Chapter 1 - The Harvest Season Where the Heart Finds Its Rest

Come along and get to know each other first!

Gather around, everyone! Today, I'm taking you all to meet the characters who will bring fun, joy, and warmth to your hearts right here in these rice fields.

Language in the Story

In this novel, I've incorporated some "Isan dialect" into the dialogues to capture the lively atmosphere and authentic vibe of Si Sa Ket province. But don't worry, my dear readers! I've focused on words that are easy to understand or included translations within the chapters, ensuring a smooth read while you fall in love with the sweetness of Phii Sing and Namping.

Locations in the Story

The places mentioned in this novel carry real location names in Si Sa Ket Province. However, the events, atmosphere, and specific details are purely from my imagination created for entertainment purposes. They do not represent real people or events in the area 100%. Please read and enjoy the heartwarming fun!

The Lead (Uke): Namping (Naphawat), 29 years old

Personality: A true homemaker polite, soft-spoken, and remarkably patient. He is an incredible cook who easily wins over the whole household. But despite his gentle nature, when he needs to be decisive, he turns into a true tigress.

A strong single mother who ran away with his child to heal a broken heart, only to end up becoming the beloved darling of a young combine-harvester owner.

The Lead (Seme): Sing (Sorawat), 34 years old

Personality: A playful combine-harvester driver with a witty demeanor and a great sense of humor. He adores kids, and beneath that playful charm lies a deeply loyal heart! His only flaw is being overly friendly so much so that people often mistake him for being a potential son-in-law in every house around town.

A passionately infatuated man who is more than ready to switch from being drunk on alcohol to being drunk on love for Namping.

Nong Panpan, 3 years old

Personality: A mischievous little boy with a big appetite, talkative, charming, and extremely affectionate. He is the sunshine of Mommy Ping's life and the one who will win over Uncle Sing, turning him into a devoted fan of this little guy.

⚠️ Author's Note

This is a "Healing & Warmth" relationship. It begins with sympathy and affection, gradually blossoming into a love as gentle as the morning sun. The story focuses on healing past wounds and building a complete, loving family together.

Finally, I would like to leave this little family of Namping, Nong Panpan, and the combine-harvester guy, Phii Sing, in all of your caring hearts.

This story doesn't feature fast-paced drama or flashy twists. Instead, I want to invite everyone to "walk slowly alongside the characters," soak up the warmth of the rice fields, listen to the wind rustling through the rice stalks, and watch hearts that were once broken heal and grow strong again. There's no rush to finish reading just stopping by to rest your weary heart at Ban I-So on a tiring day is enough to make me truly happy.

If you enjoy the story or wish to support Phii Sing and Namping, please consider leaving a heart, following the pen name Miki Sunflower Tawan, or dropping a comment to chat. Every bit of support means the world to me.

May you find happiness in

this warm harvesting season!
