With the few peak human powerhouses finally freed up, the counteroffensive against the Monsters entered its final phase.
In just three days, all land-based King-Level Monsters were completely exterminated. Only a small number of oceanic King-Level Monsters—those that had long lurked in the deep sea and had never initiated Beast Tides—were deliberately left alive. Their remaining numbers were carefully balanced to roughly match Humanity's Councilors, ensuring that future generations would still have opponents to temper themselves against.
By the end of the third day, battles involving Councilor-tier and above had come to a close. After negotiations with the surviving King-Level Monsters, the Beast Tide officially subsided.
The price, however, had been staggering.
More than a dozen Councilors had fallen. An even greater number of Martial Artists perished, and countless ordinary civilians were injured or killed. In the initial chaos triggered by the Golden-Horned Beast, seven or eight base cities had been breached, leaving behind ruins soaked in blood.
Yet these sacrifices were not in vain.
Humanity reclaimed nearly all its lost territory, reestablished absolute dominance over Earth, and vastly expanded the space available for survival and development. With land restored and pressure relieved, Earth was poised to enter an unprecedented era of prosperity—more births, more Martial Artists, more geniuses, and a far stronger foundation to face the dangers of the wider universe.
As for Bai Yue, after successfully hypnotizing the Golden-Horned Beast, he remained behind to analyze it.
This was not a task that could be rushed.
He sat cross-legged atop the Golden-Horned Beast's massive back, fully immersed in research. Bringing it into the Dao Fruit Space was impossible—ever since the Dao Fruit recognized him as its true master, anything possessing living consciousness was forbidden from entering that space. Forcibly doing so would cause the life's consciousness to dissolve directly into the Dao itself.
Three full days passed.
And even then, Bai Yue's analysis had only scratched the surface.
The Golden-Horned Beast was among the peak bloodlines of the Starry Sky Giant Beasts. Its genetic level was more than ten times that of Humans. More terrifying still were the innate inheritances hidden deep within its genes—natural secret techniques refined through countless generations, along with fragmentary yet precious knowledge of the universe itself.
Naturally, word spread.
Although the top powerhouses of every major force were still engaged in suppressing the Beast Tide elsewhere, all factions dispatched personnel to this location the moment they could spare them.
When they arrived, they saw Bai Yue seated calmly atop the Golden-Horned Beast, eyes closed, aura steady. None dared disturb him. Instead, temporary camps were established at a distance, forming a loose ring around the colossal body.
Even after the Beast was hypnotized, its violent innate aura had not diminished in the slightest.
For those below the Planetary Level, it was like staring directly into a blazing star. Approaching too closely caused the mind to slow, the heart to pound under invisible pressure, and the eyes to sting painfully. Those with weaker willpower would foam at the mouth and collapse unconscious almost instantly.
Thus, everyone kept their distance.
When Luo Feng, Hong, and the other Councilors finally found time to arrive, what greeted them was a landscape dotted with camps surrounding a silent, mountain-sized monster.
Sensing their arrival, Bai Yue opened his eyes and rose smoothly to his feet.
A series of sharp sonic booms followed as Luo Feng, Hong, and several Councilors landed beside him atop the Golden-Horned Beast's back.
"As expected of a Starry Sky Giant Beast," one Councilor sighed, feeling the overwhelming pressure even now. "Just its body alone is enough to make us feel inherently inferior."
"I truly didn't expect you to reach this step," Hong said sincerely, looking at Bai Yue. "I'm not as good as you."
There was no bitterness in his voice—only relief. When Earth stood at the brink of annihilation, someone had stepped forward and resolved the source of disaster decisively.
After exchanging brief congratulations and sharing the hard-won joy of victory, the discussion inevitably shifted toward Earth's future.
With the Monster threat fundamentally removed, the global structure had changed forever. Whether this would ultimately prove beneficial or harmful remained uncertain. The rise of Monsters since the Great Nirvana had brought catastrophe—but it had also forged figures like Hong and Thunder God.
When several factions proposed electing Bai Yue as the new First Councilor, he refused outright.
"I only want to cultivate," he said calmly. "Managing Earth's affairs doesn't interest me."
In the end, a compromise was reached.
Bai Yue was appointed Third Councilor, while Luo Feng became the Fourth Councilor. Earth's Councilor count officially rose from five to seven—an inevitable development as Planetary-level powerhouses continued to increase.
Once the meeting concluded and most people departed, Bai Yue requested one final thing.
He asked China to help him build a manor by West Lake.
With his current strength, even offering nothing would have had nations competing to fulfill his request. Still, he provided a mu ya crystal as construction cost. Human technology, fueled by ancient civilization ruins, had advanced explosively—such a project could be completed in mere days.
The house in Mingyue Community was no longer suitable.
The Golden-Horned Beast alone made that impossible. Transporting it there would likely prevent the entire neighborhood from sleeping peacefully ever again.
After everyone else left, Bai Yue stopped Luo Feng.
"Fengzi," he said, "call Babata out."
Moments later, Babata's projection appeared on Luo Feng's shoulder.
"Babata," Bai Yue said directly, "I need a world ring."
"A world ring?!" Babata exploded instantly. "Do you even know what that's worth? Impossible!"
"Don't rush," Bai Yue said calmly, stomping lightly on the Golden-Horned Beast beneath them. "How about this?"
Babata's eyes flared crimson as he stared at the massive body. Greed was impossible to hide.
"You mean…" His voice trembled slightly.
"Yes," Bai Yue confirmed. "This Golden-Horned Beast can be used by Luo Feng."
"Then why don't you use it?" Babata asked sharply.
"I don't need it."
And he meant it.
Ever since fully mastering the Dao Fruit, Bai Yue could already create clones of himself through analysis and creation—though they could only exist within the Dao Fruit Space. Any clone brought into the Primordial Universe would be erased by the supreme rules of reality itself.
For him, the Golden-Horned Beast was valuable—but not essential.
