Chapter 95 - Chapter 92 - Succubus Maid (1/2)

Chapter 92 - Succubus Maid (1/2)

Kurumu pushed open the door to her room, and Tsukune, still in his bat form, flew out from the nest of her cleavage. The shift was instantaneous, one moment he was a tiny, winged creature nestled between her breasts, the next he was standing in the center of her room, his human form solidifying as his feet touched the floor.

His eyes scanned the space briefly, taking in the chaos that was Kurumu's domain. The bed was unmade, sheets twisted into knots, pillows scattered like casualties of a pillow fight. Clothes were draped over every available surface, chairs, the desk, even the windowsill. A collection of fashion magazines formed a precarious tower on the nightstand, threatening to topple at the slightest disturbance.

Calling this succubus's room a disaster zone wouldn't be wrong. It was exactly what you would expect from a teenage girl left alone in the Yokai Academy Dorms, with no parental supervision and absolutely no motivation to keep things tidy when it was more convenient to grab clothes from the floor.

Makeup brushes scattered across her study desk like a miniature forest of bristles. A half-open suitcase spilled lingerie onto the floor in a cascade of lace and silk. A pair of heels lay discarded near the door, one on its side, the other pointing accusingly at the ceiling.

"Has someone been on a frontline or something?" he asked while his voice was true sarcasm. "Or is this just the natural state of a succubus's habitat?"

He stood in the center of it all, and his eyes drifted downward. A pink bra lay on the floor not far from where he was standing. Quite the bold model, he noted, with intricate lace and a cut that suggested it was designed for maximum impact.

'Sexy bra, who am I to say no.'

Kurumu's eyes went wide as she saw what he was holding. Her face heated, and she lunged forward, snatching the bra from his hand with the speed of a striking snake.

"Give me that!" she exclaimed, her voice pitched up with embarrassment. She clutched the garment to her chest, her cheeks burning. "I was going to put that away! I just... I got distracted, okay?"

"Uh-huh," Tsukune replied, his tone skeptical but he wasn't taking it seriously. "Sure you did."

"I did!"

She stuffed the garment behind her back, then began darting around the room, grabbing clothes and shoving them into the suitcase with frantic energy.

"Please, just... sit down and let me handle this," she said, her voice strained. "I'll have this place spotless in five minutes. Maybe ten. Just don't look at anything."

Tsukune chuckled, but he did as she asked, lowering himself onto the edge of her bed.

A pair of jeans went in, followed by three blouses, a skirt, and what looked like a swimsuit that had somehow ended up under the bed.

She moved with the desperation of someone trying to hide a crime scene, and only after she thought the room was clean, somewhat, decent, she turned to face Tsukune and exclaimed with genuine fear of rejection.

"I'm so sorry about the mess!"

"I wasn't expecting guests tonight... I mean, if I knew you were coming, of course the room would be spotless for you. Hopefully, I didn't make it worse and—"

"Kurumu." His voice was gentle, cutting through her rambling like a knife through butter. "Breathe, honey."

She took a shaky breath, her shoulders sagging with relief. "Right. Breathing. I can do that."

He smiled, the expression softening his features. "You're thinking too much about me looking down on you. I don't care about the mess. Not that much as long is not a pigsty. I came here to spend time with you, have some of your cooking and maybe more. Not to judge your organizational skills."

Her blush deepened, but her beautiful smile broke through. "You're too kind for me, Tsukune-kun."

"I'm not kind. I'm just honest. Besides, who am I to judge you? At least my feet aren't sticking on the floor."

She laughed, the sound bright and unguarded. "That's the same thing, dummy."

"Maybe. But I can tell you that I've seen worse. Like a nightmare, yours don't make into top 10 of nightmare dorm rooms." He shrugged, his eyes scanning the room again.

'Of course, this was back in my University years.'

"So, what's for tonight? You promised me a meal, and I'm holding you to it."

Her eyes lit up with excitement. The panic of the mess was forgotten, replaced by the joy of having him here, in her space, in her life. "Right! Follow me, Goshujin-sama!"

She led him to a small alcove that served as a kitchenette. It was surprisingly well-equipped for a dorm room, a tiny stove with two burners, a miniature refrigerator running softly in the corner, and a counter cluttered with an assortment of cooking utensils. A set of mismatched pots hung from a rack above the sink, and a collection of spices lined the windowsill.

She moved with practiced ease, her hands finding ingredients without hesitation. She grabbed a block of guanciale from the fridge, a wedge of pecorino cheese, and a carton of eggs, arranging them on the counter and from his observation he could tell she was accustomed to this place as she grabbed ingredients from the fridge, and arranged them on the counter.

