Chapter 2 - Titan Behemoth · The True Dragon of Westeros

Jack happily finished a whole box of self-heating hotpot. Even the dried bread soaked in it tasted unbelievably good.

Don't ask why he soaked dried bread—just know that a 500g self-heating hotpot was nowhere near enough to fill him up, and Jack couldn't bear to open a second box.

"Seriously satisfying." Jack stuffed the remaining eleven boxes of self-heating hotpot under the bed.

Jack wasn't worried about rats. The rats on the ship had long since been eaten clean as fresh meat, which meant there were no rats left on the Sea Dog.

After eating and drinking his fill, Jack took out Godzilla's egg. A half-meter-tall blue giant egg appeared on the deck.

Less than three seconds after it appeared, cracks spread across the shell. Then a chubby, Q-version Godzilla appeared in front of Jack.

It looked somewhat plump overall. Jack had never seen a juvenile Godzilla before, so he wasn't sure whether this was normal, but it did look quite cute.

Besides, Godzilla was only the name of the species, not an individual name.

So Jack gave it a name—Poseidon—symbolizing the ruler of the seas, the Sea King Poseidon.

This name sounded far better than Jack's original surname. Jack even renamed himself Jack · Poseidon, changing his surname from Sea Dog to Poseidon.

After all, "Sea Dog" was just too embarrassing.

You couldn't have Jack become successful one day and have someone ask his name—

only for Jack to loudly declare, "I'm Jack · Sea Dog!"

In the world of Game of Thrones, announcing one's name after meeting someone was completely normal, like presenting a résumé. Jack didn't want to embarrass himself in the future.

Jack raised his head and glanced at the Sea Dog's flag. It was said to depict a vicious dog baring its sharp teeth.

Jack believed his father—whom he had never met—truly wanted to sew a ferocious sea dog.

But perhaps his skills weren't very good, because the sea dog on the flag looked more like a pig than a dog.

Patting Poseidon's little head, Jack pointed at the ship's flag. "Can you use Atomic Breath to blast that thing down?"

  "."

Poseidon blinked its tiny eyes. Even though Jack's words didn't really sound like human language, it still opened its mouth and took a deep breath.

A faint blue glow rose from its chest and spine, followed by a blue beam shooting out.

But it lasted for less than a second. Before it could even touch the flag, it dissipated into the air.

A trace of disappointment flashed through Poseidon's small eyes. As a creation of the system, loyalty to Jack had been implanted into it from the moment it was born.

Yet the very first task Jack gave it—it had failed.

Seeing Poseidon's dejected expression, Jack was genuinely surprised.

He had underestimated Poseidon's intelligence, instinctively assuming it was merely a tool created by the system.

But now it seemed that wasn't the case at all. Poseidon had its own emotions and intelligence.

Jack hurriedly rubbed Poseidon's little head and praised it, "Not bad, not bad. You did great!"

If a Titan giant beast like Godzilla were raised without confidence, that would be his fault.

Sure enough, upon hearing Jack's praise, happiness immediately appeared in Poseidon's little eyes.

At that moment, Evelyn slowly walked over, curiously examining Poseidon, wondering why this fellow could also stand on two legs.

Poseidon was also curiously looking at Evelyn. A thread of drool slipped from its mouth, and then it suddenly opened wide, lunging to bite her.

  "Baa—!!!"

The sudden attack scared Evelyn badly. She quickly hid behind Jack, then poked her head out from between his calves to observe Poseidon.

"Poseidon, Evelyn is my childhood betrothed. You can't eat her," Jack said jokingly.

Poseidon nodded when it heard this, indicating that it understood.

It then tried to lift a claw to wipe away the drool, but its arms were far too short to reach its mouth.

Jack stepped forward and wiped the drool away with his sleeve. "You'll need to go catch fish in the sea yourself. The ship only has dried bread—it's vegetarian. You can't eat that."

Poseidon slapped its tail against the deck, then ran to the edge and leapt straight down into the bottomless ocean.

Although the Godzilla clan was also extremely powerful on land, the ocean was their true domain.

Jack wasn't worried about Poseidon getting lost.

As a Godzilla produced by the system, it could perfectly sense the magnetic fields of the Game of Thrones world.

It could also sense Jack's location regardless of distance.

Speaking of the Game of Thrones world—or the A Song of Ice and Fire world—it was impossible not to mention the famous TV series Game of Thrones.

Most people had only watched the TV show and never read the original novels. Jack was the same, though he had some understanding of the books.

He had only watched the TV adaptation. He hadn't read the original novel A Song of Ice and Fire.

From the TV series, it could be seen that the entire plot of Game of Thrones revolved around the power struggles of the continent of Westeros.

The Targaryen dynasty, which had ruled Westeros for three hundred years, was overthrown.

After that, the new dynasty failed to firmly establish itself, plunging Westeros into a multi-sided struggle similar to the Warring States period of ancient Huaxia.

Just on a much smaller scale.

And although Jack thought the first six seasons of the show were extremely exciting, the political intrigue itself wasn't particularly outstanding.

Jack knew that without foresight and modern knowledge, he might not even be better than the native people of Westeros.

But that didn't stop him from calling it "A Song of Assassination and Grass 13."

After all, Jack did have foresight and modern knowledge—and more importantly, Jack was from Huaxia.

He admired his ancestors' political and strategic arts far more, which made him look down on the political schemes in Game of Thrones.

From the memories of his predecessor, when his father went to steal things at the port of Qarth, Daenerys Targaryen—the Mother of Dragons—had not yet arrived there.

In other words, Daenerys hadn't hatched her three young dragons yet, and she was still in Pentos. The main storyline had not yet fully begun.

So next, Jack would face three choices:

The first was to get involved in the power struggles of Westeros. With Jack's foresight, he could gain some benefits and expand his fleet.

However, Westeros placed great importance on bloodline and origin, so the gains would be extremely limited.

The second option was to wait in Slaver's Bay for Daenerys to arrive, then pledge allegiance to her, fish in troubled waters, and expand his fleet.

This approach was quite good. Daenerys's forces were an emerging power, making it easier to enter the center of authority, develop his own strength, and survive Godzilla's growth period.

The final option was the most conventional—act like a normal pirate, slowly plunder and make money, then expand his fleet.

But this path had severe limitations. Relying solely on plunder would inevitably anger the trade city-states of Essos, leading to eventual joint suppression. It would be very difficult to survive Godzilla's development stage this way.

In short, Jack's ultimate goal was to expand his fleet and build a maritime empire.

As for developing on land, Jack had no such plans for now.

In the future, he could establish military bases and colonies in Westeros or Essos.

A certain empire from his previous life—the one on which the sun never set—was an excellent reference.

Moreover, the attributes of the Heart of the Ocean destined Jack to never develop inland. Islands were his best choice.

On the seas, Jack and Poseidon were an invincible existence, slaughtering everything in their path.

Jack was responsible for the "ga ga," and Poseidon was responsible for the "random slaughter."
