Minnie POV
The early morning sun fell directly on my face, making me feel uncomfortable. I shifted slightly, but then I realized something-my waist felt heavy... and there was a warm breath brushing against my shoulder.
My eyes slowly opened.
I looked down and saw a hand wrapped around me. I froze in surprise. Looking around, I noticed the large window in front of me, revealing a beautiful Paris view. For a second, everything felt unreal.
I slowly turned my head.
Will was sleeping peacefully beside me.
A soft smile appeared on my lips. It felt like a dream... and if it was, I didn't want to wake up.
I quietly admired his sleeping face, then gently placed my hand on his forehead.
His fever was gone I looked at him and smiled Before I could pull my hand away, his eyes suddenly opened.
I gasped and quickly tried to move my hand, but he caught it and intertwined his fingers with mine.
"Good morning, Minnie," he said, his voice deep and husky from sleep.
My heart skipped. I smiled shyly. "Morning, WilI..."
He looked straight into my eyes, then slowly pulled me closer to his chest.
Before I could react, he placed soft kisses-on my forehead... my eyes... my nose... one after another.
I couldn't help but laugh at his actions.
Then his gaze dropped to my lips.
He leaned closer.
My heart started racing.
Quickly, I placed my finger between our lips. "I didn't brush my teeth, WilI..." I said, completely embarrassed.
He gently held my fingers and moved them away.
"Last night, you kissed me without worrying about getting sick," he said with a teasing smile. "So now... I don't care if you brushed or not."
My eyes widened.
He slowly leaned closer again.
This time... I closed my eyes.
Just as our lips were about to meet-
The door suddenly opened.
"Will? Are you feeling better?" a familiar voice called out.
My eyes flew open.
Mia aunty stood at the door.
My... God.
I immediately pushed Will away and hid myself under the blanket, my face burning with embarrassment.
"Ohhh..." she said, clearly amused. "Will, I think you're feeling much better now. I won't disturb you two... please continue." just like that, she closed the door and left.
I slowly pulled the blanket down and looked at Will.
He was laughing.
I covered my face with my hands. "Will! Aunty misunderstood everything... I have to explain what happened!"
I quickly tried to get up, but before I could get up, He pulled me back into his arms, making me fall on him again.
I looked at him, completely flustered.
He smiled, still amused, then said casually, "Minnie... do you really think Mom had an important dinner meeting yesterday?"
I blinked. "... What?"
He raised an eyebrow. "You really think she would leave me alone when i am not feeling well ?" he continued. "And also... I already signed the important files in the office."
For a second... everything clicked.
My eyes widened. "So... it was all aunty's plan?" I whispered. "But why...?"
His expression softened a little.
"Because she wants us to be happy again," he said quietly. "She wants both of us.. together... like before."
My heart softened.
I slowly looked down... then smiled without realizing.
Before I could say anything-
His teasing smile returned.
"So..." he said, pulling me slightly closer, "my mom told us to continue what we were doing..."
My eyes widened instantly. "Will!"
He leaned closer, his voice dropping playfully. "..and I don't like disobeying my mom."
My heart started racing again.
"Y-you're impossible..." I whispered, trying to look away.
"And you're still not stopping me," he replied softly.
I froze.
He slowly leaned in again, his gaze fixed on my lips. This time... I didn't stop him.
My heart was beating so fast I was sure he could hear it.
Will didn't rush this time.
He paused just inches away from me, his eyes searching mine-almost like he was asking without words.
I didn't move.
I didn't stop him.
That was his answer.
Slowly... gently... he closed the distance.
His lips brushed against mine-soft, warm... hesitant at first.
For a second, everything went still.
Then my fingers slowly tightened around his shirt.
That small reaction was enough for him.
He deepened the kiss just a little, still careful, still gentle-as if he didn't want to scare me away.
My mind went blank.
All I could feel was him.
His hand moved to my waist, pulling me closer, like he didn't want even a little space between us.
I melted into him without realizing.
After a moment, he pulled back slightly, his forehead resting against mine, both of us breathing unevenly.
I couldn't even open my eyes.
"Minnie..." he whispered softly.
I hummed, still lost.
A small smile appeared in his voice. "So... brushing your teeth wasn't that important, huh?"
My eyes immediately opened, and I hit his shoulder lightly.
"Wil!!"
He laughed softly, but his grip on me didn't loosen.
Before I could say anything else, he leaned in again -this time a little more confident.
I froze for a second... then slowly responded.
This kiss felt different.
Less hesitant... more real.
Like all the teasing, all the confusion, everything between us-was quietly turning into something clear.
When he finally pulled away, he looked at me... not teasing this time.
Just... soft.
"Now," he said gently, brushing a strand of hair away from my face,
"if you still want to go explain to Mom... go ahead."
I stared at him, completely speechless.
Then I hid my face in his chest.
"I'm not going anywhere..." I mumbled.
He smiled and wrapped his arms around me.
"Good choice."
