Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Continental Situation

Luo Xuanyi's father blinked, looked left and right at his hands, then touched his chest, and said with a face full of disbelief, "My injuries are all healed! I never thought there was such a miraculous thing in this world. It's truly amazing."

Seeing this scene, Luo Xuanyi and the others immediately widened their eyes, their hair standing on end, shocked to the point where their jaws almost dropped to the floor.

Just moments ago, Father Luo was lying sickly in bed, his face filled with pain. After eating that little bean, he instantly regained his vitality and was fully revived.

"Wife! Look, I'm all better!" Father Luo patted his chest repeatedly, excitedly telling his family.

"Husband, are you really all better?"

"Dad's injuries just healed like that?"

"Uncle, are you truly recovered?"

Hearing this, everyone snapped back to reality. Looking at the lively and energetic Father Luo, their faces showed joy, but they still couldn't quite believe the scene before them.

"Yes, really, if you don't believe me, touch me." Seeing their disbelief, Father Luo spread his arms, indicating that they could inspect him themselves.

"Oh yeah! He's really all better!"

Seeing this, the family gathered around, checking Father Luo's body. After confirming that he had truly recovered, they held hands and jumped for joy.

Father Luo was also happy to embrace them, and Luo Fei, even more excited, hung directly onto his father. Mother Luo and the two girls wept tears of joy.

Their joyous laughter echoed through the humble room, their faces radiating happiness and contentment, so much so that they didn't even notice when Qin Yan left.

Qin Yan quietly exited the room, letting them fully enjoy this beautiful moment, and went downstairs to wait quietly.

...

"Huh? Where's Qin Yan?" Luo Xuan finally reacted, looking around the room, but Qin Yan was nowhere to be seen.

"He probably went downstairs. Look at all this, we neglected him. Hurry down and see. Little brother Qin Yan helped our family so much, and we've been rude to him. Hurry down to apologize and thank him properly."

"Right, right, right! Look at me, a big oaf, I didn't even realize. I need to hurry and thank him properly." Father Luo said with a wry smile, scratching his head.

After tidying up a bit, the few of them left the room and hurried downstairs.

As Qin Yan sat waiting downstairs, he suddenly heard hurried footsteps coming from the stairs. He looked up to see Xiao Bei and Luo Xuanyi's family rushing down.

"Sorry to keep you waiting so long, little brother Qin Yan," Luo Xuanyi's father said with a smile, walking briskly towards him.

"It's alright, Uncle. We are all flesh and blood; such genuine emotion is human nature. I can understand your feelings."

"You're truly a kind and understanding child. Thank you for saving our family."

"Qin Yan, thank you for healing my dad."

Luo Xuanyi's mother and the others repeatedly bowed and thanked Qin Yan.

"Thank you, little brother Qin Yan! Thank you for saving my daughter Xuanyi in her time of crisis today, and thank you for saving my life. Your great kindness is impossible to repay. If you ever need Uncle's help, just say the word. This old life of mine is yours."

"Uncle, you're being too serious. You all don't have to be like this. Meeting is fate; if I can help, I will. These are just small favors to me." The whole family being so polite made Qin Yan feel a little overwhelmed.

"Alright, husband, let our little brother rest a bit! Oh, right, Auntie Qin Yan has prepared a guest room for you. You've been carrying this little one for so long, you must be tired! Let Xuanyi take you up to see it, and put her to sleep on the bed! That way she'll be more comfortable." At this moment, Mother Luo came to his rescue.

"Right, right, right! Xuanyi, quickly take Qin Yan up to see it." Luo Xuanyi's father stepped forward and nudged his daughter.

"Mmm, okay, Qin Yan, let's go!" Luo Xuanyi responded, then pulled Qin Yan upstairs.

"Okay!" Qin Yan didn't hesitate, carrying Little Liya on his back, and followed her.

"Xiao Bei, you go too! See if you can help your sister Xuanyi with anything. I'll go heat the bathwater for you all. Little Fei, come help Mom in the kitchen. The village is busy preparing for the evening's gathering and feast, so husband, you can freshen up and go help everyone."

"Okay, Mom!"

"Okay, Auntie."

"Okay, my dear, I'm going right away. I'll let those brothers see how I am after suddenly recovering."

"Oh, you! Still as childish as a child."

"Hehe!"

Sounds from Mother Luo and the others came from behind, and then Xiao Bei followed.

....

After settling Little Liya, Qin Yan and the others went to the living room to chat.

Qin Yan inquired about the current situation of the continent.

From Luo Xuanyi, he learned that this was a world dominated by cultivation of magic and battle qi, a world where the strong reigned supreme. Those who cultivated magic and battle qi held extraordinary status in this world.

The methods of cultivating magic and battle qi were divided into various elemental energies: Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth, Light, Dark, Wind, and Thunder.

Strength levels were divided into six ranks.

