Chapter 51 – The Strongest Hunter Never Falls
Our story begins exactly where the previous chapter ended.
The Kill Guild was under attack.
Explosions echoed across the battlefield. Smoke covered the entire area, making it impossible for anyone to see clearly.
Surprisingly, Logan Lee showed no signs of fear. Instead, he raised his voice and shouted confidently,
"Prepare yourselves! Today... he will be sacrificed!"
His words ignited everyone's fighting spirit.
The people who had been trembling with fear only moments ago were now standing together, shouting with determination. It was as if the fear of death had completely disappeared from their hearts.
Suddenly, one of the Kill Guild members pointed toward the sky.
"Boss! Look up! Something is heading straight toward us at incredible speed!"
Everyone looked up.
A lone figure was descending from the direction of the moon.
"Boss... someone dressed in white is coming!"
The moment Logan Lee saw the figure, he immediately recognized him.
"Everyone! Activate the Protection Shield! It's the White Ghost Hunter!"
Without wasting a second, every guild member raised a powerful protective barrier around themselves.
The instant the White Ghost Hunter crashed into the barrier—
BOOM!!
A massive explosion shook the battlefield, sending everyone flying across the ground.
White Ghost looked around in confusion.
"Strange... They should all be terrified. So why is everyone smiling?"
Before he could understand what was happening, a hidden Formation Array beneath his feet suddenly activated.
Brilliant golden chains burst out of the ground and wrapped tightly around his body, completely restraining him. He couldn't even move a single finger.
Logan Lee slowly walked toward the captured hunter with a smug smile.
"You've caused me enough trouble."
"This Formation Array was created specifically for you."
"Did you really forget that I'm the greatest Formation Array Master in my country? Back home, no one even dares to challenge me."
He looked directly into White Ghost's eyes before continuing.
"And you think a rookie like you can destroy my entire Kill Guild? What a joke."
"You talked so confidently on the phone... What happened now?"
"Go on. Say something."
White Ghost remained completely silent.
Not a single word left his mouth.
The members of the Kill Guild burst into laughter.
"This is the legendary White Ghost Hunter?"
"Even the President fears him, yet we captured him this easily!"
Another member laughed loudly.
"Broadcast this live! Let all of Korea witness the moment their so-called strongest hunter begs us for mercy!"
Logan Lee smiled proudly.
"Well? Why aren't you saying anything?"
"Don't tell me you actually believe you can break these chains."
He laughed.
"You're mistaken."
"This Formation Array continuously absorbs your energy. That's exactly what it was designed to do."
"Go ahead... try if you want."
White Ghost slowly raised his head.
A faint smile appeared on his face.
"Really..."
"This Formation Array is powerful enough to absorb all of my energy?"
His smile only grew wider.
At that very moment, a Kill Guild member approached Logan Lee while carrying a camera, preparing to begin the live broadcast.
Suddenly—
White Ghost's sword began to tremble violently.
The ground beneath everyone's feet started cracking apart.
A terrifying pressure filled the battlefield.
The sword slowly rose into the air on its own.
For a brief second...
Everything became silent.
SLASH!!
A single flash of light cut through the battlefield.
Before anyone could react, the cameraman's head was cleanly severed from his body.
His head rolled across the ground before stopping at White Ghost's feet.
The battlefield fell into complete silence.
Every smile disappeared.
Every face turned pale.
White Ghost looked down at the severed head and spoke with an icy smile.
"You all forgot one thing..."
He slowly lifted his eyes.
"Whether I'm restrained..."
"...or completely free..."
"The White Ghost Hunter... is still the strongest."