After a few minutes, I finally gathered the courage to go downstairs.
I avoided looking at Will and walked straight ahead, trying to act normal.
Big mistake.
Mia!! aunty was already there... sitting calmly... waiting.
The moment she saw me, a slow smile spread across her face.
"Good morning, Minnie," she said sweetly.
"G-good morning, aunty..." I replied, not even lifting my head.
She leaned forward slightly. "Did you sleep well?"
I choked on nothing. "Y-yes..."
"Hmm..." she nodded knowingly. "In Will's room?"
My face turned completely red.
"Aunty! It's not like that-he had a fever and I was just-"
She raised her hand, stopping me. "Minnie, relax. I'm not complaining."
I blinked.
Innocently, she added- "I'm actually very happy."
"...What?"
Just then, Will walked in like nothing happened, completely relaxed.
"Morn, Mom"
Aunty looked at him and smirked. "You're looking very healthy for someone who had a fever yesterday."
Will glanced at me and smiled slightly. "Yeah... I got very good care."
I kicked his leg lightly under the table. "Will!"
Aunty laughed softly. "Good. Then Minnie should stay here more often."
I almost dropped the glass in my hand.
"Aunty!"
Will leaned back casually. "I don't mind."
I glared at him, whispering, "Stop it..."
He leaned closer to my ear. "You started it... remember?"
My heart skipped.
Will POV
I found her standing near the balcony.
Quiet.
Too quiet.
The morning light was falling on her face, but she wasn't looking at anything... just lost in her own thoughts.
For a second, I just stood there and watched her.
Last night... everything changed.
Or maybe... everything came back.
I slowly walked towards her.
"Still embarrassed?" I asked, keeping my voice light... even though my chest felt tight.
She didn't turn. "This is all your fault"
A small smile came to my lips.
I stepped closer.
"Don't blame me alone," I said softly. "You didn't stop me either."
She turned then, her eyes meeting mine.
"I tried," she said.
I shook my head slightly.
"No... you hesitated."
And that hesitation...
It stayed with me.
I reached out and gently tucked her hair behind her ear, letting my fingers linger for a second longer than needed.
"Minnie..." I called softly."
This time, I couldn't joke.
Not anymore.
"Why didn't you stop me?" I asked, my voice lower now.
She looked away.
"I... I don't know..."
I let out a quiet breath.
"I do.'
She looked back at me.
"Because you feel it too," I said.
My heart was pounding, but I didn't stop.
"I felt it last night," I continued. "When you stayed... when you didn't leave me alone..."
My voice almost broke, but I held it together.
I stepped closer.
"It felt like... I got you back."
Silence fell between us.
Heavy... real.
"l've been pretending this whole time," I admitted. "Joking... teasing... acting like it's nothing..."
I shook my head slightly.
"But it's not nothing."
I looked straight into her eyes.
"When I thought you might walk away again..." I paused, swallowing hard,
"...it scared me more than the fever did."
That was the truth.
Raw. Unfiltered.
"I don't want to go back to that," I said quietly.
"I don't want to lose you again."
I lifted my hand and gently held her face.
"I'm done pretending, Minnie," I whispered.
"I don't want this to be a fake anymore."
My thumb brushed her cheek softly.
"I want you... not just like before... but for real this time."
Her eyes filled slightly, and something inside me tightened.
She moved closer and hugged me tightly.
I closed my eyes and wrapped my arms around her, holding her like I didn't want to let go again.
After a moment, I pulled back just enough to look at her.
She looked... soft. Real.
"Can I kiss you.." I asked quietly, "...this time without interruption?"
She smiled a little, still shy even now.
"...Only if you brushed."
A soft laugh escaped me.
"Still worried about that"
I leaned closer anyway, my voice dropping to a whisper.
"And if I didn't?"
She closed her eyes.
"...I don't care."
That was all I needed.
I didn't rush this time.
I kissed her slowly... gently... like I had all the time in the world.
Because for the first time it finally felt like she wasn't going anywhere.
Minnie POV
We slowly broke the kiss when my phone suddenly started ringing.
I pulled back slightly, my cheeks still warm, and glanced at Will shyly before walking a little away to answer it.
I looked at the caller ID.
Sara.
A small smile appeared on my lips as I picked up the call.
Before I could even say "hello"-
"Sara: Bitch, where were you?! I called you so many times and you didn't respond! Do you know how worried I was? I even called Akil-he went to your house, and you weren't there!"
She spoke in one breath.
I sighed softly, feeling a little guilty but also smiling at how much she cared.
"Sara, I'm really sorry... I was busy last night," I said gently.
Before she could reply-
I suddenly felt arms wrap around my waist from behind.
My breath hitched.
Will.
He pulled me closer, his chest against my back, his hand resting on my waist as he placed his head near my shoulder.
I turned my face slightly toward him, my heart racing, and unconsciously leaned into him. One of my hands slowly rested over his.
"Sara, I'm really sorry..." I repeated softly.
She sighed. "Forget it... where are you now?"
