Synopsis
Nobody expected to find a pack that was completely ran by a Luna. One that never found her mate, but made it to the top through sheer determination and will. Lunari, while her beauty was one to behold, don’t let it fool you. Her tongue just as sharp as a silver dagger, her insults cut just as deep. Although smaller than Alpha’s she makes up for it in speed, tactical thinking, and watching.

I covered my mouth with one hand, the other clutching the danger on the floor. I hated the idea of hiding, but I wasn't ready for this.

I watched as she walked into the kitchen, her nose crinkling at the spices we used to cook for dinner that night.

"Come out, my little pup."

She said in almost a soothing voice, but I knew if she got her hands on me I was done.

Where was everybody?! I need help!!

I thought as loud as possible, the only thing on the other side of the link was silence. I couldn't feel anybody. Not my mother. My father. Not even my brothers.

A very small whimper escaped my throat once I was met with silence. That's all she needed. She turned her scarlet heels towards the butcher's table, I could hear her tsking as she walked closer.

"Oh, you poor thing." She sneered, every moment coming closer, until she was at the table.

I stared down at those heels for what felt like forever before I saw her lift the cover off the table and reach for me.

I couldn't think, my first reaction was to grab the dagger on my hand and sliced across her palm.. the flash of red in her eye told me I crossed a line.

"We were suppose to bring you in alive, nobody said anything about consciousness."

As the woman went to stand, I kicked out as hard as I could into her leg. Praying to the Goddess, she'd help me get away. Before I could confirm she hit the ground, I was out from under the table, and running for my life.

As soon as ran out of the kitchen, I ran into another person. He seemed almost my age, 16, but something was wrong. There was no life in his eyes, he was just a puppet that looked human. Before I could run past, there was a sharp prick in my neck.

"Sweetest Dream my little pup."

The last thing I could focus on, was the boys green eyes.. as everything else was swallowed by darkness.
