The duplicate wearing your face is still living your life. Daemon's conspiracy is still at work, seeking to destroy human-werewolf relations. Marcus and Kael are dead, the trail is cold, but the people who orchestrated all of this, are still free."
"So?" Liora's voice was hollow again, the brief emotional storm subsiding back into emptiness.
"So I'm not your enemy," Thessian said. "I'm just another weapon your father aimed at you. Just another tool in his conspiracy. He used me to break you, used Daemon to kill Aria, and used Kael to frame you. We're both his victims in different ways."
