Chapter 88 - In which misfortune became of her

Reality is often different from perception. And it is undeniable that man—regardless of his species—becomes agitated in the face of something he fears. 

The unusual slowly starts to appear usual and endearing. The grace of a leopard when faced with a den of vipers begins to diminish until the minute existing courage appears equivalent to that of a house cat.

Sullivan's current predicament was quite if not too synonymous to the above. For a man with his level of intelligence, species, and strength; fear, though not paramount to his being, was neither non-existence. With the anomaly being that a normal man's greatest and deepest fear was definitely Sullivan's mode of entertainment. 

His fear though, was peculiarly human. Wore lovely dresses and a skirt. Heels that sometimes carried a soft hum or threatened to pierce the tiles and a mouth that promised the smartest negotiations in business.