I froze for a second.
I hadn't told her anything about me and WilI... and
now...
"Uh... Sara..." I hesitated.
Before I could finish-
Will's fingers tightened slightly around mine.
Then I felt it.
A soft, warm touch near my neck.
My breath caught.
"Actually... I'm at Will's house..." I managed to say, my voice slightly unsteady.
"What are you doing at Will's house, Minnie?" Sara asked immediately.
I tried to answer-but Will wasn't making it easy.
He had clearly found my weak point.
His lips brushed my neck again.
I bit my lower lip, trying hard not to react.
"S-Sara... it's a long story..." I said, struggling to keep my voice normal. "I'm getting late for work... I'll call you later, okay?"
Without waiting for her reply, I quickly cut the call.
For a second, I just stood there, trying to breathe properly.
Then I turned to him, still in his arms.
"Will..." I said breathlessly, my voice was soft and unsteady.
"What are you doing"?
He just looked at me, a teasing smile slowly forming on his lips.
And somehow-
That made my heart beat even faster I quickly stepped away from him, trying to control my racing heart.
"Will... wait," I said, avoiding his eyes. "As I said, I'm getting late for work. You take rest... I'll go to the office, okay?"
I tried to change the topic and move away, but he didn't let me go that easily.
"What? No," he said immediately. "You're not leaving. I'm your boss-I'm giving you a day off. Stay with me."
I raised my eyebrows and turned to him.
"Will, I have a lot of work at the office. I don't need leave."
He let out a soft sigh and stepped closer.
Gently, he placed his hand on my shoulder.
I looked at him. Our eyes met-and for a moment, everything went silent.
"Minnie..." he said softly, his voice no longer teasing.
"It's been so long since I had a proper talk with you... since I got to spend time with you like this."
There was something different in his eyes now.
Something real.
"I need you..." he continued quietly. "Please... stay with me."
My heart softened instantly.
And suddenly... going to the office didn't feel that important anymore.
I let out a small sigh and nodded.
"Okay... but I need to inform Nova that I'm taking leave today," I said.
He watched me quietly as I picked up my phone and called Nova. He answered almost immediately.
"Good morning, Minnie," Nova said cheerfully.
"Good morning, Nova... actually, I called to say need a day off today," I said a little hesitantly.
"What? You need leave? But Minnie, we have so much work! I can't handle everything alone," he replied quickly.
I felt guilty instantly. I glanced at Will and bit my lower lip. Then I put the call on hold and turned to him.
"Will.. as your assistant, you know we have a lot of work. Noua can't handle it alone... I think I should go," I said softly.
He sighed, then suddenly took my phone from my hand.
Before I could stop him, he unmuted the call.
"Nova," Will said calmly, "I know you have a lot of work. But as your boss, I'm giving both of you a day off. Continue everything tomorrow. Okay... bye."
And he cut the call.
My eyes widened. "Will! Why did you do that?"
He just rolled his eyes and pulled me closer. Our eyes met.
"I just want my employees to be happy on their leave," he said in a low, husky voice.
My breath stopped for a second.
He leaned closer... and I couldn't stop myself this time.
I smiled softly and closed the distance, responding to his kiss.
Time passed so quickly.
We spent the whole day together-watching movies, series... laughing... and yes, he kept pulling me back into his arms again and again.
At some point, I laughed to myself, realizing how easily I had forgotten everything else.
When I finally checked the time, it was already 8:00 PM.
My smile faded slightly.
"I should go home..." I thought, even though my heart didn't want to leave him.
Slowly, I got up from his
He looked at me immediately. "Minnie?"
"Will... I need to go home," I said, my voice soft and a little sad.
"Why? You said you'd stay with me today," he replied.
"I did... but it's already late. And look at me-I'm still in yesterday's dress. I have to go to the office tomorrow," I said, half embarrassed.
He sighed. "Fine... I'll drop you home."
I smiled at him.
We got ready and went downstairs. He took his keys, and as we entered the hall, Mia aunty and Luna were sitting and talking.
I looked at them.
Luna looked at me... then at Will... then back at me.
Her eyes widened in shock.
"OMG... Brother, is this real or am I dreaming?" she said dramatically.
I froze in embarrassment.
Luna stood up and walked closer, observing me from head to toe.
"Same dress... glowing face... shy smile..." she muttered, then looked at Will with a smirk. "Wow... your 'fever' recovery is really impressive, brother."
"Luna!" I said, completely flustered.
She ignored me and continued teasing.
"Minnie, tell me honestly... did he at least let you sleep? Or was he just... annoying you the whole time?"
Will chuckled softly beside me.
I covered my face. "Aunty... please tell her to stop..."
But aunty mia just smiled knowingly.
Luna clapped her hands once.
"Okay okay... I get it. I'll stop... for now."
Then she leaned closer to me and whispered playfully-
"But seriously... you both look too obvious."
My face turned even redder.
Will, on the other hand, just calmly slipped his hand into mine.
