Chapter 325 - Chapter 325: Hanachirusato and Yae Miko

After bidding farewell to Ioroi, the Great Sacred Sakura Exorcism continued proceeding in an orderly fashion.

After handling the catalysts, they arrived at Mt. Yougou to deal with the final large tumor.

The final cleanup was handled by the Shura Anyakonsen-shou testing out his new technique to harvest it.

The absolute thrust brought by the Anemo drill, combined with the Electro damage from the Gnosis to spread outward.

How should one put it… When he started drilling, he felt a bit like a hundred-ton king.

Filth had no sense of pain.

They were not having an easy time either.

When he drilled through, he had even thought it was a speed bump.

Just leave it to his Gnosis.

He had worked so hard, so why was this filth still alive?

They were all struggling with all their might to stay alive.

In short, the first time he did not control the force well, he only opened a small hole in the filth below Mt. Yougou, just like using an embroidery needle to stab a mouse.

After realizing that the penetration was sufficient but the damage was too low, he could only penetrate it several more times. There was no other way — filth had no sense of pain.

Only by thoroughly annihilating it could the citizens of Inazuma feel at ease.

This made Miss Hanachirusato, who was standing beside the Raiden Shogun, feel somewhat afraid for a moment.

It was too brutal. Just watching it made one feel pain.

Every time that large filth tumor was penetrated, it would tremble violently, feeling just like indigestion.

It would have been better to let the Raiden Shogun finish it with one clean slash.

"Alright, looks like it's been cleaned up."

The Shura Anyakonsen-shou looked at the area below Mt. Yougou that had turned into a lush green wonderland, wiped the sweat from his forehead, and felt that this warm-up session had been pretty good.

"Miss Hanachirusato, next I'll take you to the Grand Narukami Shrine. We can head up directly from here."

And so, the Shura Anyakonsen-shou brought his Divinity Tutoring Class over to the Grand Narukami Shrine.

He also saw Yae Miko, who had been waiting for quite some time.

The Shura Anyakonsen-shou was not puzzled by this situation.

He was quite curious. In the past, who usually performed the minor Sacred Sakura Exorcisms? Not everyone could use the Lesser Lord Kusanali as a memento mirror like he could, right?

Yae Miko looked at the somewhat restrained Hanachirusato with an extremely complicated gaze.

Her current feeling was exactly the same as when she had first seen the Raiden Shogun.

The difference was that Kitsune Saiguu, that trashy fox, had truly left. Ei had shut herself away, but could still be pulled back.

Yae Miko looked at Hanachirusato for a long while, and in the end only asked one question.

"She… did she leave any last words in the end?"

Miss Hanachirusato was silent for a while, and finally recounted that segment of final words in Kitsune Saiguu's tone…

"This shallow and ordinary life, I consider myself to have lived it quite fully.

I once, in the form of a Hakushin fox, ran across the grasslands and mountains of Narukami together with my clever and adorable retainers.

I hope that, after everything ends, they can once again run joyfully…"

Then she recounted a segment belonging to Kitsune Saiguu's memories from before her death.

Every old friend she had met, as well as the citizens she encountered in Inazuma, the children she had teased, and the advice she had given to the Raiden Shogun…

[Do not be deceived, do not waver, and always walk the path you firmly believe in.]

And the final last words she left behind…

"So, the pitch-black will that gnaws at me, now that I have lost all my strength, my Hakushin blood is yours to spill as you please.

But even from my humble position, I still hope that you can listen to my request…

If you can see the things I cherish, then please forgive those living beings.

If you grant me one wish, please return my eternally bright memories to this land I love.

I hope that in this way, after your ravaging, there will still be beautiful things left behind…"
