Chapter 50 - Chapter 50

Chapter 50:

Vilin took out a cigarette from his pocket and took a deep drag.

He exhaled a perfect ring of smoke.

Looking at the soft, delicate body lying against his chest, Vilin could only smile helplessly.

He had actually been pinned against the wall by his own secretary.

Seeing this once-proud princess — now his cold, aloof secretary — completely become his woman,

Vilin couldn't resist gently stroking her cold yet beautiful face.

"Don't worry. I'll avenge you."

"I won't let a single pirate who ever hurt you escape."

Hearing Vilin's promise,

Aurora was instantly overwhelmed with emotion.

She threw herself into Vilin's arms and burst into loud sobs.

In that moment, years of pent-up pain and suppression seemed to melt away.

Her usually icy face softened, gaining a touch of warmth and tenderness.

After a long while, Vilin noticed Aurora had fallen into a deep sleep in his arms.

He took out a white blanket from his tree space and wrapped it around her snow-white body.

After carrying Aurora back to her room, Vilin took a refreshing shower.

Feeling completely relaxed, he headed toward the room where Rouge and Olvia were.

Along the way, every beautiful girl he passed gave him sweet smiles.

Some even boldly threw seductive glances his way.

This reignited the heat that had just barely calmed inside him.

Water 7.

Because Water 7 is hit every year by a massive tsunami called "Aqua Laguna",

the locals pay very close attention to weather reports from the Water Gods.

During specific times, Water 7 holds a mask carnival.

Residents wear masks and dress up during that period.

Additionally,

this city is home to the world's largest shipbuilding company — Galley-La Company.

Approaching this water city,

every member of the Aitrias Pirates was captivated by Water 7's stunning scenery.

Entering Water 7's port,

after docking the ship at the shipyard for maintenance,

Vilin gave all the crew a break.

Vilin rented a Bull for 1,000 Berries,

then took his women toward the most bustling district of Water 7.

Riding the Bull through crisscrossing waterways,

Vilin's group finally reached the most prosperous area.

Walking on the hard, neat stone pavement, Rouge and the other three women curiously looked around at the unique scenery.

Actually, Vilin had another purpose for coming to Water 7.

He wanted to find a researcher with mechanical talent.

He was eager to build his own research team.

Vilin led the four women toward a luxurious nearby restaurant.

Rouge's eyes lit up when she heard Vilin describe Water 7's specialty — Water-Flesh.

Soon the group entered the restaurant.

After ordering some local specialties, Vilin also ordered four servings of Water-Flesh.

Before long, four reddish-brown fruits with a bouncy, elastic texture were placed on their plates.

Vilin had long wanted to try the Water-Flesh of the One Piece world.

Without hesitation, he grabbed one and bit down.

Feeling the chewy, refreshing texture in his mouth, Vilin couldn't help closing his eyes in enjoyment.

Seeing Vilin's expression, Rouge and Annie also took a bite.

Soon all the women were savoring the deliciousness of Water-Flesh.

Especially Olvia, who was now three months pregnant.

She seemed to have fallen in love with this tender, juicy fruit.

Olvia specifically told Vilin to buy more and store them on the ship.

Seeing how much she liked it, Vilin naturally agreed.

Soon the five of them were full and satisfied.

Vilin then took his women to enjoy the sights of this water city.

They strolled through the lively crowds, savoring the peaceful post-meal time.

Suddenly, a short middle-aged man caught Vilin's attention.

In the square ahead, a middle-aged man was promoting the robot beside him.

Seeing a large crowd gathered, Vilin walked over with interest.

Soon he saw the simple robot moving around under the man's control.

It could even strike various funny poses.

When Vilin saw the robot shoot out a brilliant firework from its hand,

his originally casual expression turned slightly serious.

He became interested in this middle-aged man.

He asked nearby people about the man's identity.

"Him? That guy's a lunatic!"

"Every time he meets someone, he keeps saying one day robots will help people build a better world!"

"Don't you think he's ridiculous?"

Vilin didn't really agree with the mockery.

He casually responded and walked toward the man.

"Hehe, I don't know your name?"

"I'm very interested in your dream!"

"Would you like to join my Aitrias family? I can provide all the research materials you need."

The middle-aged man had already been preparing to pack up for the day.

But when he suddenly heard someone was actually interested in his dream,

his somewhat hunched back straightened instantly.

He was so happy — finally, someone understood him!

His whole body trembled with excitement.

The middle-aged man immediately turned around and looked at the tall, heroic-looking man in front of him.

He could feel a powerful aura from this man.

This told him the other party wasn't mocking him — this was a genuine invitation.

"My name is Kat!"

"I can join your force, but you must satisfy all my research funding needs."

"I can agree to that, but you must prioritize the items I need most as your highest research projects."

"Fine. Wait a moment."

"I'll go get my wife and daughter right now and follow you."

Seeing how straightforward the man was, Vilin smiled happily.

"Here's my address. Bring your family to this location."

Vilin handed him a map showing where the Flying Bird was docked.

Then, under the puzzled gazes of the surrounding people, he disappeared into the crowd with his women.

In the evening, after a full day of fun, Vilin's group finally returned to the ship.

On the deck of the Flying Bird,

Vilin saw Kat seriously inspecting his ship.

Vilin walked over with interest and asked:

"Is there something wrong with the Flying Bird?"

Seeing Vilin approach, Kat looked up.

"The materials used for this ship are very good, but it lacks maintenance."

"Some parts really need replacing now."

Vilin thought about it and agreed.

He had been at sea for about a year and a half.

The Flying Bird had never been properly maintained.

Mainly because during every battle, his crew fought on the enemy ships instead.

This meant the Flying Bird had basically never taken damage.

That was why he had overlooked its maintenance.
