Chapter 19 Part 3 Secret Ink and Silent Phones

"Do as you like, but be nice to the ladies. The long‑haired one is Liu Duan from my tea room, the other is Wang Rui's cousin call her Xiaobai."

Liu Duan was a smooth talker; Xiaobai shy and quiet.

My eyes kept drifting back to Xiaobai around twenty, chic short hair, delicate features.

"Ah, Wang Rui's cousin, and still a bridesmaid? Here to spy?" I joked, hands "appreciating" both bridesmaids.

"Stop it. We've known each other for years. She's not that close to Wang Rui anyway. By the way, has the Miss still not called you?" Yunyun asked.

I shook my head and explained my long night. "No word. But she's with her father; she'll show up."

"If the Master hasn't seen her in over a month, they'll go all night. I hope we get all three sisters here at once Lanrui, Xiao Ding, all kneeling before the Master together." She spoke with a wistful melancholy.

I fell quiet, then asked, "Will Second Miss come?"

"Yes, likely with the Miss. Haha sister‑in‑law, you're here; Yayi's here too."

As I stood, I brushed against voluptuous Yingzhi, who laughed and melted into my arms, her skin flushed and soft from just finishing with her father‑in‑law.

How to describe our bond? Like a fresh honeymoon after a brief parting.

"Yayi, didn't expect you to click with the Miss. You must be busy now. If it weren't for Yunyun's wedding, you wouldn't see me," she said.

"Sister‑in‑law, don't say that I miss you. As for the Miss, it's nothing special. I just tag along."

"Yong still hasn't had a shot at her, and you scored first. Good for you. He only handed me to Mr. Lin as a gift."

Here, especially for married women, everyone was "proper," but little jealousies still stirred and they only made Yingzhi cuter.

"Yingzhi, the wedding procession is almost here. Looking for clothes?" I asked.

"I think I got fatter. This dress is too tight. Ugh."

"Stop it; you look the same. Let me zip you up."

"Not so tight… too much flesh, it hurts…"

"It's fine. Today you'll be stripped over and over."

"Ugh, I don't want to lose face in front of the Zhangs. Yunyun's getting married and now I've got no one to talk to."

"You never stop…" Yunyun sighed.

Another public display of affection; I traded an awkward smile with Yunyun. But she too was marrying today… I tried not to dwell on my own life.

Suddenly, pounding knocks hit the door, brothers and friends cheering:

"Hey beauties, we miss your pussies want the groom's big cock?"

"Red envelopes or get lost and play with your mom!" the girls shouted back.

"Haha, we'll have you all calling us daddy! Open up!"

The bridesmaids and groomsmen hurled lewd jeers and even sprayed "semen water" at the girls' faces and chests, causing shrieks and laughter.

In the end, the groom, Wang Rui, handed out fat red packets, sending the bridesmaids into a frenzy.

As he slid envelopes into their cleavage, the groomsmen took full liberty groping, even yanking dresses down to bare bouncing breasts drawing gales of laughter and squeals.

"What a riot. Youth really is something," I said to Zhang Yong as an elderly man walked in gracefully with the groom's party.

Yong sprang up respectfully. "Uncle‑Grandfather‑in‑law, you're here. Please, sit."

"Thank you, Senior Uncle. Have you prepared the secret ink?" the old man asked.

"It's ready. Our sisters‑in‑law who've had children are standing by, all waiting for you," Yong replied.

Uncle‑Grandpa nodded and chatted with the family.

After more chaos, the bride's room finally opened; Wang Rui, under bridesmaids' eyes, knelt to recite vows, tears all around by the end.

After serving tea to elders, Uncle‑Grandpa, as the senior, sat and drank, then drew from his robe a slim brush wrapped in red silk.

Bride and groom bowed to it.

"All right, after the brush, sisters‑in‑law, prepare," he called.

Two young wives each already mothers stepped forward shyly as the groomsmen cracked jokes. Two men "selected" them.

They were stripped and led outside to the blank ends of the door couplets, pressed up against the panels.

The crowd poured out; even a child asked, "Dad, what's Mom doing?"

"She's being the 'secret ink' for cousin's wedding."

"Is that like calligraphy ink?"

"No. It's also for writing but very special."

Secret ink…

Soon, the women were being taken hard at both ends of the couplets, in front of everyone even their children.

"Ah… gently… ah…"

"So deep… ah… so good…"

"Sisters‑in‑law really are the best there's a special taste after they've had kids…"

The men went hard, and the women gushed, fluids splashing to soak the paper couplets.

"All right, Uncle‑Grandpa, get ready," Zhang Yong called, making space.

As one man finished and pulled out, letting his wife squat so her juices streamed down her thigh, the old man dipped his brush into the flowing mixture, coating it and even sliding it into her, stirring to "fill" it.

"Good 'secret ink.' We'll call this 'Spring Source,'" he laughed, then wrote a gold "喜" (Joy) in the empty spot on the upper couplet. Applause erupted.

"Let's try the bottom one." He moved to the other wife. Since she was lactating, the man squeezed her breasts to spray milk across the couplet bringing down a storm of raucous laughter.

After they finished, the old man did the same and wrote a "福" (Fortune) on the lower couplet.

"Upper ink: 'Spring Source.' Lower: 'Sweet Spring.' These couplets are truly fragrant. Wang Rui, keep this brush safe," he said, handing it over wrapped in yellow silk.

So this was "secret ink."

"In big families, every character on the couplets is done like this it takes a lot of couples," a relative explained.

"Must it be sisters‑in‑law who've had children?" I asked.

"Of course represents fertility. Yingzhi doesn't qualify yet."

"When's your sister‑in‑law going to have a baby?"

"Soon. Next week at the Maternity Center. They'll pick our genetic match, and she'll get pregnant."

So the Maternity Center was the real key to childbirth here.

With the rites done, the bride changed out of her heavy dress, went bare before the ancestor shrine, then was wrapped in red cloth and carried by the groom, Xiaobai holding the auspicious umbrella, the parade of kin and friends showering confetti. The betrothal part was complete.

But that was only half the wedding; there was still the groom's house and the banquet.

In the wedding car, I checked my phone still no word from the Miss.

Finally, I dialed again.

"The number you have dialed is switched off."

I stared at the screen, hesitated, checked it one more time, then finally put the phone away.
