Nick Fury's thick skin, however, was clearly the kind that wouldn't even show a mark after three stabs. He showed no embarrassment like Black Captain Marvel before, but instead had a calm expression.

"What happened last night was indeed a mistake on my part, so I'm here this time to give you important intelligence, hoping to make some amends."

"Amends?"

Adam raised an eyebrow, and some conjectures immediately formed in his mind.

He nodded:

"Alright, then let's talk slowly in your car."

The two once again sat in S.H.I.E.L.D. Director's custom black van.

Without any preamble, Nick Fury stated directly:

"All members of the Security Council have been demanding that you sign an agreement and accept their supervision.

Otherwise, they will use your alien identity to hinder the development of your company and use various means to deal with you."

"I don't understand this, Director Fury. You should be on the Security Council's side, so why would you tell me such important intelligence in advance?

Or are you their representative, here to persuade me to sign that so-called supervision agreement?"

Adam smiled, seemingly not at all angry about this intelligence.

Nick Fury, however, spread his hands:

"They sent me to get you to sign the agreement, but I don't agree with their views, nor do I think you should sign this agreement."

"That's unusual. Can Director Fury tell me why?"

Adam asked calmly.

Nick Fury looked into Adam's eyes:

"If I'm not mistaken, Mr. Adam, you shouldn't be an alien, right!"

Hearing Nick Fury's very certain tone, Adam's face first showed a hint of doubt, then he relaxed.

He suddenly remembered that Nick Fury knew many Skrulls, and the Skrulls were once a super cosmic civilization not inferior to the Kree.

Such a civilization must have very complete records of cosmic races.

The key was that the Saiyan strength Adam displayed was so powerful; he couldn't be some obscure minor race.

So, it was understandable that Nick Fury could guess.

Even if he didn't know the Skrulls, just the story Adam fabricated, which was very similar to Superman's experience, would likely make it difficult for the suspicious Nick Fury to believe.

It was probably only the general public who would truly believe that Adam was a Saiyan Superman from Planet Vegeta.

"Does it still matter? Director Fury, just speak your mind."

Adam stopped beating around the bush and went straight to the point.

Nick Fury was also very straightforward:

"Mr. Adam, I know what you want to do. I am willing to cooperate with you and provide you with information about those people, so that you and your League of Heroes can develop better and protect Earth better in the future."

Hearing Nick Fury's words, Adam narrowed his eyes, his brain spinning rapidly.

Finally, he suddenly laughed:

"Sure enough, it's still that saying: in this World, there are no eternal enemies, only eternal interests.

Okay, since Director Fury is so willing to help, I won't be polite."

He originally thought that even if Nick Fury knew he was no match for him, to appease the Security Council, he would bring Black Captain Marvel to test him.

And he was also prepared to decide whether to directly eliminate Nick Fury and Black Captain Marvel, and then take advantage of the alien bait to uncover more human high-ranking officials who were hostile to him and eliminate them all.

But he didn't expect Nick Fury to be so decisive, even willing to actively cooperate with him to eliminate those high-ranking human officials who were preparing to deal with him.

This made him reluctant to act against him anymore.

After all, it was indeed not easy to kill Black Captain Marvel, and if Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. were destroyed, HYDRA would have no one to restrain them.

Moreover, identifying those high-ranking human officials who were targeting him one by one was not an easy task.
