Those three words, "I see land" grabbed everyone's attention. They scrambled to the sides of the boat, searching for the land he spoke of, crowding around. Some even jumped up to try and see over the others.
Finally, one of them pointed and shouted, "It's over there! I see it!"
In the distance slowly approaching, was a large piece of land. What looked like docks and a town seemed to be on it too as smoke piers reached towards the sky.
Everyone began to cheer and whoop, their energy suddenly returning as their adrenaline rode high.
"WE'VE MADE IT!"
"WE'RE HERE!"
"FOOD!"
"LAND!"
It took them half a day to finally arrive, the moon was already high in the sky.
As they came up to the docks and set down their anchor. Marix headed to the front of the group with Eilownia, his hand on the small of her back as he rested his elbow on the side of the ship.
