Sara Pov
After hearing everything Minnie told me, I knew one thing for sure-she needed a break, and she deserved to smile. So I kidnapped her for shopping. I drove to my favorite place, parked the car, and marched straight into the mall. It had been ages since we spent time like this. Minnie was always buried in her studies and part-time jobs, never doing anything for herself. Today? No excuses. I wasn't letting this change slip.
I grabbed her hand and pulled her toward one of my favorite dress shops.
Minnie: "Sara, wait!"
Sara: "What now?" I asked, already knowing trouble was coming.
Minnie: "This shop looks really expensive..."
Sara: "Relax. I'm the one paying."
Minnie: "No way, Sara. I'm not letting you waste money on me...
Sara: I rolled my eyes, crossed my arms, and said, "You can either walk in like a normal human or I can drag you in like a shopping bag-your choice."
Minnie sighed... and followed me inside
I smiled 😀 and we went to the dress shop.
I picked a few dresses for myself and then completely took over Minnie's section. When I looked at her, she was slowly turning in circles, staring at the price tags like they might start blinking. Her eyes were wide, her mouth slightly open. I rolled my eyes and pulled her toward the trial room, pushing a dress into her hands.
Minnie: "Uh... Sara, I don't think this color will suit me."
Sara: I sighed loudly, like a tired older sister, and said.
"Minnie, this color was made for you. And stop staring at the price tag like it personally offended you. I told you already-I'm paying, I have money, and no, you're not allowed to argue."
She tried to say something, but I gently shoved her into the trial room and closed the door.
Sara: "Go try it on. If you don't come out in two minutes, I'm opening the door myself."
From inside, I heard her laugh.
That smile? Totally worth every penny. 💝
The trial room door opened slowly, and Minnie stepped out, looking nervous.
Minnie: "Sara... this is too much."
I crossed my arms and said seriously, "Yeah, you're right. This dress is dangerous."
She panicked. "What?"
I smiled.
"Because you look way too beautiful in it."
She looked at the mirror again and smiled softly.
Sara: "See? Today is your day."
Minnie : Thank you Sara ❤️
Sara : No 'sorry' and no 'thank you' between friends. Now come on-let's pay the bill and go eat something for lunch.
Minnie pov
We went to a restaurant and ordered our favourite food and ice cream. After a long time, I felt truly happy because of Sara. Sitting there, I smiled and asked her if she still remembered how we met in college.
Sara: laughing "Of course I remember!"
Minnie: "It was our third week of college, right? The day seniors tried to rag you."
Sara: "Yes! I was so scared, I didn't even know whether to run or cry."
Minnie: "That's when I came like a superhero to save you."
Sara: smiling "My superwoman-no cape, just courage. From that day, you became my personal bodyguard
Minnie : i smiled and said "I don't even know why I saved you that day, but I just couldn't leave you with them. Later, in the classroom, you were the one who came and spoke to me. To be honest, I was scared too. I didn't have any friends in college-l used to come, sit quietly in the corner, study, and leave as soon as class was over. That's how my life was before you".
But after you came and talked to me, we became close. I trust you blindly. It truly feels like a blessing that you came into my life. You're not like anyone else. Some people say I'm close to you because you're rich, but that's not true. I love the person you are-the way you do anything for the people you care about. I feel peaceful and happy whenever I'm with you. You're not just my friend... you're my sister.
Sara : Why are you making me cry? Everything you said is true. At first, I hesitated for a few minutes before talking to you. You were a bright student in the class, and I didn't feel confident about myself. But something told me to come and talk to you. After that day, you became the best person I ever got close to. Meeting you is one of the most beautiful things in my life 💕
Minnie : Why are we talking like this?" I said, smiling. We both laughed and started having our lunch. After lunch, we went to watch a movie. When the movie ended, Sara dropped me off at the coffee shop. As I stepped inside, I kept thinking about the beautiful day and how special it felt because of Sara. I smiled to myself, walked in, and wished Maya and my manager.
Maya : i smiled and said " you just missed "
Minnie : "what I missed" i asked confused
