(Stark hears sobbing and crying)
"I don't want to die!!,I'm to...young...for...for that!!"Handric rubbing his tears from his eyes
(Stark turned his head and looked back at Handric)
"Huh!!"Stark was surprised
(Handric started poking his right palm with his left index finger out of shame)
"Well it's a long story."Handric continues with his poking,feeling ashamed of himself
(Stark grabbed Handric's hand tightly and quickly pulled him towards some shadows which were between some trees and then he started running)
Handric looked and realized then he also started running "hey!, hey!.... you can't just pull me and just leave me behind like that!"Handric's face was pale and his eyes were as wide as they could be
Stark didn't bother to look back he just kept running "if you don't wanna die just keep running "Stark's voice echoed in Handric 's head when he said that
(They ran for a short while then they eventually stopped)
(Stark noticed that there was a underground cave nearby)
(Then they got inside the cave, which seemed small but a lot of people could fit inside, but the entrance was small but, the inside appeared to be huge)
(And the cave appeared to have a tunnel that could possibly leads outside of the cave,but through the tunnel it was dark just like the rest of the area)
(It was really dark inside the cave, sound of water drops, the musky smell of dust filled the place)
He looked at Handric with unsettling look"Whaat?...Do you mean can't fight!!"Stark slightly closed his eyes
Handric started to poke his palm again with fingers and he was also chuckling in a nervous way"Like I said it's a long story."
Stark just ignored Handric 's stupid reasons they continued ,"anyways we need to get going, before those things pick up on our scent."
Handric raised his right eyebrows ."before," what picks up our scent?"
Stark looked him in the eyes and said "jaw droppers"
"Jaw droppers, huh."
Stark looked him in the eyes again then said " why don't you sound scared anymore ?"
Handric made a smirky face "Ha!... those things are so dumb they won't find us!"
Stark slouched and said "They have a way of finding us right?"
"How?, because those things aren't good at picking up scents like Man Howlers."Handric answered with confidence
"So I got enough time to address my issues. "Handric stood tall with confidence
(He patted himself on the chest)
(Stark when looking for things to make a fire before coming back to tell Handric)
"Haaaaa..... you know those things can see our tracks right"
Handric 's eyes widened "whaaaat!.... you knew this and you didn't say anything "
"Shut up!,because I'm trying to make a fire over here."Stark
"Wait!!,how can you see in here?"Handric was confused
"It's one of the skills I have."Stark didn't bother looking at him when saying that
(Handric was down for a little while)
"So he has one of the rare skills only few people have."Handric was lost in thought
(Stark was successful with the fire,it made some light )
(The hole area had spider webs and dangerous insects crawling)
(It suddenly got even colder)
"That's why we needed the fire."Stark looked tense for those moments
"What do you mean?"Handric trembling because of the sudden change of temperature
(They got closer to the fire and they surrounded it)
"I guess these things aren't normal in Alistair Kingdom."Stark looked at the fire while saying those words
"What do you mean?,it's normal to you people?"Handric looked at Stark with a disturbed manner
(Stark looked at the side for a while)
"You know being between two continents with a lot of natural mana affects the one in the middle."Stark clanged his fists,
"That being Alistair Kingdom in eastern side and you know what in the west!"Stark was to pissed to even say it
"You mean."Handric was scared to say it after Stark's expression
"Shut up!"Stark yelled at Handric
"Yeah so what did you mean about this being normal."Handric looked genuinely concerned
"Oh,yeah let me make it simple, since we are in between all that natural mana, it causes unnatural phenomena caused by the mana collusion creating creatures like Guardian-Beasts and this types of holes."Stark got closer to the fire while explaining
"We don't call the holes holes, we call them Aion Gaps."Stark looked in to the dark tunnel,then looked at Handric
(Handric wonders)
"Why is it colder in here!!"Handric was trembling,he was starting to get frightened
"Oh,that's because it's night time."Stark smiled and raised a finger
"Oh,yeah."Handric didn't understand he wasn't even fazed
"What?,night time!!"Handric screamed,he was so shocked he was left speechless

"Oh,if we spent that much time why didn't the the Jaw droppers find us!!"Handric was just confused
"Wait up,let me start from the beginning."Stark smiled

"Just get on with it."Handric looked away it felt stupid for him
"The Gap affects a bit of time and space,you see how spacious it is in here it's because of the Gap and of cause time moves slower in here."Stark added more roots
"We think we spent less that a hour but we actually spent hours."Stark with a dumb look on his face
"You know if you keep that look up I will end up not trusting a word you say."Handric looked like creep
"By the way if we spent that much time here how come aren't those beast here to chew yet!"Handric was getting pissed
"Handric,Handric,Handric what did I say those things aren't good at picking up scents,I guess I gave more credits than you deserve."Stark with the look of pity
(Stark got serious)
"Those things will pick up our scents and get in here before sunrise,but no need to worry I've been counting seconds,minutes and hours so I know when it will be time to move."Stark smirked
"Why don't we start moving right now."Handric was concerned
"The creatures outside at the moment are really strong so since you can't fight and I can't fight them alone and save energy to cross Frost Peak we will have to wait."Stark with a tense look
(Sudden movements in the tunnel)
