Naruto and Yamato challenged King once again. Having learned their lesson from last time, they both went all out from the very start.
Yamato, in her Okuchi no Makami form, opened her mouth and spewed a stream of pale white freezing air toward King, while Naruto attacked from the other side with his Rasengan.
King had already made it clear: if they wanted to challenge Kaido, they first had to pass his test. If they couldn't earn his approval, they wouldn't even be allowed to see Kaido.
So there was nothing left to say.
Just beat him.
"Hmph!~"
King snorted, completely ignoring Yamato's freezing air. One hand rested on the long sword at his waist, while the other reached directly toward the Rasengan in Naruto's hand.
Boom!~
The Rasengan struck King's palm, failing to even tear his glove. Then, with a powerful grip, King crushed the Rasengan—and Naruto along with it.
Bang!~
Naruto's body turned into a log in a puff of white smoke.
It was the Replacement Technique!
Crack, crack!~
At that moment, Yamato's freezing air struck, encasing half of King's body in ice.
"Good opportunity!"
Naruto's true body appeared behind King, forming two Rasengan simultaneously and slamming them toward King's head.
King turned to counter, raising his hand—only for Yamato to rush in and bite down hard on his wrist. She flashed him a triumphant grin.
King suddenly thrust his head forward, extending it like a slingshot before snapping it back violently. The resulting shockwave sent Naruto flying. At the same time, King shook his body, shattering the ice, then grabbed Yamato by the neck and slammed her into the ground.
Boom!~
Yamato's eyes rolled back as she nearly lost consciousness. Even so, she stubbornly twisted her head and bit down on King's arm again.
King frowned, raised his hand, and tapped Yamato on the head, knocking her out completely.
Yet even unconscious, Yamato's jaws remained clamped tightly around King's wrist, refusing to release.
Whoosh!~
Naruto attacked from behind, taking advantage of King being restrained. He slammed both Rasengan into King's back.
Boom! Boom!~
The twin Rasengan struck solidly, tearing King's outer garment between his wings and leaving two spiraling marks.
Clap!~
King spread his wings, blasting Naruto away, then picked up the unconscious Yamato with one hand and walked toward him.
"You went to all that effort just to scratch my skin a little?"
"Hey!~"
Naruto wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and grinned.
"At least we can finally hurt you. And…"
He raised his index and middle fingers on both hands, forming a cross-shaped hand seal.
"Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
Bang!~
Explosive white smoke erupted as countless Naruto clones appeared, surrounding King from all sides.
"The outcome between us," they shouted in unison, "has only just begun!"
The clones surged forward all at once, their momentum overwhelming.
"This is… a clone?"
King stared at the countless Narutos rushing him, genuine surprise flashing in his eyes before a smile formed beneath his mask.
"There's even a move like this. Interesting."
Regardless of their strength, their sheer number alone was oppressive.
Of course, someone like King was an exception.
"Blade Inner Double Emperor!"
King's wings moved, firing flame bullets from the flames on his back at machine-gun speed, instantly erasing waves of clones.
"They really are clones!"
King watched them burst into white smoke upon impact. Yet before being destroyed, they were indistinguishable from real bodies.
Realizing this, he briefly considered using Observation Haki to locate Naruto's true body—
—but dismissed the thought.
Using Haki against brats like this would be too embarrassing.
If he couldn't distinguish them, then he'd destroy them all.
The flames behind King surged, doubling the barrage of flame bullets and wiping out half the clones in an instant.
Still, dozens remained. They rushed him, each forming Rasengan and slamming them toward his body.
"Bow Emperor!"
King spread his wings. The flames around his head contracted sharply as his body shot forward like a blade, slipping past the attacks and tearing through the clones ahead.
Though the Rasengan barely injured him, being struck at all was humiliating.
"Blade Inner Double Emperor · Spin!"
King abruptly stopped, then spun violently through the remaining clones. His wings cut like blades, erasing everything they touched.
In moments, nearly all the clones were gone.
Yet the last remaining clones charged forward without hesitation.
Suddenly, a visible orange Chakra surged from their bodies.
Wrapped in Nine-Tails Chakra cloaks, these clones actually withstood King's attacks.
"How is that possible?!"
King's eyes widened as the chakra-cloaked clones grabbed hold of him, wrapping their arms tightly around his body.
Their Chakra merged, forming four massive fox tails that bound King completely, immobilizing him.
King struggled—and found he couldn't break free immediately.
Shock filled his eyes.
"Got you!"
Naruto's true body appeared, yanking the long sword from King's waist. He took a swordsman's stance, eyes sharp.
"I forgot to tell you—besides being a Ninja, I'm also a swordsman. And my strongest moves are sword techniques!"
Naruto inhaled deeply, lifting the sword—more than three times his height—high overhead.
Then he brought it down with everything he had.
Wind Breathing · Eleventh Form · Raging Storm!
The slash stirred a violent tempest, transforming into a raging blade storm that engulfed King's towering body and hurled him high into the air.
