The long awaited award ceremony had arrived Mu Xiu had already gone to the barrack to meet up with her colleagues. The most excited people were the Mu family, they got ready quickly then they left for the venue it didn't take long for them to reach
"Mom, Dad over here" Mu Xiu shouted waving her hands Mu Linfeng and Ling Rui walked to her direction. Ling Rui gave her a hug "I'm so proud of you, my baby is so capable" Ling Rui praised lovingly, Mu Linfeng kept silent but his broad smile which was rare expressed his mood. "It feels so good to have my family support me I'm extremely happy today" she said with her eyes turning red
"Xiu please don't be emotional, at least not today" Mu Xiao teased
"Shut up" she snapped at him
"Mom, Dad let me introduce you to some of my colleagues " she said then she walked to a group of people who had been stretching their heads curiously
"Guys this is my mom and dad, Mom Dad meet my colleagues who are my also my friends and family here" she introduced both sides but her soldier friends were shocked they didn't know that their commander Mu was the only daughter of the legendary Mu family and she had been low-key all these while and she didn't put on airs like the other heiresses.
"It's nice to meet you Mr & Mrs Mu" they all greeted in unison

"Please can I take a photo with you , I'm your biggest fan" a female soldier mustered up courage and asked Mu Feng

After taking the selfie they exchanged some polite words with the brothers although they also wanted to take selfies with Mu Ling and Mu Xiao but they couldn't muster up the courage due to the serious expressions they had the whole time. They felt envious of Mu Xiu her career was at the peak and she had an outstanding family "Dad, Mom let's go take a seat it's about to start" Mu Xiao said feeling excited, even though she tried to gain her composure she couldn't help but feel excited.
The organizer went on stage to say a short introductory speech while the organizer was saying the speech the president arrived. The higher ups stood up from their seats to go and welcome the president, it was a grand scene they escorted him to his reserved seat