"I hope you're hungry," she said, her voice bright with enthusiasm. "I'm making my specialty. Can you guess by chance what I'll make you?"

"Amaze me. Could it be a steak?"

"Far better. Midnight pasta. It's my go-to comfort food when I'm hungry and I'm in no mood to cook. Ahh, since you were a human, you should be familiar with Carbonara."

"Carbonara? Hmmm, I do know it myself since I take care of my cooking. Want me to help you around?"

"Goshujin-sama, you should let your maid cook for you."

"Alright, I'll stay put and just watch."

He leaned against the counter, crossing his arms as he watched her work. She moved with surprising confidence for someone who had just been panicking about a messy room. Her hands were steady as she sliced the guanciale into thin strips.

He noticed the small details, the way she set aside the egg whites in a separate bowl. "Will you discard the egg whites?"

She glanced back at him, a playful grin spreading across her face. "Nooo! That is so wasteful. I'll use them for some amaretti biscuits. I thought we could have something sweet after the pasta. It's always good for digestion."

'Smart move. She's more skilled than I thought.'

He watched as she dropped the guanciale into a pan, the fat rendering and filling the room with a rich, savory aroma.

She worked the pecorino into a creamy paste with the egg yolks.

In this moment, she was acting truly like a proper maid out there. The frilly apron, the short skirt, the white stockings that clung to her legs, the optics were totally different than usual.

"I have to admit," he said, his voice low, "the maid outfit is a nice addition to the vibe."

She glanced back at him, a playful grin spreading across her face. "I thought you'd like it, Goshujin-sama. I figured I should make the most of it since I already had to wear it for that bastard."

"Smart thinking. Though I have to warn you, seeing you in that outfit might give me ideas."

Her grin widened, her amethyst eyes gleaming with mischief. "What kind of ideas, Goshujin-sama?"

"Of course, exploratory. The touchy one."

She laughed, the sound warm and inviting. "Then I'll have to make sure I'm prepared for your exploration."

She turned back to the stove, her hips swaying hypnotically as she moved between the counter and the pot. The maid outfit's skirt was impossibly short, riding up with each step she took.

The white stockings clung to her legs, and the frilly apron did little to hide the generous curves of her body. Since it was only herself and Tsukune, she let her succubus tail peak out from beneath the hem, its spade tip swaying gently.

'She's doing this on purpose. That sway is too dangerous for normal minds. Could it be that she's using her ability to charm me?'

'Na, I don't smell yoki around. This is all natural, and it's working. I am falling to temptation.'

He watched her cook, his eyes tracing the lines of her body as she moved. She had always been beautiful, but there was something different about her now cooking for him, apart from being the intimate gesture, he was seeing a new side of Kurumu that he didn't know.

Crossing the small distance between them, his arms smoothly wrapped around her waist, his chest pressing against her back as he looked down at her. His chin rested on her shoulder, and he could feel the warmth of her body seeping through the thin fabric of her maid outfit.

"You know,"

"Watching you cook like this, in that outfit, it's making it very hard for me to focus on the food." he said, his breath ghosting against her ear.

She shivered, jolly at his touch but she also wanted to finish her job to impress Tsukune, wanted to show him that she wasn't just a pretty face or a willing body.

Her hands paused over the pot. "Goshujin-sama, you're going to distract me."

"Don't mind me, you can lower the heat and let the fat render slowly for a richer taste. Until the pasta is done, I'll have some snacks from my maid."

His hands wandered, one resting on her hip while the other traced the curve of her waist. He could feel the tension in her body, the way she leaned back into him, her tail curling around his leg. His fingers found the edge of her skirt, and he gave her cheeks a playful squeeze through the thin fabric.

She gasped, her cheeks flushing an even deeper shade of crimson. "Tsukune! I'm trying to cook!"

"And you're doing a wonderful job, honey." His voice was low, warm, filled with amusement. "I'm just appreciating the preview of the food I will gulp down."

She swatted his arm playfully, but there was no force behind it. Her body betrayed her, pressing closer to him, enjoying the contact. He could feel her heart racing through the thin fabric of her maid outfit, the rapid rhythm matching his own.

"If you continue like this the food will burn," she protested weakly.

"Just a little more." His hand grew more daring, resting on her backside, teasing her through the fabric. "You still love me doing this to you."

"Mmmm~" The sound escaped her lips before she could stop it, a soft, involuntary moan that she quickly tried to stifle by biting her lower lip.

He was impossible, absolutely impossible, and yet, in face of such an embarrassing and hot moment, she loved every second of it.

