"Is this news verified? Are you certain it was a Saiyan? If it was, who could possibly possess such combat strength? Every Saiyan is under our constant surveillance. If such a powerful one truly existed, how could we not know? Speak did you report false intelligence?"
Zarbon stood to the side, his face filled with disbelief as he barked at the cockscomb-headed alien. He knew Dodoria's strength all too well; the man's power level was over twenty thousand.
Since the entire Saiyan race was under their watch, their capabilities were clear as day. Even King Vegeta, the strongest among them, only hovered around ten thousand. How could any of them be a match for Dodoria? They simply could not believe that a warrior with a power level of ninety thousand could be a Saiyan.
"Or perhaps a Saiyan transformed into a Great Ape and attacked Dodoria?" Frieza mused. He turned his Hoverchair around, his cold gaze fixed on the shivering alien kneeling on the floor.
"Reporting to the Great King! According to the last message from Lord Dodoria's scouter before his death, he explicitly stated it was a Saiyan reinforcement. The one who attacked him was a Saiyan brat.
From their conversation, Lord Dodoria initially used his scouter and saw the brat's power level was only five. However, after the brat provoked him, Lord Dodoria attacked, but strangely, he couldn't land a single hit. He was even struck several times in return.
Finally, the brat's power level suddenly skyrocketed. Lord Dodoria's scouter recorded it reaching ninety thousand just before he and the rest of the men met their ends at that kid's hands," the alien reported truthfully.
"Oh? Mr. Zarbon, what do you make of this?" Frieza asked leisurely, his eyes never leaving Zarbon.
"Reporting to King Frieza, based on the description, the opponent is likely a Saiyan capable of controlling his power level. If that is indeed the case, it will be quite disadvantageous for us," Zarbon analyzed smoothly.
"Ohohoho! Interesting... truly interesting. To dare kill Dodoria with a power level of ninety thousand, and to be a Saiyan capable of suppressing his strength... Hmph! Well done indeed.
This person's strength is closing in on Captain Ginyu of the Ginyu Force, isn't it?" Frieza burst into laughter a sound so sinister and chilling it inspired pure dread. A dangerous, cold light flickered in his eyes.
The cockscomb-headed alien felt his heart hammering against his ribs. Terrified, he lay flat on the ground, not daring to move an inch. Everyone knew that King Frieza was currently in an extremely foul mood.
Indeed, Frieza was furious. He didn't feel a shred of grief or heartache over Dodoria's death; instead, he felt his authority had been slighted. To him, the death of a subordinate was merely a challenge to his status.
Aside from his father, King Cold, and his brother, Cooler, Frieza had never suffered a loss, and no one had ever dared to provoke him. Those who did were long dead. As an emperor, Frieza would not allow his men to be killed so casually.
"Where is the Ginyu Force right now?" Frieza suddenly asked, seemingly intending to summon them.
"Lord Frieza, are you planning to have the Ginyu Force rush here?" Zarbon asked, shocked. He hadn't expected Frieza to deploy that terrifying demon squad. They were Frieza's ultimate trump card, and even Zarbon felt a chill down his spine whenever he recalled their ruthless methods.
"Reporting to King Frieza, the Ginyu Force has just completed a mission and is returning to headquarters. It will take them about a month to reach us," the alien on the floor said tremulously.
"Oh? Is that so? Then never mind. This time, I shall personally teach these ill-mannered savages a lesson," Frieza said, his voice dropping to a haunting tone.
Zarbon was stunned. Lord Frieza is going to take action personally? That was a sight seen once in a century. He realized Frieza wasn't just annoyed; he was reaching a state of absolute rage.
"Fine. You may leave now," Frieza told the alien on the ground.
"As you command, King Frieza!"
Whew! The alien let out a massive sigh of relief. He performed a hasty bow and turned to flee this den of danger as fast as his legs could carry him.
Zip!
A red laser beam instantly pierced through the alien's back before he had even taken a few steps. His life force vanished in an instant, and his body slumped lifelessly to the floor.
"I have no need for subordinates who are this cowardly," Frieza remarked coldly, having fired the killing shot without even turning his head.
Frieza turned back to gaze out the window at the vast, starry cosmos. His face was calm, but his crimson eyes leaked a bottomless killing intent. It was impossible to tell if he was admiring the view or plotting something terrible.
As Frieza turned, two more aliens entered the room. They dragged the dead alien out and quickly cleaned the area.
"Full speed ahead to Planet Vegeta," Frieza commanded, his back still turned to his men.
