Chapter 8 - Chapter 7

~~~Ophelia's POV~~~
"Stop reading my mind!" I yell.
"You think I'm sexy?" He asks with prideful smile.
I blush. "Of course I do, you're my mate. I would think you're sexy if you looked like a frog but in this case, you just happen to look like a Greek god. Which I am not complaining about, but wipe that smirk off you face!" I say.
"A Greek god?" He asks smirking.
I push his arms away but he pulls me closer.
"Why do you get so embarrassed?" He asks with a small smile.
"I'm hard 24/7 because all I think about is you. I think you look even more beautiful than a goddess. Your beauty is completely unfair to every female. There is literally no one in this world who measures to your beauty. I'm a thousand years old, seen a lot of women, but none that even come close to comparing to you.
"Because I am you mate." I stare.
"No because, you're gorgeous. Your whole idea of mates not seeing the ugly parts is bullshit. If I was unattractive, you would know, but you would love me for it because I am your mate and you know that's the truth." He says.
I sign. "Okay, yes, but I think you're hot so end of story." I say.
He smiles. "And I thing you're hot." He says, kissing my neck.
He pulls away. "Now tell me something." He says.
"Okay, I really enjoy swimming and I like music." I say.
"Very nice. What kind of music do you enjoy?" He asks.
"Anything I can play on the piano." I say.
"I play, too. We actually have a grand piano, you should play for me sometime." He says with a smile.
"I shall, now your turn." I say.
"I like to read poetry." He says.
"Poetry is beautiful, I enjoy it too." I say.
"Hmmm, I really like baking." I continue.
"What do you like to bake?" He asks, curiously.
"Cakes, cookies, pies, anything with chocolate." I tell him.
He smiles. "I'll have to arrange some time for you in the kitchen, then." He says with a smile.
"Yes, you should. Now, favorite color?" I say.
"Green." He states.
I smile. "I love the forest and my favorite color is blue, like the ocean." I say.
He smiles. "Have you even been to the ocean?" He asks.
"No, I haven't but I've seen paintings. It looks so beautiful. Like some kind of dream." I answer, daydreaming.
He cuddled me close. "I'll take you to the ocean, my love." He says.
My eyes widen. "You will?" I ask, excitedly.
He smiles. "I'll take you anywhere that you want to go, as long as it's safe." He says.
I grin. "Well, I look forward to that." I say.
He moved a piece of hair, staring into my eyes.
"Favorite part of nature?" I whisper, drawn to his lips.
"I like the rain." He says.
"I enjoy the rain, but I have to say flowers." I say.
"Hmmm..." He says. Learning forward to put his mouth on my ear. "My favorite flower is the one between your legs." He says, huskily.
I blush. "That was a very cheesy like, Alpha, but technically that flower has been deflowered." I say on a breathy moan.
He pulls back. "Deflowered or not, it's still my favorite." He says with a naughty smirk.
I smile, reaching up to kiss him while wrapping my arms around his neck. His lips crash into mine while our bodies get lost in one another's.
*************
The next day.
I woke up expecting to see my mate, but instead I'm met face to face with an empty pillow. My wolf cries for her mate, and my blood runs cold. She is getting very attached, which means so am I but I can't help it. I quickly wrap a robe around myself and go in search of my mate.
I walk around the halls following his scent, which leads me to two double doors.
As I'm about to knock, his voice enters my mind.
"Come in love." He mind links.
I open the door to see him sitting at his desk shirtless, of course. I walk over to him and sit in his lap. I wrap my arms about his neck, pulling him closebas he presses his lips to my neck.
"I'm getting too attached." I say.
He chuckles. "Impossible, I'm your mate. There is no such thing as too attached." He says.
"Really? Cause waking up without you is basically the end of the world to my wolf. I almost cried just because you weren't next to me. Plus my skin itches when I'm not with you for some reason " I say.
He unties my robe, pressing my skin to his
"You're not too attached. I'm just about a thousand times worse. In fact, I was considering bringing you with me to work, but you looked to peaceful and I didn't want to chance waking you up. I haven't even gotten anything done because I've been sitting her listening to your breathing through the bond this past hour." He says.
I laugh. "Just bring me next time and I promise I won't be mad if I wake up. I just want to be close to you." I say kissing his mark.
He purrs, pushing my lower back closer so there is no space between our bodies. I niddle up his neck to his jaw.
"Don't tease me, my love." He growls.
I smile and pull away. "Alright, I'll leave you alone for now, I'm going to go make some breakfast. What would you like?" I ask.
He looks at me with lust filled eyes.
"Something sweet." He says, his hand moving up my thigh.
"Crepes it is then." I say, kissing his cheek and waltzing of to the kitchen.
I hear a growl and just as I reach the stairs, he lifts me off my feet and onto his shoulder, making his way back to the bedroom. He throws me into the bed and climbs on top of me.
I smile as he looms over me with a mischievous grin. His eyes meeting mine, making my heart thunder in my chest.
"There is no one one this earth as breathtakingly beautiful as you, my love." He says, looking at me in awe.
I blush, giving him a small smile.
"Only you " I say.
He chuckles.
I kiss his lips quickly.
"I really am hungry." I say, breaking our kiss.
"I'll call the chef to bring up breakfast and then I was thinking that we could go somewhere." He says.
"Where?" I ask excitedly.
"Somewhere special." He says with a smirk.
I roll my eyes playfully.
"You're blocking your thoughts." I say.
"It's a surprise." He says.
"Fine, I suppose I can wait." I say.
He smiles. "I thought so." He says pulling me into his chest.
