The old man passed through Aziel's body and did not react as all. It seemed as if Aziel didn't even exist in the room.
The old man stopped near the wooden shelves. He opened the letter once again and started to look at it again. He read it and stepped back one step and then again read it and again step back. He continued to do this for the next five minutes.
Then the old man started to laugh louder and louder. His hand was gripping the letter more and more tight.
After a while he looked back and started to scream alone in the room.
"Yes, I can do this."
"I am the chosen one."
"No one can be compared with me."
Aziel looked at him unable to understand what was happening. His eyes flickered toward the old man.
The old man then started to move around the room his steps were dazed and disoriented. He started to press his palms against his ears. He continued and then his voice suddenly started to tremble.
"Ye…yes I… can do it."
What is happening to him? Aziel thought. he tried to move toward him, but it looked like he was stuck there.
Then the world again started to revolve around Aziel. His senses getting more and more weaker and eyes getting foggy. He continued to hear someone calling his name.
Aziel.
Aziel.
Again and again. But he could not move his lips.
Then everything went blank. Nothing except darkness around Aziel. And he fell deeper and deeper inside it.
Suddenly…
Aziel felt pain in his head. He opened his eyes slowly. As he opened them, he saw an arched solid wooden roof with a lantern hanging on it.
Aziel heaved himself up and looked around. Azik sitting in front of him.
As Azik saw Aziel open his eyes he leaned toward him. His long hair covering his eyes. He gazed directly at Azile's eyes and said.
"Are you alright? Aziel."
Aziel glared at Azik for a long time unsure if he is back or not and then a long breath left his lips.
It is over.
Aziel exhaled once more and leaned back, his fingers on his lap. He moved his left hand and drew the curtains of the carriage aside.
Outside the street was full of people, busy in their daily life. As children were running and racing each other on the streets a faint smile appeared on Aziel's lips, and he said with a calm voice.
"Nothing special. It is too peaceful."
Azik glared at Aziel as he said those words and leaned backwards.
"Listen, Aziel." Azik said with calm voice. "If you are not going to say anything let me, tell you about something."
As Aziel heard his words his eyes glared back to Azik, closing the curtain back to its position. His eyes and face locked on Azik's lips to know about the mysteries he does not know yet.
"First, you should not take your life lightly." Azik said, his voice whispered in the carriage. "You are only alive because Ninja's Manifex energy flowing in you."
Azik leaned forward looking directly in Aziel's eyes and said.
"Otherwise, you would have been executed."
Aziel's eyes widened as he heard those words. For a moment the world became too silent for him as if the world had paused.
His fingers tightened, heart pounded louder and louder.
What is he saying? Aziel thought.
As Azik looked at Aziel he continued.
"Aziel, you have already fallen into Mindfall third stage and for the past 2000 years no one has ever overcome it. everyone who has fallen into it has been executed."
As Aziel heard those words, the harder it hit him in the heart as a blade has pierced it.
He pressed his hands on his ears as if the whole world was shouting in them. Small tears started to form in his eyes.
Stop it.
Stop it.
Aziel repeated those words in his mind more and more.
Suddenly Azik stood up and slapped directly on the face. Aziel looked up and for an instant Azik hair moved to a side for a few instant but in that instant Aziel could see a lot.
Azik's eyes had small tears clung to the edge of his eyes lid. They looked dull and tired as if they have been working for a long time.
"If you… want to live… then listen to me." Azik stuttered as he spoke. "Trust us and we will help you get out of it."
Aziel looked at Azik's hands they were shaking a little. He has never seen Azik like this ever.
Aziel bowed his head down, voice barely leaving from his mouth.
"I saw an old person in a room."
Azik moved back and sat down and rested his hand on his lap and said.
"What do you mean?"
Aziel continued with shaky voice and his heart hammering.
"I don't know but as I lose my consciousness, I found myself there"
Azik moved his hand forward and lifted Aziel's head and said.
"Don't worry, we will figure it out." He had an unusual smile on his face looking at Aziel. "Just don't lose hope. Don't disappoint those who are worried about you."
Azik shifted the curtains sideways and pointed outside.
"Look. There is a lot for you to know."
Aziel looked outside and he remembered the face of everyone who loves him and hope great things from him.
Aziel thought as he tightened his hand.
I won't disappoint you guys.
I won't lose hope.
