Leo suddenly opened his eyes, his head now buzzing like it had been hit with a hammer. The experience of several days in the world of consciousness compressed into one moment was more than his brain could handle. The time he was unconscious was precisely when his brain was breaking down the massive amount of information to absorb it.
"Why am I so dizzy? My movement seems a bit off. And what time is it anyway?"
Seeing the familiar space before him, he understood he'd been brought home. Who brought him back wasn't important, what mattered was how long he'd been out.
A familiar face suddenly appeared in front of him, blocking his view. Michael grabbed his head and stuck his face close, looking at him like he was studying some strange object.
Leo kicked Michael away. Being stared at like that made him extremely uncomfortable.
"What are you looking at me for?"
"To study you, what else? Three days ago you were glowing like a little sun, almost blinded me."
