Chapter 3 - chapter 3

"I asked for it casually, yet the result is truly astonishing," Zhu Tian exclaimed inwardly, filled with amazement as he gazed at the magnificent hall before him. His eyes swept over every corner of the structure, from its foundation to the towering roof above. "And I never expected the surrounding mountains to be added as well. This is really incredible," he continued in his thoughts, unable to contain the surge of excitement within him.

After all, Zhu Tian had truly made the request without any expectations at all. He never imagined that the final result would be this grand and captivating. The sight before him far exceeded anything he had ever pictured in his mind.

"This already feels like a sect," Zhu Tian muttered inwardly, "even if it's just a single building."

On the other side, Qin Yuan stood respectfully. His expression was calm, yet beneath that calmness lay a nervousness he couldn't completely hide.

"What do you think, Senior?" Qin Yuan asked in a friendly tone. Though a trace of fear still lingered in his heart, his gaze also carried confidence in the results he had prepared.

Zhu Tian merely nodded lightly in a relaxed manner, as if all of this were only natural to him. Seeing that nod, Qin Yuan felt as though a heavy burden pressing on his chest had finally been lifted. After all, he knew very well that even the slightest mistake could be fatal before someone like Zhu Tian—or at least, that was what he believed.

"Please," Qin Yuan said, raising his hand politely to invite Zhu Tian to ascend the towering stairs before them.

Zhu Tian snapped out of his thoughts. With calm steps, he began walking up the stairs, both hands placed behind his back, displaying the demeanor of a true senior. Qin Yuan followed closely behind, carefully keeping his distance.

As he climbed, Zhu Tian's heart pounded violently, filled with an indescribable excitement. However, not long after—after reaching around three hundred steps—he began to feel an overwhelming exhaustion.

"So long… so exhausting," Zhu Tian complained inwardly, struggling to keep his expression calm and not reveal even the slightest hint of fatigue.

Along the way, his gaze was often drawn to the surrounding scenery. White cranes soared across the blue sky, their wings spread gracefully. In the distance, waterfalls cascaded down from the mountains, producing a soothing, murmuring sound.

"It feels like heaven," Zhu Tian thought, utterly mesmerized.

Meanwhile, Qin Yuan grew increasingly confused. "Why doesn't Senior just fly up and land directly?" he wondered inwardly. Zhu Tian's behavior was truly difficult to understand. Even so, Qin Yuan did not dare ask any questions. He remained silent, following behind without complaint.

As time passed, Qin Yuan's condition worsened instead. His face grew paler, and his breathing became increasingly uneven. Yet he endured, forcibly suppressing the pain gnawing at his body.

Finally, after three hours of nonstop walking, they reached the summit. Zhu Tian was slightly out of breath, but he showed none of it. He immediately put on a calm expression, like a senior completely unaffected by the long journey.

At the peak, a magnificent gate welcomed them. Massive pillars stood firmly on both sides, their surfaces carved with images of cranes flying across mountains. The carvings appeared so vivid that they seemed capable of moving at any moment.

Once past the gate, Qin Yuan saw the main building positioned right at the center of the area. The structure was enormous and majestic. Surrounding it were vast open lands. Yet those lands were not truly empty—there were ponds, rocks, and natural formations arranged in a way that felt perfectly harmonious.

After taking in the surroundings with awe, Zhu Tian walked toward the main building. Before long, he arrived at the entrance, whose doors were far larger and taller than his body—perhaps even ten times his height.

Zhu Tian pushed open the massive doors and stepped inside.

Within, another breathtaking scene greeted him. The main hall was immense, located at the very center of the colossal structure. At the four corners of the hall stood enormous pillars supporting the roof, each intricately carved with dragons and phoenixes so detailed they looked almost alive.

"Incredible… they look alive," Zhu Tian thought in admiration. A faint smile unconsciously appeared on his face. "No, I can't get too excited."

He quickly suppressed those feelings. After all, he was currently acting as a senior. Glancing slightly behind him, he observed Qin Yuan. The man didn't look well—his face was pale, and his breathing sounded chaotic.

At the very front of the hall stood a large and spacious seat.

"Come to think of it, this could even be used as a bed," Zhu Tian exclaimed inwardly.

He walked forward slowly and sat down on the seat.

"Amazing… truly amazing," he said in his heart as excitement surged once again. His heart pounded intensely.

"Senior," Qin Yuan called out respectfully, bowing deeply.

That call snapped Zhu Tian back to reality. He immediately suppressed his excitement and put on a calm expression.

Zhu Tian looked at Qin Yuan, who was still bowing. "From his posture, it feels like he's congratulating me… but congratulating me for what?" Zhu Tian wondered inwardly. Still, he didn't think too deeply about it.

"Raise your head," Zhu Tian said flatly, his tone full of authority.

Qin Yuan followed the instruction. He said nothing, simply standing there quietly as he awaited further orders.

Seeing this, Zhu Tian felt a slight sense of awkwardness.

In his heart, Zhu Tian began to think, "Right now, I don't know anything about cultivation, the cultivation world, or even this planet."

After considering for a moment, Zhu Tian began asking various questions.

Hearing these questions, Qin Yuan sometimes looked confused, sometimes hesitant. Still, he explained everything to the best of his ability.

After three full hours of explanation, Zhu Tian finally began to gain a basic understanding of this world and its cultivation system.

Remembering that Qin Yuan was injured, Zhu Tian made a decision.

"You may go and recover," Zhu Tian said casually.

"Yes, Senior," Qin Yuan replied with a hint of relief. He bowed respectfully once more, then turned and left.

Zhu Tian sank back into his thoughts.

"My current location is on the Eastern Continent. More precisely, Wind Hill. The Eastern Continent is a fifth-tier cultivation continent, inhabited by fifth-tier sects. This planet is divided into five continents, and the place I'm in right now is the lowest tier."

He let out a soft snort.

"Huu… this really is a classic reincarnation novel plot."
