The mention of Felix alone caused Hiro to freeze. It was a name he didn't want to hear, coming from his mother's mouth.
"And that's exactly why he's sleeping in the guest room." His tone was colder than he intended.
However, he didn't bother correcting him or showing an ounce of regret about his rude demeanour at all.
Yulia fell silent.
She knew better than to continue arguing when Hiro wore that expression.
Ever since he was young, the calmer he sounded, the more impossible it became to change his mind.
After a long pause, she sighed.
"I'm not trying to control you. You know that, right?"
"I'm aware."
"I just worry," the older woman lowered her gaze.
"For Jin?" The beta glanced up at her before shifting his gaze toward his son.
"For both of you."
Hiro lowered his gaze for a brief moment before looking back at her.
