Chapter 141 - Chapter 141: Scared Me to Death!

Let's go back to one day ago, the day the Rex Lapis passed away. What was Orion doing when Lumine was being chased by the Millelith?

Klee suddenly arrived, and he spent the entire day playing with Klee.

"Time for an airplane ride!"

"Yay! Airplane ride! Big Brother is the best!"

Klee didn't know what an airplane was, but that didn't stop her from having a great time riding on Orion's shoulders.

With her arms spread wide and her little legs swinging in front of Orion's chest, Orion carried her, jumping here and looking there. He even found the small crown from the Miliastra Wonderland and put it on Klee.

"They really look like a pair of siblings," Skirk, who was drinking tea with Sucrose and Shenhe (who was engrossed in a novel), suddenly said out of nowhere.

Sucrose took a sip of tea and said playfully, "Miss Skirk, you're joking again~ Little Klee and Mr. Orion are indeed siblings, aren't they~"

Skirk: "..."

Others might not know, but how could she not?

Orion's current identity was purely made up. However, the original purpose of the witch Alice was to have Orion look after little Klee, so it suited her perfectly.

Sucrose blew on her tea, the hot air hitting her glasses. The weather was just right, so there was no mist.

She carefully stuck out a small tip of her tongue to test the water temperature, then confidently took a sip of tea.

Holding the teacup with both hands, she gently placed it on the tray. Sucrose maintained the posture of holding the cup with both hands as she watched Orion and Klee flashing around the hall. She said, "Actually, in terms of seniority, Albedo is also Klee's older brother. Before Mr. Orion arrived, Mr. Albedo always took on the responsibility of being a good older brother.

However, Mr. Albedo has matters with the Knights of Favonius, so he can't stay in Mondstadt all day. Klee also can't go to Dragonspine every day. In fact, Klee's cheerful personality is entirely maintained by her own innate disposition.

She goes out to make friends on her own, and even if no one has time to play with her, she'll find things to play with by herself. Her habit of bombing fish, which gives Acting Grand Master Jean such a headache, was also developed this way."

As Sucrose spoke, she showed a wry smile.

Skirk remained silent, looking at Sucrose's expression and Klee's expression.

She understood what Sucrose meant. Klee was like a 'left-behind child,' as Orion had mentioned. She had a complete family, but it wasn't exactly healthy. A child left alone at home for years, if it were an ordinary child, would probably naturally develop an introverted, quiet, and generally wary personality. Perhaps that would be the normal situation.

But Klee was different; Klee grew up completely in reverse. She was like a little sun with all her energy on, all day long. As Orion described Klee: "If Belial stole the Plasma Spark Tower, why would Taro need to do anything? Just hang Klee up there, and it would be bright enough for tens of thousands more years."

Klee's personality was simply a miracle, a miracle like those found in children's fairy tales before the age of twelve.

But Skirk wanted to say that even for Klee, who grew up eating 'hundred-family meals,' only the word "happiness" could summarize it for Skirk. At least her parents were still alive, and she had an older brother and friends who loved her, didn't she? Eating 'hundred-family meals' at least meant there was a place to eat.

Shenhe thought the same.

However, they wouldn't say it out loud. Skirk simply took the teapot from Noelle and voluntarily poured Sucrose a cup. She liked listening to these happy stories.

So did Shenhe.

"Thank you," Sucrose said, blushing. She was a shy little dog; even a slight acceptance of a relationship would make her ears twitch and her face flush.

"Since Mr. Orion arrived, Klee's happiness level, I conservatively estimate, has more than doubled," Sucrose said, pushing up her glasses. She was very rigorous with data: "Little Klee secretly told me that she never thought she would have a big brother who could play with her anytime, right by her side. She had only dreamed of such a thing.

So I am truly amazed by this Miliastra Wonderland hall, and very grateful to Mr. Orion for giving Klee a pass. An amusement park where she can play anytime, and a big brother who can accompany her anytime, this is simply the best gift for her."

Skirk also looked at Klee and suddenly asked, "What time will you stay until?"

"Ah? Us?" Sucrose pointed to herself: "Is the current time here synchronized with outside?"

"It's a synchronized rate."

"Then we can stay until evening."

Skirk nodded: "Then stay for dinner. You can come here for dinner in the future too."

After a pause, she added, "You can bring Klee, or you can come by yourself."

Sucrose was stunned, then clasped her hands together near her mouth, showing a healthy smile: "Okay!"

Afterwards, the few of them continued their incredibly ordinary ladies' tea party.

Sucrose, who had been speaking very slowly, suddenly changed her attitude and became somewhat excited: "Oh right, right! Do you know? The other day I went to Dragonspine to deliver some materials to Mr. Albedo, and I found Mr. Albedo smiling while drawing illustrations for Mr. Orion! Mr. Albedo usually doesn't show much expression. I asked around and found out that Mr. Orion made something that allows for real-time communication and gave it to Mr. Albedo, so they can chat anytime!

Oh my~ Mr. Albedo also cherishes having an extra younger brother so much~ He rarely smiles when he's doing research!

That item is also incredibly magical, real-time communication! It must be something Mr. Orion made with his amazing alchemy! I really want one to take apart and study!"

In the distance, Orion paused and looked towards Sucrose. He seemed to have heard Albedo's name just now?

Speaking of which, he previously found it too troublesome for the two of them to discuss illustrations from such a distance, and Albedo's workshop was an old distance from the teleport waypoint. So, he pulled out a few communication treasures from his Gate of Babylon and gave them to him.

Not to mention, the Gate of Babylon is much more convenient than creating things with his clearance, since they are ready-made.

At this moment, Klee suddenly patted Orion's head cautiously, then bent down and tried to get her mouth close to Orion's ear: "Big Brother, did you send golden light to Acting Grand Master Jean and them, and to Sister Fischl and them?"

Orion was confused for a moment, but quickly reacted: "Oh, you mean the golden weapons that fell from the sky?"

Klee nodded vigorously.

Orion asked again, "Klee wants one too?"

"Hehe!" Klee scratched her head shyly.

This made Orion incredibly fond of her. He picked Klee up from his shoulders and put her on the ground, patting his chest and saying, "Don't worry, Big Brother will pull one out for you!"

He had currently saved up enough for a ten-pull, which was only about eight single pulls, but what could he do? She asked him for it!

So Orion raised his hands, hoping for another big one!

"Come on, this time with a child present, I won't shout it out, but Heavenly Principles, you better get this straight, give my sister a golden magic book! The rarest one!!!"

—Hard work creates miracles!

Wow, and water fry.

A single pull was pressed, one hundred sixty Primogems were consumed, and a golden light really did fall from the sky!

"My goodness! That's awesome!"

"Wow! Big Brother is the best!"

Both siblings were very happy. The golden light slowly landed in Orion's hand; it was really a book!

Orion's face lit up with joy. Let me quickly see what magic book the prison law has given me! I can't wait!

Before Sun and Moon

Damn it! You scared me to death!
