Chapter 2 - Gravitational Wrath

The valley shook under the march of the invading army, the horizon smeared with dust and steel. Rocky stood atop the ridge, heart racing—not with fear, but with the unbearable pull of seeing the love of his life leading this onslaught.

"I didn't want it to come to this," he muttered, fists clenched. His summons gathered around him, restless, sensing the rising conflict.

The air warped. Reality itself seemed to buckle as Rocky stepped forward. "If you want me… then you'll have to face this!"

He slammed his hands to the ground, and the sky above twisted violently. A low hum grew into a deafening roar as space itself seemed to fold. Out of the swirling void, a colossal dragon emerged—its scales black as a black hole, veins of shimmering cosmic energy coursing across its body. Its wings warped gravity, each beat pulling the earth toward it like a tidal force.

"The… Gravitational Force Dragon," the soldiers whispered in terror.

With a roar that rattled mountains, the dragon lunged. Soldiers screamed as the battlefield itself betrayed them—arrows curved mid-flight, ground heaved like liquid, and cavalry stumbled helplessly. Even the love of Rocky's life faltered slightly, taken aback by the raw, almost impossible force.

Rocky's eyes never left hers. "I won't let you take me… not without a fight. And I won't let you harm my home!"

The dragon's tail swept in a deadly arc, sending armored troops flying. Its claws scraped the ground, creating gravity wells that swallowed anything nearby. Rocky could feel the dragon's power resonate through him—his own magic amplified to its legendary peak.

Her voice rang out, sharp and desperate over the chaos. "Rocky… stop! You don't have to do this!"

But the world around them had already changed. With the Gravitational Force Dragon unleashed, there was no turning back. Every beat of its wings, every pulse of gravity, every shimmer of cosmic energy was a declaration: Rocky—the peaceful summoner—was now a force of legend.

And even as the dragon advanced, eyes burning like collapsing stars, the question lingered between them: could love survive in the gravity of war?
