Chapter 60 - The Poseidon Fleet

[Neo-Atlantis - The Deep Water Harbor]

The sun was rising over the ocean. Alex stood on the docks, wearing a black military trench coat. Beside him stood Luna (sharpening her blade) and Dr. Aris (holding a datapad).

"The Council hides in the ocean," Alex said, looking at the horizon. "They have nuclear submarines. They have stealth destroyers. They have controlled the seas for 500 years."

"We have no navy, Sir," Dr. Aris noted nervously. "We have cargo ships and fishing boats. If we leave the Aegis Shield, they will sink us in five minutes."

Alex smiled. "Dr. Aris, you still think like a poor man."

"Dawn," Alex tapped his earpiece. "Open the System Store. Category: Naval Supremacy."

A massive blue menu appeared in the sky, blocking out the sun.

Item: Nuclear Aircraft Carrier (Ford Class). Cost: $13 Billion.

Item: Stealth Destroyer (Zumwalt Class). Cost: $4 Billion.

Item: LOCKED (Tech Level Too Low).

Item: The Poseidon Armada (Future Tech). Cost: $500 Billion.

"Five hundred billion..." Dr. Aris gasped, seeing the hologram. "That's the GDP of Belgium."

"Add to cart," Alex said casually.

[The Arrival]

BOOOOOOM.

The water in the harbor exploded upward. Massive shapes materialized from the digital void.

The Flagship: "The Leviathan Hunter." A 500-meter long "Sky-Carrier." It didn't just float; it hovered ten feet above the water using anti-gravity engines.

The Escorts: Ten "Railgun Destroyers." Sleek, black ships with no windows, armed with electromagnetic cannons capable of hitting a target 200 miles away.

The Sharks: Fifty "Abyssal Submarines." They were silent, fast, and shaped like hammerhead sharks.

The displacement of water sent a wave crashing against the docks. The citizens of Neo-Atlantis ran to the shoreline. They cheered. They had never seen power like this.

"Beautiful," Alex whispered.

[The Bridge of the Leviathan Hunter]

Alex teleported onto the bridge of the flagship. It looked like the cockpit of a spaceship. Holographic screens surrounded the command chair. The crew wasn't human. They were Synthetic Androids (part of the package), moving with perfect efficiency.

"Systems check," Alex ordered.

"Railguns: Online," Dawn reported. "Void Shields: Active. Hyper-Drive Engines: 100%."

Alex sat in the Captain's Chair. He pulled up the map of the Pacific Ocean. A red blinking dot marked Point Nemo—the location of the Council's base where he had met them in Chapter 47.

"They threatened my city," Alex said, his voice amplified over the fleet's comms. "They tried to weaponize my memories."

The engines of the Sky-Carrier hummed. The massive ship began to move, creating a wake that looked like a tsunami.

"Dr. Aris," Alex looked at the scientist. "You said they have controlled the seas for 500 years?"

"Yes, Sir."

"Then today," Alex pushed the throttle forward. "History ends."

[The Pentagon - Satellite Monitoring]

"Sir!" An analyst screamed at The General (Seat 2). "Thermal spike in the Mediterranean! It... it looks like an invasion fleet!"

The General looked at the screen. He saw the Sky-Carrier hovering above the waves. He saw the Railguns. His face went pale.

"That's not a fleet," The General whispered, dropping his cigar. "That's an extermination squad."
