Chapter 35 - Chapter 35: Risking Their Lives? The Battle Special Effects Are Insanely Awesome

What appeared next before all the viewers was the aerial battle between the Helios and other warships.

Cannons clashing with cannons, the absolute defense of energy shields…

The entire battle was super sci-fi, firmly capturing the attention of every viewer.

At that moment,

a signal from Schicksal forcefully intruded into the Helios.

Otto Apocalypse appeared on the large screen: "What do you plan to do with this kind of toy, Theresa? Go back obediently. Everyone has a rebellious phase; I won't blame you for your childishness."

Theresa stared straight at him: "Hmph, still as gentle as ever, Grandpa. But…"

She waved her hand forward.

Himeko instantly fired the main cannon that had been charging up.

The energy cannon pierced through the clouds and breached the defenses of Schicksal headquarters.

"This is my answer!"

"This time, I will no longer submit to you!"

Otto Apocalypse merely smiled indulgently.

The communication was then cut off from the Helios side.

At that very moment,

countless flying Honkai beasts assaulted the Helios.

This completely overturned their understanding—in Schicksal headquarters, Honkai beasts should absolutely never appear.

Moreover, their numbers were exaggeratedly high, causing constant damage to the Helios's shield.

In the end, they were forced to shut down the shield.

Himeko took the initiative to sortie, heading to the warship's deck to confront the Honkai beasts.

Not far away,

Fu Hua had been monitoring the situation here.

When she saw the Judgment-class Honkai beast Benares land on the Helios, she immediately took action, deciding to lure it away herself.

Her full armor activated, she charged straight at Benares.

The pained Benares turned and rushed toward Fu Hua.

Himeko asked Theresa in confusion: "What was that beam of light just now? Reinforcements you called?"

Theresa shook her head: "No… it shouldn't be that… Careful! More Honkai beasts are approaching—don't get distracted!"

"Got it!"

Himeko swung her greatsword, once again engaging the Honkai beasts in battle.

As the Honkai beasts kept increasing in number, Himeko alone, along with some forces from the Far East Branch, could no longer hold them off.

"Theresa, you'd better think of a way to control this situation."

"The solution you wanted has arrived, Miss Himeko." The one who responded wasn't Theresa, but Einstein from Anti-Entropy—she was precisely the reinforcements Theresa had called.

Accompanying her voice, more than a dozen mechs landed on the warship's deck.

They set up their cannons and fired a salvo at the swarming flying Honkai beasts.

In just a few minutes, all the Honkai beasts ahead were cleared out.

"The Honkai beasts in the airspace have been cleaned up, Lady Theresa. We can commence operations at any time." Einstein surveyed the warship: "Though, your warship seems quite a bit smaller than before."

Theresa explained: "The Hyperion is still at St. Freya Academy… As you instructed, I'm currently integrating that thing from the Moonlight Throne into its main engine."

"Don't worry. It won't be long before the refitted Hyperion comes to support us."

Einstein said: "Good work. Now, all the actors and props are in place."

After ending the communication with Theresa,

Einstein received a call from Tesla: "Chicken-head, my troops are also in position. But are you sure we should do this? We've mobilized nearly seventy percent of our mechs for this operation. I'm a bit worried about that vixen Cocolia guarding the headquarters."

Einstein replied: "Dr. Tesla, we absolutely cannot let Otto's plan succeed. No matter the cost, we must prevent Honkai from descending again…"

"This is also for that person—and for Anti-Entropy!"

During their conversation, countless mechs had already surrounded Schicksal headquarters and began breaking through from different directions.

Seeing this massive battlefield,

many in the fan groups quickly sent messages: "Holy crap, holy crap, you guys hurry and watch today's Honkai Impact 3rd—this battlefield is way too huge!"

"I've never seen a scene this big even in foreign sci-fi movies. And now you're telling me this is just one episode of a TV drama? Fire Moth company is awesome!"

"I've been watching from the start. Gotta say, although the plot sometimes stabs you in the heart, these grand scenes are really enjoyable to watch!"

"With so many mechs and the backup Theresa arranged, Kiana will definitely be rescued."

"Don't think it's that easy. This is Schicksal headquarters, and Otto seems to have tricks up his sleeve too."

"Enough chatter—let me watch the drama in peace."

The plot continued.

After the group converged,

Einstein informed Theresa that the mech troops had occupied the periphery of the airport and could launch an attack at any time.

Tesla's side had also prepared her mech troops.

Theresa immediately gave the order: "Concentrate all firepower—seize Schicksal headquarters' third airport!"

As a combatant from the Far East Branch,

Himeko was at the forefront, charging into the battle.

Just as both sides entered a stalemate,

countless small artillery fires repelled all the Schicksal troops around Himeko.

She looked up sharply and smiled: "Finally here? Hyperion."

With the Hyperion's addition,

the battle progressed much more smoothly.

Himeko protected Dr. Tesla all the way to the airport's control tower, allowing Tesla to hack in and disable the airport's defenses.

"Two minutes! Give me two minutes, and it'll be done."

"Find a way to hold them off! Oh, and ditch that watermelon knife—you should switch to a weapon more suitable for pest control!"

Tesla pointed at a nearby mech.

Himeko immediately boarded the mech, fighting against the small mechs continuously pouring in from outside.

As time ticked by,

Tesla said triumphantly: "Now it's 1 minute 56 seconds… Done! Defense system disabled!!"

The scene suddenly changed.

Himeko began coughing violently; her hand covering her mouth was stained with blood: "Damn it… really bad timing… Is my time… running out?"

Followed by a wave of dizziness, she could only force herself to stay conscious.

She had to rescue Kiana.

Watching this scene, the audience's hearts skipped a beat. They all had a bad premonition—this damn director wouldn't stab them again, would he?