She didn't deny the closeness, in fact she was thriving on this sexual energy building around them as a Succubus.

"See?" he whispered, his lips brushing against the curve of her neck. "You're enjoying this as much as I am."

Letting out a shaky exhale, her hands resuming their work on the pasta. He continued to hold her, his chin resting on her shoulder, his eyes watching the way she moved. The playful teasing had shifted to a more intimate one as he pressed a kiss on her neck.

He could control his thirst for blood as he was this close with the source of power, even as a newly sired Vampire, he was past the stage of danger where he could degenerate into a Ghoul.

Another kiss, this one lower, just above her collarbone. She bit her lip harder, her hands trembling slightly as she stirred the pasta. Her tail tightened around his leg, a silent plea for more.

"Tsukune..."

"Mhm?"

"Don't stop."

His lips curved into a smile against her skin. He obliged, pressing another kiss to her neck, this one more insistent.

Kurumu was silently enjoying the kisses on her exposed body parts.

She moaned, a soft, breathy sound, before biting her lips to stifle it, her amethyst eyes already started to give light to heartshape forms in her irises. It was too much. He was too much.

He must have noticed her reaction because he chuckled and said in that teasing voice of his "Why are you fighting to suppress it? I love hearing you release the pressure."

He pressed one more kiss to her skin, this one right at the juncture of her neck and shoulder, then captured her lips in a kiss.

The kiss was gentle at first, exploring, tasting. Then she melted into him, her hands finally abandoning the wooden spoon as she turned in his arms to face him fully. Her fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him closer, her lips parting to deepen the kiss.

When they finally broke apart, she was breathless, her cheeks flushed, her eyes shining with the heartshapes more condensed.

After a few moments, he gave her backside one more gentle squeeze before stepping back, giving her space to finish the meal. "I should let you focus before I burn your kitchen down."

"You're cruel, Goshujin-sama. After teasing this succubi maid of yours in a mess."

"Let's enjoy some food, the night is still long."

She laughed, waving a hand at her face to cool herself down. "Urghhh, what if I turn off the stove? I am far tastier than the pasta."

"Tempting, but it would be a waste of ingredients. Why are you in such a rush to serve your Master? What a slutty maid I got."

"It's all because of the teasing."

Looking at Tsukune's handsome face, there was some shade of embarrassment and excitement in his cheeks too, but he was more in control of his body. Since she was now his Maid, she could only dejectedly comply with the orders, food first then she'll serve him the desert herself.

She turned back to the stove, her hands still trembling slightly as she checked on the pasta. The Carbonara was almost done, the sauce thick and creamy, the guanciale perfectly crisp. She plated it with care, adding a sprinkle of fresh pecorino and a twist of black pepper.

"Burning the kitchen would be a disaster, wouldn't it? My first night with you, and you set my room on fire."

"Pretty much we'll get caught if we start smoking your room down."

He settled back against the counter, watching her as she finished the pasta. The heat from the stove made her cheeks glow, and a few strands of blue hair had escaped from her loose ponytail, framing her face. She was beautiful, and for a moment, he found it difficult to look away.

"Remember how you wanted to know how I met with Rachnera-senpai right after she left you alone?"

Her ears perked up at the shift in subject. "Of course I am curious about how you and Rachnera-san know each other."

He reached into the shadows, his fingers brushing against the edge of his Annihilation Maker's inventory feature. It was a trick he had tinkered with since his System didn't offer such access, a pocket dimension where he could store objects for later use. He withdrew a bottle of wine, its label faded from being forcefully aged using one of the Sacred Gear trinkets he created that could age certain small objects.

In fact, as his mastery over Annihilation Maker grew, he discovered that he wasn't just limited to creating Yu-Gi-Oh Monster Cards just because he was too familiar with them and had easier time imagining things, no, he could also use his general imagination along with a concept and try his luck out.

Then, with a casual flick of his wrist, he used his Hemomancy. A thin stream of blood extended from his fingertip, slipped beneath the cork, and popped it free with a soft thud. He poured himself a glass, the deep red liquid catching the dim light.

"What? Do you want some?"

Kurumu blinked, her eyes widening. "Tsukune, we're not allowed alcohol in the Academy."

"Pfff, should tell that to Nonko and her Shuten Doji Moonshine that can put you to sleep from alcohol poisoning." He took a sip, savoring the rich, earthy flavor. "It's fine if you don't want to. I am still adjusting to life as a Vampire, so wine is just an addition to the whole package of trauma."

She hesitated for a moment, then relented. "Fine. But just a small glass."

She poured herself a modest amount, then returned to the stove, stirring the pasta with practiced ease. "Well, about your story on how you've met Rachnera-senpai?"

