Chapter 1:
(Hong's Monologue):
What is it like to be rich and poor in the world? I find it a bit strange. The rich have a lot of wealth, which gives them a high status in a community and a city. And the poor are people whom neither a community nor the city knows about. The poor live a beautiful life whose value a rich person can never truly understand.
I believe I am the only son of a rich father. My father is in the list of the top 5 richest people in the city. My father gave me everything in the world, and I never experienced sadness. I started feeling that since I was born into such a rich family, God could have also created me in a poor family, but it was my destiny to be born into a rich family.
My name is Hong, and I study in the city's rich people's college. I go to college every day in a magnificent car, and everyone at college considered me the spoiled son of a rich father. Even though I didn't have any enemies, I didn't know why people disliked me. I used to stay alone all day in college. I had no friends, or I should say I never tried to make any friends.
Before, I had no interest in poor people at all, but my interest in poor people developed the moment I saw The Girl for the first time.
April 14th:
Today is April 14th, and like every day, I was going to college in my magnificent car. And today, suddenly, my eyes fell on a man and a girl standing with him outside the car. I could only see her for five seconds because my driver was driving the car. It was the first time I had seen a girl so beautiful, with such large, round eyes. She was wearing torn, old clothes, and the man seemed to be her father. They were standing at a traffic signal begging for money.
I used to see them both for only five seconds every day, and just by seeing that girl for five seconds every day, I fell in love with her immensely. I started feeling that I would fight the whole world for her. I started promising myself that I would want to see her until the last heartbeat of my life.
April 26th:
Then, one day, April 26th, I did not see her at that road signal.
Hong: Stop the car, driver, right this instant!
Car Driver: But won't you be late for college?
Hong: Do what I said! Stop the car near that signal!
Car Driver: Yes, alright, Sir Hong.
(Then I got out of the car and thoroughly searched the whole place. I didn't find her anywhere. There were tears in my eyes. I was very scared. Then I inquired at a shop nearby. The shopkeeper told me that they had left this place today and gone to the other side of that bridge.)
(Then I realized that my college route doesn't even go over that bridge! I started running fast and kept thinking to myself: I will fight the whole world for that girl. I kept thinking this until I reached her.)
(As soon as I saw her, I ran up to her, knelt down, and said aloud): Hong: I will fight the whole world!
The Girl: Why would you fight the whole world? What happened?
(Hearing this, I raised my head and looked at the girl. She was smiling and looked as if a fairy had just descended from the sky.)
Hong: I will fight the whole world for you!
The Girl: (Smiling) I am not that important to anyone that they would fight the world for me. I am just an ordinary girl.
Hong: (With tears in eyes) I know you won't believe me, but I love you.
(Hearing this, the girl sat down and took my hand in hers. Just by her doing that, my heart started beating very fast, and she began to speak):
The Girl: Oh, is that so? But I don't think anyone will ever love me. But thank you for loving me. And you look like you are from a very rich family, so why did you fall in love with a poor girl like me?
Hong: I don't know that either, but I assure you that I will love you for my whole life and fight the whole world. I will stay with you like your heart's heartbeat. Just believe me. And why did you go away today? Do you know where all I looked for you? And why is that man not with you today?
The Girl: How did I become so important to someone else? Please forgive me. An ordinary girl like me is not worthy to enter your life. And you asked about my father? His health was not good today, so he couldn't come.
(Just then, one of my bodyguards came looking for me. And as soon as he saw me, my hand was in the girl's hands, and there were tears in my eyes. Seeing all this, my bodyguard pushed me hard, and my hand slipped out of the girl's hands.)
Bodyguard: Sir, what are you doing? Do you know how important a person you are? And why are there tears in your eyes? It must be because of this two-bit girl!
(Saying all this, my bodyguard slapped the girl's beautiful face, and the girl fell down. Seeing all this, my heartbeat stopped for a moment, but I had promised that I would fight the whole world for her. I turned red with anger, and with my bodyguard's own pistol, I took my bodyguard's life.)
(Seeing all this, the girl became very scared and started crying loudly. I dropped the pistol, hugged the girl, and said while crying): Hong: Don't worry, I am with you. I won't let anything happen to you. From now on, you are my responsibility.
(The Call)
Hong's Car Driver: Hello, I am Hong's car driver.
Hong's Father: Yes, speak. What happened that you called me?
Car Driver: Sir, your son Hong has created a problem. He took the life of his bodyguard for an unknown girl.
Hong's Father: What? What are you saying, and where did he do all this?
Car Driver: Sir, he did all this at the road signal, and there were many people around.
Hong's Father: (Thinking to himself) Oh no! He did all this in the middle of a crowd, and why? Everyone in this city knows me; I am so reputed and honorable! Okay, listen, who was that girl for whom he did all this?
Car Driver: Sir, I think she is the girl who begs at the road signal.
Hong's Father: (Angrily) Oh, what has happened to my son? Why would he do such a thing for a begging girl? Okay, listen, bring him home now. I am worried about him. And if the police arrive, take my name; then nothing will happen. Now hurry up and bring my son to me.
(The Standoff)
(Hong, hugging the girl, with many people surrounding and staring at him.)
Hong: Please stop crying now. I promised you that I would fight the whole world for you, even if it meant my death. Whatever you are, I like you. I will do everything to make you feel safe with me.
(Suddenly, the girl stops crying. Hong, still hugging the girl): Oh, that's good you stopped crying. (The girl does not reply.) Hey, why aren't you saying anything? (Then Hong lifts her from the embrace and sees): Oh, what is this? She has fainted! It seems she hasn't eaten anything for many days.
Car Driver: Sir Hong, you have to come home with me now. This is your father's order.
Hong: Okay, fine, I will go home, and I know my father must have found out everything. But I will take this girl home with me too!
Car Driver: Sir Hong, I cannot do that because I was only ordered to bring you home, not this girl.
Hong: Then call my father right now and ask for permission for this girl, or I will keep sitting here, and my father's reputation will continue to be ruined!
Car Driver: (Calling) Hello, Sir, there is a problem... Sir Hong is insisting on taking the girl home with him too.
Hong's Father: (Angrily) What? Has Hong gone crazy?

(Then the car driver takes Hong and the girl home.)

(Then Hong carries the girl in his lap, goes to his room, and lays her on the bed. Meanwhile, the doctor also arrives. After checking the girl):
Hong: What happened, Doctor? Is she alright?
Doctor: There is no need to worry. She is just suffering from severe weakness due to eating too little. If she eats some food, she will be fine.
(A while later, after the doctor leaves, Hong speaks to one of his maids):
Hong: Go to the market right now and bring the most expensive and super high-quality girls' clothes and dress the girl in my room in them. And hurry up, prepare her before she wakes up!
(Then Hong goes to his father's room.)
Hong: May I come in?
Hong's Father: Yes, come in.
Hong: Did you call me, Dada?
Hong's Father: Yes, son. Is all this you are doing right in your view? First you took the life of your own bodyguard for that girl, and now you have brought her to my house too!
Hong: And now you listen to me. Does any bodyguard hit a poor girl without any reason? My bodyguard slapped that innocent girl even though she did nothing wrong to him! Yes, I admit I went to that girl, and I like her, and I have made a promise to myself that I will protect this girl until the last heartbeat of my life. And whoever comes between me and this girl, I will finish him!
