Chapter One: A Waste (1)
"Are you sure that is was an accident?" The doctor asked the two girls by his side. His eyes were full of wisdom and knowledge and his hair was a silvery white. Although he looked like he was just thirty two, people could only imagine his true age.
"Yes of course. You yourself are already clear on ninth sister Wei's condition." One of the girls quickly replied. She was Chu Fei, the fifth young Miss of the Chu Dynasty. Even though she was still a budding young lady of fifteen, she was already displaying signs of a beauty that could kill nations. Her hair was a long honey brown and her eyes were a watery brown.
"Of course I know her condition but even if she has the mentality of a six year old, even a six year old won't be as dumb as to stumble into the hunting grounds." Divine Doctor Li said in deep thought.
"Surely you don't suspect us of luring her there, do you? As you know, I already got accepted into the Blue Phoenix Academy so I am getting ready to enter. Sister Fei also will soon turn sixteen and is getting ready for her spirit awakening. How would we get the time to deal with sister Wei? We only coincidentally crashed with her and called you here." The other girl said. She was Chu Anxin, the third young Miss of the Chu Dynasty. She was already a young lady of sixteen and was very beautiful with long black hair which was put up in a high ponytail and adorned with a golden adornment. She was the definition of a dignified lady.
Seeing no point in arguing with the ladies, Divine Doctor Li sighed, "Okay. She only has a little concussion and some scabs. I'll tell Old Chu not to let her roam for a while. I'll leave." With that, he stood up and walked out.
Once he was out of earshot, Chu Fei let out a breath she didn't even know she was holding. "Thank goodness. I feared that if he continued questioning us, then he would know. Aish, this waste of space totally spoiled our plans. We could've gotten rid of her today." She said, casting a venomous glance at Chu Wei who was unconscious.
Chu Anxin glanced at the unconscious Chu Wei with a hateful glance.
This ninth cousin of hers wasn't even worth mentioning. Unlike her cousins, Chu Wei was extremely ugly. She was extremely thin, had bushy brows, acne, and dark skin. Not only that, but she doesn't show any signs of potential whatsoever. She didn't even need to get jealous of her. The reason she targeted her was...
"Xiao Wei!" A handsome man ran in with a worried look on his face.
Immediately he entered, both Chu Fei and Chu Anxin's face flushed a beautiful red. The look of love on a blossoming lady's face that could make any man feel like protecting them but alas, he only had eyes for Chu Wei.
"Brother Yan..." Chu Anxin breathed, giving the unconscious Chu Wei a hateful glance.
This! This was the reason! Zhang Yan!
After Chu Wei's parents were assassinated, he suddenly showed up as the foster son of the Grand Chief who was Chu Wei's grandfather. Not only was he breathtakingly handsome, he also had a powerful spirit guardian. Something this good, and it was wasted on trash like Chu Wei!
"Brother Yan, Doctor Li said she'll be fine. She just has a concussion." Chu Fei said.
Zhang Yan rubbed Chu Wei's head before nodding, "Okay. Then I'll let Xiao Wei rest. And I'll find out who's responsible for this!" He said and walked out of the room.
Chu Fei nervously looked at Chu Anxin, "Sister Anxin, what if he finds out..." She says nervously.
"He won't. I made sure to plan it all well. Not only won't he find anything, even this waste won't know what to say." Chu Anxin replied and walked out.
Chu Fei quickly followed.
