"Hahahaha! Exactly—after you've fought with everything you've got, you have to pair it with fine booze!"
The very next second, Roger—no one knew where he'd even found it—was already lounging on the deck, drinking at his leisure.
"You bastard… when did you take that out?" Rono snapped.
Rono quickly realized the alcohol Roger was drinking had come from his ship!
Back on the island, after learning advanced brewing, Rono had made a whole lot of liquor himself and stored it in the hold. When had this guy discovered it?
"Did you brew this?" Roger asked, eyes gleaming. "Not bad—your craftsmanship is solid!"
Glug, glug. In no time at all, Roger polished off an entire jar.
But in the blink of an eye, Roger vanished—then reappeared. When he did, more than a dozen jars had suddenly appeared in front of him.
"Drinking alone is boring. Come on—drink with me." The next second, Roger tossed a jar straight at Rono.
"Hey, hey! I didn't brew that much in total!" Rono winced, feeling his heart ache.
That stash was supposed to last until the day he joined the Rocks Pirates.
"Hahaha! Don't worry about it! That fight earlier wore me out—cheers!"
Roger didn't care in the slightest. He grabbed Rono and started drinking with him in high spirits.