"Yes, Lord Frieza," Zarbon responded.
Following the order, Frieza's subordinates became a blur of activity as the spaceship accelerated toward its destination.
Planet Vegeta, Qin Yan's Home.
Qin Yan had just used Instant Transmission to bring his parents and Bardock's team back to their house.
Looking at the familiar surroundings, Qin Yan's parents explained that they were home. Bardock and his squad stood with their jaws practically on the floor. They were shocked that Qin Yan possessed such a powerful technique, allowing them to return to Planet Vegeta from a distant world in the blink of an eye.
The sequence of events today had left them in a daze. It was all too overwhelming and unbelievable.
"Since time is of the essence, we'll split into two groups," Bardock began, taking charge. "Tora and I will go to the palace to report Frieza's conspiracy to King Vegeta and have him mobilize all Saiyans to fight back. The rest of you, hurry and notify our other comrades."
"Understood," everyone nodded. They recognized the gravity of the situation and dared not slack off. No one questioned Bardock's arrangements.
"Uh, just a quick reminder don't bother looking for King Vegeta," Qin Yan called out as the group prepared to leave.
"Why?" they asked in confusion.
Facing their puzzled gazes, Qin Yan explained, "Because not long ago, he already started planning a rebellion against Frieza. He's already on his way and might be standing right in front of Frieza by now. You won't find him at the palace, and it's too late to contact him. Given Frieza's nature, I think you all know what happens to those who fall into his hands."
"What? King Vegeta led a rebellion? That's great! They'll definitely be able to take Frieza down! But wait, how do you know this, Qin Yan?" Tora and the others grew incredibly excited. It seemed they had immense faith in their King.
"I scouted the information on our way back," Qin Yan said, his voice dripping with mockery. "You all are far too confident... far too arrogant. You overrate King Vegeta and vastly underrate Frieza. You have no idea of Frieza's true power. King Vegeta's end on this trip will be his absolute annihilation."
Qin Yan looked at Tora and the others with disdain. Their blind faith in the King was laughable. How could those few pieces of trash possibly resist Frieza?
"Impossible! King Vegeta is the strongest among all Saiyans. Even if he can't beat Frieza, he can escape. How could he die?" Tora retorted. They refused to believe their King could lose so easily, let alone perish.
However, when he claimed the King was the strongest Saiyan, his voice lacked its previous conviction because Qin Yan, standing right there, was already significantly stronger than King Vegeta.
"Heh, impossible? Do you even know Frieza's true strength? Do you have any idea what his power level actually is?" Qin Yan asked airily, glancing around at the group. Seeing them staring at each other in silence, clearly clueless, he continued.
"Frieza is a super-tier powerhouse of the universe. He belongs to a rare species called the Frieza Race. Their numbers are extremely few, but every single one of them is born with Peerless power.
Because their strength is too great, they spend their time encased in ice from birth, only emerging once they reach maturity. Currently, there are only three known members of the Frieza Race in the North Galaxy, and every one of them has the power to dominate the universe. Frieza is one of them."
"However, because the power of the Frieza Race is too immense to control, they use transformations to regress and suppress the terrifying combat strength within their bodies."
The group froze. In their understanding of the universe, almost every living being was trying to find ways to increase their power level. Special creatures used evolution or transformation to get stronger,
but Frieza's race actually had to suppress their power because they were too strong? It was a terrifying concept. Just how high would a power level have to be to require suppression?
Qin Yan scanned the room, taking in everyone's reactions. His next words would deal them a heavy psychological blow, perhaps even driving them to total despair. And that was exactly what he wanted.
"Frieza has a total of three transformations. The form you usually see is his base state, with his power highly compressed. In that 'normal' state, Frieza's power level is five hundred and thirty thousand!"
"What? Five hundred and thirty thousand?!" everyone shrieked in horror.
"Yes. Five hundred and thirty thousand."
Hiss!
A collective gasp filled the room. They were stunned, their minds going blank with fear.
Ignoring their shock, Qin Yan pressed on. "When Frieza releases his restrictions and undergoes his first transformation into his second form, his combat power increases several times over, reaching over one million.
The second transformation is even more terrifying, like a living hell. As for his final form his true appearance his power becomes world-shattering. At just fifty percent of his strength,
his power level is sixty million. In his one hundred percent full-power state, Frieza's power level is approximately one hundred and twenty million."
As Qin Yan spoke, everyone was left paralyzed by a deep, hollow despair. A profound sense of powerlessness washed over their hearts.
