*Arceus's Decision*
{Eternal Realm}
Back at the Eternal realm, the empress and the few Eldar who remained behind were sitting inside the Eldar chamber. "Your Majesty, what are we to do of the pending crisis?", asked the Ninth Eldar (Fung Shu), "We have to wait for a report from the emperor", answered the Third Eldar (Hou Xangwu), elderly looking man with a beard, the head of the Hou clan, one of the five great Eternal clans.
As they were talking, "Report!", shouted a soldier who came in, "Greeting Your Majesty and Eldar, I have an important message from the king.
The celestial realm has fallen and no longer exists", said the soldier with a grim and stiff voice. After reading the message, it gave everyone present a chilling feeling as if it signaled that something like that was bound to happen. Some officials had family that lived there or someone they knew who lived there; the feeling seeped deep into their heart that some officials started tearing up. The Grand Chancellor's son was sent there for official work. "What about my son?" asked the Grand Chancellor, Zheng Yu, concerned and in a perilous voice, and the soldier shook his head. He collapsed.
Everyone was concerned for his health and rushed to his side, "Get an Imperial physician", shouted Li Yuan, Minister of Justice. Tianyi stood up from her throne and walked closer to the edge of the stairs, "Take him". They then escorted Zheng Yu out. This caused the panic and pain to even soar higher among the officials. The Eldar remained silent, watching, but the Imperial was in mourning along with the rest of Creation.
"How was this possible the emperor himself went there, how is he?", asked the Sixth Eldar impatient, and the soldier replied sternly, "His majesty is fine but all though they wiped out the giant race the enemy was able to active his plan and destroyed the Celestial realm, his majesty ordered the remaining celestials be brought here and that Her majesty make preparations".
"Very well, my lords, you are dismissed till the emperor gets back. I'll make preparations for their arrival", ordered the empress, and the council was dismissed.
{Heavenly Realm}
At the Heavenly Palace, the Heavenly court welcomes Bai Xuan Yu, "Warlord of the Seventh Fleet of the Eternal Realm Bai Xuanyu arrives".
"Greetings, Lord Xuanyu", said everyone, bowing to Bai Xuanyu as he walked into the hall. "Rise", said he softly as he stood before the Heavenly Emperor's throne, facing the emperor and empress.
"May we know the reason for this visit?", asked the Heavenly Emperor curiously. "I have something to discuss with Her Majesty", answered Xuanyu with a straight face, and the Heavenly emperor knew the seriousness of the visit.
"Your Majesty, your clan within the Heavenly realm is an offspring from the Phoenix God just like the Phoenix clan of the Eternals but your clan were not bestowed the Eternal flame to guard", explained Xuanyu seriously as he faced her, "Even though Heavenly Phoenix clan does not possess the prowess of the Eternal Phoenix clan, they however possess the prestige so with that said, I am giving this to you and your clan to guard until my son has attained the Phoenix God Body", said Xuanyu has he held out his hand a beautiful flame of fire form in his palm that illumined the entire hall.
"The Eternal flame," gasped the Heavenly emperor.
Everyone in the hall was amazed by its beauty and elegance as well as it's graceful form, "I hope I can trust u with this task", asked he Xuanyu and she nodded her head and give it to her after she felt it in her palm she felt a surge of divine power go through her body, that caused her to cough up blood. Everyone gasped and looked confused but also concerned for the empress. The emperor flashed forward to hold her, but was burned by the flame, forcing him to stand back. "Your Majesty!", shouted one of his officials, but he stopped them.
"You have to use your core to stabilize it and carry it, so you should put it in a container", said Bai Xuanyu seriously.
"So is the power your son will one day hold, magnificent", said the Heavenly emperor, Mu Yuhuan, as the empress controlled her Qi to house the flame. "The Eternal phoenix is always welcome to the Heavenly realm", said the Heavenly emperor, and Xuanyu nodded and flashed off instantly.
"Your Majesty, we have attained the flame we should use it to our benefit", said one Immortal lord with assurance, "Are you crazy it only obeys the Phoenix God if we use it, it will destroy the Heavenly realm as punishment", said one Heavenly Phoenix clan general Feng Dian, sternly, "It has a will of its own, you saw what happened to the Celestial realm", added he.
"Very well, I will go and contain the flame", said the Heavenly empress, and she flashed off.
"But your majesty there is a way we can get it, that's if we marry one of the future Heavenly princesses to Lord Xuanyu's descendants, then their offspring will be half immortal an advantage for us", said the High Immortal (Qian Xueying) and the emperor nodded his head, with a look of interest on his face and the court was adjourned.
{Eldar Chamber}
At the Hall of Eldar, the imperial court had convened by order of the emperor, "The emperor ordered me to preside over this meeting", said the Imperial Advisor sternly as he looked over the chamber at the members of the council, "The Xearrions have to be dealt with the emperor has asked that we detain the entire race", said the Imperial Advisor firmly, "The Xearrions are a part of the Eternal realms history since ancient times, we can't just punish innocent Xearrions for the action of the their army", said one noble lord (Ling Qi) firmly.
As the counsel argued about their next step, they must take, a soldier came running in, "Report! The Head Imperial Eunuch has arrived with edict of the emperor", announced he, and the empress stood up from her throne, for she sensed what was in it.
"Go inform Arceus", ordered she, her maid. As the maid went the eunuch flashed in facing the entire Eldar, "Listen to the imperial edict", ordered he and everyone kneeled and the Eldar stood up and he (Eunuch) continued, "I hereby decree that I have found evidence of their treason, the Xearrion race has committed a treason that is unforgivable and is hereby ordered to by executed, anyone who tries to help them, they and six generations of their family will executed", read the eunuch aloud.
"Yes!!", said everyone agreeing willingly and unwillingly and the eunuch turned to the empress and nodded and flashed off.
At the Bifrost, Xuanyu arrived, "My lord", greeted the gatekeepers, and he ignored them and flashed off. "This is going to be another horrible day", said one gatekeeper (Pang).
{Dragon Palace}
(Arceus's Palace)
In his room, Arceus was busy with one of his new creations, "Just a little bit more,", said he as he cultivated energy into an orb-like object, when Bai Xuanyu flashed in.
"You're back", said he (Arceus), "Yes and I have done my part", said Xuanyu sternly, "My father has ordered the Xearrions to be executed", informed Arceus has he was stabilizing his Qi and standing up from his sitting position, "Will you really do it? if you don't want to I can…", said Xuanyu before he was interrupted, "No I will do it I have taken this decision and I will carry it out", said Arceus firmly. Xuanyu could sense the lie and pain in Arceus' heart, and Arceus knew he could sense it, but he just smiled. "Damn this Heart-bound", said Xuanyu in an angry tone.
As they looked out of the terrace, Xuanyu turned his face to him, staring him directly in the eyes and said, "I will support you no matter what", and he kissed Arceus.
{Crown Prince residence}
At Zhi'an's residence, Qingtian was sitting and making an embroidery for him when Zhi'an entered. He looked at her as she stood up, and she saw his look of despair and fear. "What happened?" she asked. A scared look washed over her face.
Reluctantly, he spoke, "My father just decreed your race to be executed", said he in a stumbling voice, and after hearing that, Qingtian collapsed and fell on her knees. She started to cry, and he rushed to hug her.
"What about me will I too…", asked she in a cracking voice, "Never, I will never allow it. I told my mother that I wish to marry you, which will make you a member of the Supreme Dragon clan and clear from the decree", said Zhi'an firmly and assured. He held her tightly as she cried.
