Stardust
Stardust is the primordial energy that exists within every living being.
It is the source of all supernatural abilities, flowing through the body like an sparkling current that can be cultivated through training and experience. A person's Stardust Percentage represents the maximum amount of Stardust their body can safely produce, control, and release.
Contrary to popular belief, Stardust does not directly enhance the body or mind. It is the energy that fuels a Gifter's unique ability. A person's physical and mental capacity determine how much Stardust they can safely wield, making the body the vessel through which Stardust is expressed.
Those capable of wielding Stardust are known as Gifters, while those born without the capacity to awaken it are known as Non-Gifters. Although Non-Gifters can never manifest abilities, they are still capable of achieving extraordinary physical prowess through relentless training.
For centuries, Gifters have classified Stardust into five stages based on the percentage a person can wield.
0–24% — Non-Gifters
"Power exists... but never awakens."
Individuals within this range possess Stardust but lack the capacity to wield it.
Their Stardust remains permanently dormant and cannot be increased.
Although incapable of manifesting abilities, Non-Gifters can develop their bodies to superhuman levels through discipline and training alone.
25–40% — Dormant Gifters
"The first spark of power."
At this stage, a Gifter can consciously release Stardust but has yet to awaken a unique ability.
They can reinforce/coat their attacks with Stardust, increasing the force behind each strike, though it does not directly enhance their physical strength.
(Most Gifters fall under this range).
40–55% — Awakened Gifters
"Where abilities are born."
Upon reaching forty percent, a Gifter gains enough Stardust to manifest their unique supernatural ability.
From this point onward, mastery depends not only on the amount of Stardust one possesses, but on how effectively it is wielded.
55–70% — Elite Gifters
"The few who stand above the many."
Gifters in this range possess exceptional Stardust reserves, refined control, and abilities capable of overwhelming most opponents.
A Stardust percentage of 60% or higher is widely recognized as the benchmark of an elite Gifter.
70–85% — Dominant Class
"Power capable of changing history."
This is the realm of the world's greatest warriors.
A Stardust percentage of 75% marks the threshold of true supremacy.
Only a select few have ever surpassed 80%, while 85% has been achieved only once in recorded history.
To date, 100% Stardust remains an impossibility.
The Fifteen Percent Rule
One of the oldest principles of Gifter combat states that a 15% difference in Stardust is considered decisive.
Such a gap creates an overwhelming disparity in Stardust output, reserves, ability potency, and endurance, making victory for the weaker Gifter exceedingly unlikely.
While strategy, experience, compatibility, and Super Intuition can influence the outcome of battle, an overwhelming Stardust gap remains one of the greatest obstacles any Gifter can face.
