The others screamed in terror and scrambled desperately towards the rooftop.
The hulking zombie, perhaps starving, just stood there eating voraciously and didn't pursue them.
This gave the remaining survivors a chance to escape.
Soon, Xiao Yi saw the group appear on the rooftop of the gymnasium, carrying large and small bags.
The gymnasium wasn't very tall, only three stories, but it was enough to defend against zombies. Zombies couldn't climb walls, so as long as they barricaded the stairwell door, they would be safe for the time being.
