Chapter 86 - Chapter 86: Heading to West City

"Haha! If that's truly possible, then I'm deeply grateful to you, young friend."

Hearing Qin Yan's words, Kami was momentarily stunned before letting out a hearty laugh. Although he was moved by the gesture, he knew that returning home was likely an unrealistic dream.

"Mm, we'll see when the time comes."

Qin Yan didn't press the issue. He understood Kami's thoughts. The main problem was that he didn't yet know the exact spatial coordinates of Planet Namek, making Instant Transmission impossible for now. Once he had the chance to visit the planet in the future, he would bring Kami along. Talking about it now served little purpose.

However, using the Dragon Orbs to make a wish was a direct shortcut to Planet Namek. This realization sparked an idea in Qin Yan's mindone he could put into motion once his current business was finished.

"Qin Yan, since you know so much about my homeland, Planet Namek, could you tell me about their current situation?" Kami asked suddenly, his eyes full of anticipation and excitement. Like a wanderer far from home, he constantly yearned for his birthplace, a deep sense of homesickness buried in his gaze.

"Alright. I don't know everything, but I can share some basic information."

Seeing the longing in the old man's eyes, Qin Yan felt a pang of empathy. It reminded him of his own past self. He decided to describe Planet Namek to ease Kami's nostalgia.

"That's quite alright. Just a brief summary will do. This old man thanks you, young friend." Kami was delighted and thanked Qin Yan repeatedly.

"There's no need for that. Compared to the help you've given me, this is nothing," Qin Yan said with a wave of his hand, treating it as simple conversation.

"On the contrary! This information is incredibly precious to me and holds great meaning." Kami's weathered face held a look of profound sincerity and gratitude.

"It goes like this: long ago, Planet Namek underwent a massive upheaval. The climate shifted, making survival exceptionally difficult for the Namekians. Many lost their lives during the cataclysm, and the race nearly went extinct. However, a small portion of Namekians managed to survive against all odds."

Qin Yan began his narration, and Kami listened intently. Beside them, Mr. Popo also stood in silence, hanging on every word.

"After the upheaval, through long ages of evolution, Planet Namek slowly recovered. By now, the planet has returned to a state where life can carry on normally."

Hearing this, Kami's eyes lit up, heartened by the news that his home was restored.

"Currently, about several hundred Namekians live there. They are scattered across natural villages of about a hundred people each. Namekians are upright and kind people who love life and peace."

"Furthermore, the Namekians have their own Dragon Orbs. They were created by the Grand Elder Guru. He is exceptionally talented, and the orbs he crafted are incredibly powerfulthey can grant three wishes."

"W-what? Three wishes?"

Kami was utterly astonished by the Grand Elder Guru's power. His own Dragon Orbs could only grant a single wish.

"That's right, three. The Grand Elder Guru of Planet Namek was the sole survivor of that ancient cataclysm. Every Namekian on the planet today is one of his children, and they all revere him deeply."

"Everyone born on Planet Namek enjoys the best possible life. They have no military; instead, each village has a warrior to protect their home and their Dragon Orbs. Though Namekians possess a high level of technology, they dislike overusing it. They prioritize spiritual growth over material wealth. There are seven Dragon Orbs in total, each guarded by a highly respected elder."

"That is the general state of Planet Namek today."

After a long while, Qin Yan finally finished his description.

"I never imagined my homeland had such a turbulent history. To think there are compatriots like me out there in the distant stars... I truly wish I could see it for myself!"

Kami's mind was a whirlwind of emotion. His longing for home deepened, and a fierce desire to meet his kin took root in his heart.

"Kami-sama..."

Seeing the Guardian's reaction, Mr. Popo looked on with worry and concern. Having been Kami's companion for centuries, serving as both friend and mentor, he understood the complex emotions stirring within him. Though Mr. Popo was not a man of many words and didn't know how to offer comfort, his silent care was evident in his subtle expression. The two understood each other perfectly.

"There will be a chance," Qin Yan offered comfortingly.

"Hahaha! Then I shall take those auspicious words to heart." Kami was naturally optimistic; he quickly adjusted his mindset, and his usual gentle demeanor returned.

"Qin Yan, is there anything else we can help you with?" Kami asked.

"Heh! Actually, there is." Qin Yan scratched his head with an embarrassed laugh.

"Haha! No matter, speak your mind." Seeing the youth's bashful look, Kami gave a hearty laugh. He wasn't bothered. In fact, he wanted to do Qin Yan as many favors as possible. If Earth ever faced a crisis, the probability of Qin Yan stepping in would be much higher, providing a greater guarantee for the planet's safety.

"It's like this: after I finish my current business, I'd like to borrow the Hyperbolic Time Chamber on the Lookout for a period of cultivation. Would that be alright?"

Since Kami had offered, Qin Yan didn't stand on ceremony and stated his request directly. Since he was already on Earth, he had to experience the legendary Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Moreover, a year of training inside was only a day outside. The time dilation there was far superior to the training grounds inside his Ring Space.

"Oh? You even know about the Hyperbolic Time Chamber on the Lookout? Truly extraordinary."

Kami was surprised once again. He had lost count of how many times this mysterious teenager had shocked him today. It felt as though the boy was omniscient.

"I did some research before coming here, so naturally, I found out. After all, knowing the enemy and knowing yourself is the key to victory," Qin Yan fabricated a reason. He couldn't exactly say he was a transmigrator who had read the original story.

"Haha! Strong, yet so meticulous. Your future achievements will surely be limitless!"

Though Kami had his suspicions, he didn't press for details; there was no need.

"You flatter me, Kami. It's all for the sake of becoming stronger and my cultivation path," Qin Yan said humbly. What he said was the truth; even with "cheats," he needed to work hard. Given his natural talent, any laziness would allow others to catch up. He had to give his all.

"Very well! Of course you may use it. Whenever you are free, young friend, you are welcome. I will have Mr. Popo lead you there." Kami readily agreed to the request.

"Then I am most grateful," Qin Yan replied.

"Not at all! As long as I can be of assistance." Kami's aged face wore a kind smile.

"This is already a huge help. Well, Kami-sama, we should take our leave. Once we've handled our affairs, we will return to visit."

Seeing that things were settled, Qin Yan prepared to head to his next destination.

"Since you have urgent matters, we won't keep you. Once I've collected the Dragon Orbs, I will contact you." Kami didn't try to make him stay, knowing Qin Yan had work to do. A bridge of friendship had been built; there would be plenty of opportunities to meet again.

"Good! I'll leave it to you then." Qin Yan cupped his fists toward Kami and Mr. Popo.

He then took Little Liya's hand. A whirlwind rose beneath their feet, and they slowly ascended into the air.

"Goodbye, Kami-sama! Mr. Popo!" Qin Yan waved farewell.

"Goodbye!" Little Liya also waved along with him.

"Goodbye!" Kami and Mr. Popo waved back.

With that, Qin Yan and Liya flared their aura and flew down from the Lookout, speeding off in the direction of West City.

A moment later, their silhouettes vanished into the horizon.