"For that, I'll have to share with you the story of how I spent my first days in the dorm. Trying to survive as a mere human in a Supernatural World filled with monsters and demons."

Tsukune started tracking back to his first day in the Yokai Academy, how scared he was in fact of the whole situation but still in a state of mind that if he died it's no problem, he'll be back in his old room in his first life. His first night in the dorm, the chaos it brought, and with amusement while swirling the wine glass, he told the succubus maid who finally allowed herself a glass of wine.

He leaned back against the counter, the wine glass cradled in his palm. "The guys' dorm is a mess compared to you girls. We don't have someone like Mother Vanga commanding discipline, so it's left in a state of decay."

He swirled the wine, watching the liquid cling to the glass. "With decay you can also expect lots of mold and pests. Oh, and plenty of those annoying Uwan cockroaches."

Kurumu shuddered, her nose wrinkling in disgust. "I know them, they're the worst."

"Ahh a comrade in suffering. As you know, you can't sleep while those roaches are moving around in the room. Their noise and smell is too much to take, so like any normal human back then I tried to get rid of them."

"From word of mouth, it took me asking around the guys who knew of someone collecting spiders."

He paused, taking another sip. "They pointed me straight into the Widow's attention."

Kurumu set down the spoon, turning to face him fully. "Wait, so you just... asked around? And someone just told you about Rachnera-senpai?"

"The rumor mill is a powerful tool. And the guys were more than happy to share information about a 'freaky spider girl' who might be able to help with my pest problem." He shrugged. "I didn't have many options. I was a human surrounded by monsters. I had to take risks to solve my problems while putting on a poker face."

Kurumu's brow furrowed as she processed the information. "So it was just... coincidence? You needed help with roaches, and she happened to be the one who could provide it?"

"But it doesn't explain her interest in you."

"Come on, you know why. No reason to play it dumb with me. You were also like this back when we met. The human smell is too irresistible."

Kurumu felt the heat rise to her face. She quickly turned back to the stove. "That's... that's different. I wasn't stalking you to begin with, back then I was just... trying to get ahead of Moka.'

"I am a petty bitch since she was stealing all of the spotlight by being cute and all of that, so I wanted to claim the cherry on top before she could do it."

"Heh, so I am the cherry on top."

She swatted his arm playfully, the blow light and teasing. "Don't tease me! You know what I felt back then."

"Always twisting my words around."

He laughed, the sound warm and genuine. "I'm just saying what I hear. Can't help it if you keep revealing your secrets."

"Shut up and drink your wine, Goshujin-sama."

Still being a master at changing subjects and entertaining his girls, Tsukune inquired about some rather plain discussion points.

"So," he said, breaking the comfortable silence, "tell me something about yourself. Something I don't know."

She paused, her hand hovering over the pot. "Something you don't know?"

"Like, what's your favorite color?"

She laughed again. "That's such a simple question, Goshujin-sama. But I'll indulge you. Purple."

"That's... who would have thought. Like your eye color."

"Just say you're adoring my eyes."

She stirred the pasta in the pan with the cream, and so far no mistakes even with the carbonara cream, she didn't butcher one of the sacred recipes of the Italian Cuisine that so many foreigners have been butchering.

Yet, his eyes naturally drifted downward, captured by her swaying hips.

"But you said something you don't know," she continued, her voice dropping to something more serious. "How about this... Should I tell you why I don't hate humans like the other Yokai?

He blinked, caught off guard. "If it's not a sensible subject, you got my attention."

She set down the spoon, her expression softening. "When I was younger I spent my childhood in the human world, attending human schools, much like Moka. I did make some friends but once my powers began awakening, I unconsciously was using it to attract more attention, mainly from guys and teachers."

By this point her expression soured a lot, as she continued. "It got to a point where it was dangerous for those around me, and that's also when I discovered how deranged some humans could be when it came to hunting 'monsters'."

"I did nothing wrong while in the human world, I was out with my girls shopping for clothes when those idiots got hostile with me. They were part of an organisation called Utsusemi Agency who later on after my mother informed me was under the Himejima Clan."

"With no option now that I was under the radar of the monster hunters, my mother had no choice but to enroll me into the Yokai Academy. In a sense, you might say it is the last bastion for a normal school life for us Yokais."

"But, if you ask me if I hate humans, my answer will remain the same. I don't hate humans because I know that just my encounter with humans doesn't mean all of them are bad. You're the prime example of a hugging bear, ahem, Goujushin-sama."

"That's a story with a mixed bag of emotions. Thanks for sharing some of your backstory with me, Kurumu. Really beautiful out there."

