"What is happening? Why were there gunshots?" Straw said as she looked around, trying to find out where those sounds came from… She turned her head left and right, scanning the thick line of trees. The echo was still ringing in her ears, making her chest feel tight with a sudden burst of panic.
"How am I supposed to know? We are all here… stop asking stupid questions and keep roasting…" Vinegario said as he drank, getting annoyed by the Princess Consort. He swirled the remaining wine in his cup, his face twisting into a harsh scowl as he glared at her. He didn't even look toward the direction of the noise, acting as if the loud cracks were nothing more than a minor annoyance.
