Tension rose up in the place as the dark shadow, Abyron, walked towards Jinwoo. He got some chills as he watched every step Abyron took.
Suddenly, Abyron found his way into the shadows; he disappeared into the thick dark that had a mix-up with smoke from the fire that was burning around. There was also a mixture of dust.
When Sung Jin-woo saw nothing in front of him after seeing Abyron coming, he got some really bad chills down his spine that made his body shake and fail to work the way it was supposed to.
Silently, he said, 'This is not good!' He said so after he realized that he'll get an attack any second, either from behind or any other side.
That second the screen flashed a bit like a broken TV after turning off from that time when it failed to give the name of the ENTITY.
When he saw another glitch, he said, "HUH, it's about to come again?"
Suddenly, he widened his eyes from astonishment and fear as he felt an attack from behind, and he turned around to the left side and blocked Abyron's attack that came from the blues.
'The what? I was supposed to sense him before he reached this point. This is bad. Maybe the system shutdown is the main reason why I had a sensing delay,' he thought after he realized his body movement and reactions. His power to detect threat was slow to reflect the threat to him as usual.
Now, Sung realized that his power was mostly from the system. The system managed to switch off before he got even stronger on his own. He was strong with the support of the system, and without it, he was just like other A ranks, not even an S rank.
The blocked Abyron jumped behind and regrouped with his senses to continue his attacks. On the other side, Sung Jinwoo followed it as it jumped behind.
He started to exchange fierce hits with it until it took out its dagger too. It had a golden dagger that had a blade that was around 40 centimeters long and then a 10-centimeter golden handle.
Sung gulped as he saw the upcoming danger and jumped behind.
When he was in the air jumping backwards, he narrowed his eyes and looked at his opponent. He then said, "Wait, I shouldn't give it some space; I can fight it head-on, with no complications. I can take him out that way."
That time, he landed, and within a second, he swiftly rushed towards Abyron.
They exchanged hits with their weapons, Jin-woo using his dual daggers while Abyron relied on his strength and the dagger that was on his right hand.
Sparks and sword-clashing sounds echoed in the dark of the world, the fight going to either side; no one was moving behind, they were all in one place.
Sung silently spoke, saying, 'This guy is strong, that is for sure. I'm fighting with, like, half of my strength, but I can finish him off if I get super serious,' he said as he furrowed his face in anger. His gaze blazed with rage as he continued fighting. His blue aura changed a bit to purple.
The fight continued until Jin-woo landed a hit on Abyron's left arm, but nothing showed inside. The cut almost took off the arm, but it got inside, leaving the arm hanging. They all stopped; no sound escaped Abyron's unseen mouth, only a stop and no movement.
Jinwoo was crouching, like, on the right side of Abyron's after he made the cut. His heart was racing while he held himself from panting, waiting for Abyron's reaction since he was cut.
In his mind, he said, 'What's up with this thing? He's not moving. With that hit, he should be screaming in pain, but he's just quiet, no sound, no reaction; he only stopped!'
He continued saying, 'This thing can be a son of darkness because I can't see anything in its wound; it should be spraying blood, but there's nothing. What is that supposed to be? Even though I didn't see his legs, it's clear that he's a human. I know it; he's supposed to scream or react. His aura is too big for me to see through, maybe.'
Suddenly, Jinwoo widened his eyes and said, 'Huh, what's that…?' he silently asked himself, his eyes widened.
A line formed on Abyron's face, and his teeth started appearing outside. He fiercely grinned as he glared at Sung.