Her cheeks flushed, and she quickly turned back to the stove. "It's nothing, you're also opened up to me about your secret, being a human and all of that."

The silence stretched between them, comfortable and warm like two newly weds that made Kurumu try hard to not overreact. Was it because of the wine?

He watched her cook, and she felt his gaze on her skin like a tangible thing. When she finished, she set a plate of steaming carbonara pasta in front of him.

"Here you go, Goshujin-sama," she said, her voice soft. "One plate of midnight pasta, prepared with extra love."

He took a bite, and wasn't disappointed, finding the rich and creamy texture and flavor of the carbonara memorable. In fact this was the first time in his second life as Tsukune that he was eating Carbonara, and you might say that Kurumu's version was truly top top.

À la carte.

"This is actually really good."

"Did you expect anything less?"

He smiled, the expression genuine. "No, but you worried me for a second when you started breaking the eggs. I thought you were about to put them whole. It's delicious, you made it, after all."

Her blush deepened. She sat down across from him, her own plate untouched as she watched him eat. Her heart was pounding, her mind racing with everything she wanted to say.

Finally, she spoke. "Tell me about your world, Tsukune-kun. The human world. What was it like for you?"

He paused, his fork hovering over his plate. It was a question that required careful thought since he didn't want to mix the memories of his first life with the memories and emotions he inherited from Tsukune.

"What was it like for me, you ask? When you think about it, it is far easier in many aspects. Since I was a normal human, my life was normal. My Sacred Gear awakened only after coming here to the Yokai Academy, so I wasn't frequently scouted by any supernatural creature, be it seductive Fallen Angels, curvy Devil Heiresses or charming Yokai Foxes."

"Truly, it feels awkward trying to describe my life, but this word describes it well enough, I was average at best. Nothing screaming about me being some 'Protagonist' that is about to take the Supernatural World by storm."

"Narcissist much."

"You know whom you're dealing with, Maid-chan."

"However, I do miss my life in the Human World."

"Freedom?"

"Mhm, yeah, it's getting boring being stuck in the same routine. Oh, lucky for us, we're in together with a bunch of lunatics and crazy fucks trying to transform the Academy into their own kingdom."

"Okay, I love learning more about you, Goshujin-sama. Another question. Did you play sports?"

"Sports? A bit. Football. I was never the best, but I enjoyed it. Playing team sports is the best way of making friends if you ever want a switch of scenery."

Kurumu leaned forward, her eyes alight with curiosity. "What else? I know you love reading. What's your favourite genre?"

"I'm a bit of a bookworm myself. The past human me would tell you that horror and mystery would be my cup of tea, but recently I got hooked into demonology. Mainly trying to discover what other artifacts are lingering unclaimed in the Library that have the touch of the Devils on them."

"What about you, Kurumu? What do you like?"

She blinked. "Me?"

"Yeah, you don't expect to turn this into an 'Interview with a Vampire 2.0', though, I think I am better than Louis and Lestat in all categories."

"So, behind the Succubus mask, the games, the seduction. Who is Kurumu Kurono?"

She was quiet for a moment, her hand still resting on his. When she spoke, her voice was so soft he almost couldn't hear it.

"I liked... Ballet. When I was a little girl I saw a performance when I got to accompany my mother to Paris. But, as I got older and grew up my body was no longer fit for Ballet. Later on I got hooked by fashion shows, again influenced by the work of my mother, and currently my goal is to be a great wife to my husband to be one of the greatest models in the world.

"So humble that it makes me tear up."

"Owww, shut up! Don't make fun of me."

"No, you should try your best. A succubus grasping the Human World on her little pinky, that would be amusing to watch. I support you fully. What husband would I be if I am dismissing the dreams of my girl."

Her eyes glistened with unshed tears. "You really mean that?"

"Why would I say that if I don't mean it?"

She smiled, a broken, beautiful smile that seemed to light up the entire room.

"Tsukune…"

"What is it?"

"I think... I think I might be falling in love with you even more."

"What, you mean you weren't already?"

"You're an idiot, you know that?"

"I heard it a lot, but that's a false statement. Also, if I am an idiot, you're the one who fell in love with me, so what does that say about you?"

She didn't answer, instead, she squeezed his hand.

"We should take this to the bed, Goshujin-sama," she said, her voice soft. "Unless you'd rather stay here?"

"Wasn't I supposed to get some cookies too?"

"I'll show you a better cookie if you follow me to bed."

He rose from his seat, his hand still in hers. "Ahh, that was smooth."

"Also, I think I'd rather see where this goes."