In terms of magic, from weak to strong, they were: Mages, Magicians, Magi, Archmages, Great Archmages, and Spell Saints.

In terms of battle qi, from low to high, they were: Swordsmen, Sword Masters, Great Sword Masters, Sword Heroes, Great Sword Heroes, and Sword Saints.

As for the Knights mentioned by Luo Xuanyi earlier, they were a special existence, or rather, a symbol of honor, a title within the Knights Templar.

The Knights Templar was a powerful team jointly supported and established by the three super empires and other countries on the continent, but it operated independently of any nation.

No national leader could command them; they only obeyed the directives of the internal leadership of the Knights Templar. They were a legion of brave warriors specialized in confronting the most dangerous front lines against the Demon Race.

It gathered the continent's most outstanding magicians and battle qi practitioners, and the Knight title was a noble honorary title jointly bestowed by the three super empires and various continental countries, recognized and revered by all people on the continent as heroes.

The Knight titles within the Knights Templar, from lowest to highest, were: Lower Knight, Middle Knight, Upper Knight, Fine Steel Knight, and then Sky Knight and Holy Knight.

Different titles represented different positions, statuses, and strengths.

Furthermore, the King Knight mentioned by Luo Fei was an even higher honorary title, ranking above the Holy Knight, now only existing in legends, as no King Knight had appeared for several hundred years.

There were three super empires on the continent, and countless small kingdoms. The three super empires were: the Divine Radiance Empire in the center, the Aolai Empire in the east, and the Storm Empire in the north.

The population of these three super empires alone accounted for more than half of the world's total human population. Most importantly, all three empires had Spell Saints overseeing them.

Among the three super empires, the Divine Radiance Empire was slightly more powerful. The headquarters of the Knights Templar was located in the imperial capital of the Divine Radiance Empire.

The continent's number one human powerhouse, Light Holy Knight, was the supreme commander of the Knights Templar and an honorary national advisor of the Divine Radiance Empire.

The other two empires were roughly equal in strength; the Aolai Empire excelled at producing battle qi practitioners, and the Storm Empire was known for its Wind and Ice elemental magicians.

The Western Wilderness Desert Land of the continent was occupied by the Demon Race. They were naturally brutal and bloodthirsty, constantly launching wars everywhere, causing unrest across the continent.

The war between humans and the Demon Race had lasted for over a thousand years, and it was said that the Demon Race's harassment had become even more frequent in recent years.

There were also many dangerous areas on the continent. The Hundred Thousand Primitive Mountains in the south was one of the most famous and dangerous places, where various fierce wild beasts and demon beasts roamed all year round.

Its core area was even home to powerful Holy Beasts. Of course, it also contained abundant resources, attracting countless adventurers to explore, but none dared to venture deep into the Hundred Thousand Primitive Mountains, fearing a great terror from which they might not escape.

The Elf Tribe also lived deep within the Hundred Thousand Primitive Mountains.

Legend had it that powerful Dragon Race also resided on distant eastern islands overseas, but whether that was true or false was beyond their knowledge.

Their village was a remote settlement located in the southwest of the Rice Kingdom. Further west, beyond the great grasslands, lay the Western Wilderness Desert Land, the dwelling place of the Demon Race tribes.

Not far to the south was the edge of the Hundred Thousand Primitive Mountains. This area was also a crucial passage for the Demon Race's eastward advance into the continent, making it extremely perilous.

With this, Qin Yan gained a basic understanding of the current continental situation.

"The water's ready, Qin Yan, you can go take a bath now." Just as Qin Yan was pondering, Luo Xuanyi's mother walked out and said.

"Okay, thank you, Auntie!" So the water was ready. Snapping back to reality, Qin Yan's face lit up, and he quickly responded.

"Oh, you child, so polite. It's Auntie who should be thanking you."

"Alright, go on. Auntie has already prepared the water for you. Do you want Auntie to help you scrub your back?"

"No need, thank you, Auntie, I'll do it myself." Qin Yan's face flushed instantly as he quickly refused. Although he currently had the body of a three-year-old child, he was indeed a soul nearing thirty, and having a middle-aged woman scrub his back felt rather awkward.

"Oh my! You're shy, child. Xuanyi and Luo Fei, when they were little, Auntie always helped them bathe." Seeing Qin Yan's suddenly red face, Luo Xuanyi's mother chuckled, teasing him.

"Qin Yan, do you want me and Xiao Bei to bathe with you?" Suddenly, Luo Xuanyi also came out to join the fun.

Xiao Bei, on the other hand, showed no reaction, always maintaining a kind and calm demeanor.

"No, I can manage by myself." Hearing this, Qin Yan was mortified and quickly scurried into the bathroom, escaping this perilous place.

"Ha! Ha! Ha!" Luo Xuanyi's bursts of laughter could be heard from outside.
