Blood was dripping. It was a human's finger. He was tortured very much and very badly. His nails were torn apart, he was hit by something hard, he was punched in the face and kicked in other places several times. It was in the evening. The sun was already down. The boy conciousness returned. He opened his eyes slowly. His eyes were so deep like it could contain the whole earth. He was at least not loved by others, rather he was hated. But why, no one could tell; not even him. Maybe it was fate.
His name is Xenos. He was an orphan, abandoned by everybody. But he never lost hope that someday he will also be loved by others, he will also have friends who cares for him. He only had one true best friend was also like him. His name is Ethan. He is also an orphan.
Xenos got up from the ground where he was laying unconscious a moment ago. It was in a place where people rarely come. He looked very skinny and weak and not very tall. He used all his strength to pull himself up because of that torture he had to face. He walked to the road and called a cab. The driver saw his condition and quickly started for the hospital. On the way the driver asked,"Hey boy, how did you ended up liked that. Looks like you were beaten so badly. Did you encounter some thugs on the road."
Xenos didn't reply nor he had the energy to. The driver understood the situation and started driving faster. Soon he was at the hospital. After treating his wounds his body was full of bandages. He was living by himself. He had a part time job which he got by because the store manager was kind and understood his situation. But the jobs money was barely enough for him to live. He had to give school fee. He only had two meals a day, sometimes one. After all the hard times he did not drop out of school, because he wanted to make friends and had a dream to become rich someday. But that became his nightmare. He was bullied in school by his classmate. Once he planned to drop out. But the bullies were so ruthless that they threated him if he drop out his life will be ten times more miserable. So he endured all the tortures.
The nigh fell. He came to his home which looked worse than a dogs house. He didn't have any bed, only a torn mattress. As soon as he laid down he fell asleep with bandages in his hand, head and other places. He did not wash up nor he had the energy to.
In the morning he woke up from sleep."Uhh...Is it already mourning. Wait, its already 10. Shit.. I have to quickly go to school or those bustards will beat me to death again."
He class starts at 10:15 am. After having a bath with the bandeges he got ready and left for school. In his way everyone was staring at him while others feeling sorry for him.
After arriving at his class he saw those faces, those who were responsible for his current condition. Five boys were chating in beside the window in the classroom. One of them was slightly handsome and muscular. His name was Arek, the other fore were his lackey. They glazed at Xenos. After giving an evil smile they turned away. The other classmates looked at Xenos. They weren't surprised at his condition. Not only they but also the teachers the head master and everybody single person knew, but they said nothing. Because Arek was the son of the general of their country and his family was one of the best martial arts family in the country. Besides who would stand up for an orphan. Even the kind one's did not dare.
Although Xenos was poor, his school is one of the reputable school in his country. His country is Volten, a mid level country in earth. He was good at studies and got scholarship.
After class the bullies told him to come to the roof. He went there and saw them. "You're late you son of a bit*h", said Arek."I'm sorry. My leg is hurting from yesterday's.....", he didn't mention the reason."Haa... Would you look at that. The dog got it's leg hurt", said one of the boy and kicked his leg. He was in unbearable pain."Beat him", said Arek. They beat him again and left. They didn't feel a single bit of petty for him.
After getting up he went to the park where he met Ethan. Ethan saw him and was extremely angry, an anger that was beyond measure."Those fucking bustards. They dare again... I will kill them", said Ethan with an angry voice."Don't worry. I'm fine. And don't get involve with them ever." But Ethan didn't want to listen and wanted to beat them very much."But if you let it be they will do it again", Ethan said.
"They have a very powerful background. It is wise not to mess with them", Xenos said."But..." Ethan tried to protest but Xenos interrupted him,"No but. My leg hurts. So, I'm going home", saying that he went for his home.
Ethan was standing there with cold eyes. He will not forgive those bustards. He started walking for somewhere.
Xenos came back home. He rented this house. The rent wasn't much given the house's condition. But still it was hard for him with everything. After studying he went for sleep.
In the mourning he got a call in his phone."Hello, who is it?", he asked."Are you Ethan's friend?", asked the voice. He replied in the affirmative."Your friend is terribly injured. He had a car accident. I don't think he can survive. He wanted to see you in his last time and told me to call you. Please come to the city hospital quickly."
His world shattered. He was so very shocked. He rushed to the hospital instantly.
He arrived at the hospital and went straight to the room where Ethan was. He looked at his friend full of bandages from head to toe. Xenos's body was trembling. After calming himself down he went inside the room.
Ethan was awake."You fucking bustard, what the hell did got yourself into," Xenos said containing his emotions. He sat beside Ethan and became quite.
Ethan knew he was pretending like everything will be fine. Ethan tried to talk but Xenos said," Don't talk now, we will talk after you get better."
" You don't have to act. You already know that I don't have much time left. I wanted to see you for the last time," Ethan said with all his might.
Xenos was quite. He didn't wanted to belive what was happening. He wished it was a nightmare and wanted to wake up. But deep down he knew it was reality.
" You have to walk the remaining path without me buddy," Ethan said.
"Why, why, why... just fucking why do I have to suffer like this. I just wanted a happy and normal life. I didn't ever have any bad intention for anyone. I didn't do anything wrong. Rather I was always looked down upon, always bullied and tortured. I was thrown away after birth. But I didn't complain. I just have one fuckin best friend and now he is also leaving me alone forever. Just why the fuck is it always me," Xenos couldn't contain his emotions anymore. So he let everything out while crying.
Ethan knew he was suffering very much and he knew his life was coming to the end. "I'm sorry. I couldn't be by your side. I'm really really sorry," Ethan continued while crying, " But you have to stay strong... no, you have to grow strong. Don't end up like me. You have to live for yourself. Don't give up ever. Please live my buddy... please...". He stopped at he shut his eyes, or rather he was gone. Ethan was dead. Xenos's only best friend and only one he considered family was no more.
" Oi bustard, oi wake up. Waakeee uuppp," he started shouting like crazy. The nurse came in and said," I'm sorry sir. But he is no more."
"N-No, no, please no, not him too, please at least not him god, please I don't want anything ever again. Please just give him back," saying this he let out a huge cry, "Noooooooooooooooooooo."
But he knew nothing can be changed. Ethan was already gone.
He felt like his soul was torn apart. Even the people of the hospital was feeling his sorrow.

The next day the sun rose. He woke up. His eyes were cold, indifferent. In the previous day he just buried his best friend and he was the only one who was present at Ethans funeral. He made the grave himself. At least he wanted to send his friend in peace.
Besides he learned a shocking truth. Though his friend was died by car accident, the nurse said he was beaten very badly before the accident. So he lost control and couldn't got out from in front of the car.
Xenos could guess everything clearly about who beat Ethan up. It was definitely Arek.
But Xenos didn't got angry. Instead there was a cold smile in his face. He was not sad any more, because he knew his friend is at peace and don't have to suffer in this merciless world. But Xenos will not forgive anyone. Not anymore and not a single one. He was never the weak one. Instead he wanted to make a good relationship with everyone. But that cost him his friends life. What is gone can not be change. But he will change. Change beyond anyone's imagination. Never in his existence, he will tolerate anymore. He will become something unbounded.
