Chapter 46 - “Accomplish the Greatest Deeds Under Heaven; Cultivate the Supreme Art of the Mortal World!”

After seeing Kamisato Ayato's reward, Lyney suddenly didn't feel like drawing his own consolation prize anymore.

Trading one point for a drink that failed basic hygiene standards…

Just thinking about it made his scalp tingle.

"You go ahead," Ayato said, putting the bottle of Lei Bi away and stepping aside to give Lyney the spot.

That made Lyney stare at him in disbelief.

"You're… actually keeping that thing?"

"What are you planning to do with it?"

"I'll take it back and leave the decision to Her Excellency," Ayato replied calmly.

He truly didn't want it, but recalling how the Raiden Shogun seemed oddly fond of strange and novel items last time, Ayato decided to bring it back anyway and let her decide its fate.

[Raiden Ei]: The Yashiro Commission has done well.

[Yae Miko]: Why are you bringing back that piece of junk?

[Raiden Ei]: What do you think?

[Yae Miko]: I'm going to Liyue. Goodbye.

Yae Miko was genuinely upset.

Do you have any dignity as a god left at all…

This was unbearable—Inazuma was no longer livable.

She was packing up and heading straight to Liyue. At least Ganyu's place was safe.

"…Sigh."

Lyney pulled the lever without even bothering to look. At this point, it was bound to be trash anyway.

"Huh—this one's actually pretty good."

Valerius's surprised voice made Lyney look back again.

What fell out was a roll of red paper, tightly wrapped into a cylinder. Whatever was written on it couldn't be seen yet.

"What is it?" Lyney asked.

Valerius walked over and patted him on the shoulder.

"Kid, not bad at all. This is a pair of couplets."

"Couplets? Like the ones from Liyue?"

Lyney knew about those—traditional decorations from Liyue.

But… why would he draw something like this?

"Although they're couplets," Valerius continued, "they can also change your profession."

"…Huh?"

That immediately caught Lyney's attention.

Change professions?

That wasn't something he'd ever heard Liyue couplets could do.

"All you need to do is paste them on either side of your door," Valerius explained.

"Once you do, you'll gain the abilities of the profession written in the couplets."

"And what profession would that be?"

"No idea," Valerius shrugged. "There are countless professions. Demon King, Hero, even Heavenly Principles. Fontaine's Hydro Archon is technically a profession too."

"…That powerful?!"

Lyney was stunned. He never would've imagined that a one-point reward could be this outrageous.

"Then… what about mine?"

"Open it and see."

Without hesitation, Lyney picked up the roll and slowly unfurled it.

Upper Couplet:

"Accomplish the greatest deeds under heaven!"

The moment the words appeared, Lyney froze.

What kind of profession requires accomplishing the greatest deeds under heaven?

Could it be… divinity?

His heart began to race.

[Furina]: Wait—why does it suddenly involve "the greatest deeds under heaven"?!

[Neuvillette]: Hmm… this does not look promising.

[Clorinde]: This feels extremely unreliable. Abilities based solely on written words—how is that not terrifying?

[Raiden Ei]: It's over. I feel like the Hydro Archon's abdication is happening today.

[Furina]: Don't scare me!!

[Herta]: "Greatest deeds under heaven"… that's ominous.

[Ruan Mei]: I'm curious. What kind of great deed?

[Trailblazer]: Come on, hurry up already!

[Seele]: Yeah! I'm getting anxious just watching!

After staring at the upper couplet, Lyney slowly unfolded the lower one.

Lower Couplet:

"Cultivate the supreme art of the mortal world!"

Lyney: "!!!!!!"

This was… terrifying.

Judging from the upper couplet alone, the status granted by this profession was already extraordinary—someone who dealt with matters under heaven.

But the lower couplet was even more absurd.

Supreme art of the mortal world.

That wasn't just status—it was overwhelming personal power.

A profession that combined supreme authority with unrivaled combat strength…

The implications were unthinkable.

Nearby, Kamisato Ayato was completely dumbfounded.

I got a bottle of fake Sprite.

And he gets THIS?!

Was this really something you could pull from a one-point reward?

[Jing Yuan]: "Supreme art of the mortal world"… This profession must possess both lofty status and extraordinary martial prowess.

[Feixiao]: I'm curious—what exactly is this profession?

[Yae Miko]: No way. You can get this from a one-point reward??? I don't believe it.

[Clorinde]: Liyue representatives, what exactly do these couplets imply?

[Keqing]: No idea.

[Beidou]: Can't tell.

[Hu Tao]: Don't understand it—but I want it.

[Xiangling]: I've never heard of a profession like this.

[Ningguang]: When it says "under heaven," does that include all Seven Nations of Teyvat?

[Beidou]: Don't scare me like that.

[Xingqiu]: "Mortal world" implies humanity. At the very least, this person would be overwhelmingly strong among humans.

[Lisa]: !!!!!

[Kamisato Ayaka]: !!!!!

[Nahida]: Interpreted that way… "under heaven" may indeed encompass all Seven Nations.

[Serval]: So… Teyvat belongs to Lyney now?

[Sampo]: That calls for a proper victory lap—time to do all the things you never dared to do before!

[Seele]: He's not that unreliable.

[Sparkle]: I'm so jealous I could cry—why didn't I get this profession?!

[Arlecchino]: Not bad. This ability is quite impressive.
