First day at work is something that is pretty daunting for most people everyone, there is this new place, new people, new everything. It is a big challenge and its normal too.
As Val walked in she could feel the difference from her normal life to this, there was a smell of old and new papers everywhere and also this weird smell, which partly smelt like dry blood, partly like alcohols, and also partly like drugs, which isn't uncommon here.
"This is a government detective office, of course it will be filled with kinds creepy stories and murder weapons, but hey that's something not normal, thus it must be interesting? maybe i get to save lives anyways right?" she thought to herself.
Then suddenly a thought stuck to her "People here are talented in finding criminals, they know what mistake, the criminals make, if they were to become, they might just be invincible. Wait... SHUT UP, that's a stupid thought, that just so stupid like why would leave their normal life to choose a life of crime, like sure in some days you just want to become someone everyone wants to fear but then you are always living in the shadows, completely away from freedom, which is ironical since many choose a life of crime for the sake of freedom. Anyways what am I thinking, good possibility but i shouldn't go around here suspecting people for crime, they can hide evidence well here in this mess though... agghhhh.... stooopppppp" this was her though until saw her cabin, "Room No. 211" written on the top of the door. She opens the door, as she was instructed in her mail.

She opens the door. The air felt a little different, there were only this sense of smell of papers rather only old ones, she was expecting a mix of both. Old from the old default learning cases which always exist over there and new form the new case files. And as she has expected, as she opened the files on the table they were empty. She knew they would be empty for quite sometime, she had joined a priority department and no one would be ready to give priority cases to a new detective.
"The first cases I would get would be simple easy ones, I'll have to finish them quickly to get more priority ones, that's when this all would be fun", she thought to herself.
Val kept checking and rechecking the email and also refreshing the screen in hope of some new information. Something, that would let her do something, like let her do some work, any work!
When Val refreshed the inbox 11th time, she herd a little knock on the door. The knock was on wood but, she also heard a slight metallic sound, which could've only come from a ring, since, it couldn't be the door, which was made of wood, with a little privacy glass window, to let in some light. The knock seemed to come from the upper part below the glass. The the metallic sound was slow and sharp, as if from the a wedding ring. If followed by convention, the ring was of a woman.
"Come in." Val replied.
"Hello... You're Valeria Cox. Am I right?"
"Yes and you...?"
"Madison White. I was a in the same place as you last month all the new and all.
Come let me show you around. I am also a 57 by the way."
"Oh.. sure."
Then goes the tour of the agency it was 3 floored building and Madison showed all the rooms as mentioned in the email. They looked pretty high tech. In fact Val was proud to be here.-
