Chapter 1 Uchiha Clan Gathering
Konoha Year 37, Early Autumn.
Nanka Shrine, Uchiha Clan Gathering.
The current clan head, Uchiha Setsuna, sat solemnly in the main seat.
On either side of him sat composed middle-aged and elderly men, wearing haori specially made for clan elders.
Below the main platform sat a dense crowd of clan members, all wearing nameplates indicating they were Jonin or Chunin. It seemed the clan's elite had all arrived.
"Everyone is present. Therefore, please, Mr. Hanma, step forward."
Uchiha Setsuna said in a deep voice.
Among the crowd, a young man slowly rose and walked forward.
He was extremely tall, nearly two meters, with a resolute and handsome face. He wore a loose-fitting kimono, with a neatly tied shimenawa at his waist.
Judging solely by his attire, he possessed the air of a daimyo.
The young man stood in the center of the clan's grounds, his towering latissimus dorsi muscles blocking the sunlight and casting a long shadow on the bluestone floor.
He smiled, nodded, and gave a brief nod, his gaze sweeping over all the clansmen present.
Even some of the clansmen with awakened Sharingan felt a chill run down their spines when they met his gaze, inwardly marveling:
"Truly worthy of the title 'Perfect Weapon'—Uchiha Hanma!"
Hanma's muscles were like cast iron and bronze, reflecting a metallic sheen.
Not only were they awe-inspiring in their sheer size, but the power they contained seemed tangible, radiating an extremely dangerous aura.
From his physical attributes alone, it was clear that Hanma's taijutsu skills were beyond the comprehension of ordinary people.
Uchiha Setsuna looked at him, a hint of helplessness and感慨 on his face, and slowly said:
"Congratulations, Hanma, on your promotion to Jonin."
"To be promoted to Jonin solely through taijutsu and physical strength—this is unprecedented in the Uchiha clan, and even in the entire Hidden Leaf Village."
"The entire clan is thrilled with your progress, but we still hope you will focus on developing your Sharingan as well."
"After all, this is the foundation of our Uchiha clan."
In the Uchiha clan, which prides itself on its eye techniques, Hanma's dedication to taijutsu was initially seen by many as a challenge to their bloodline.
But as Hanma's strength continued to rise, and some veteran three-tomoe clan members were utterly defeated in sparring with him, the younger generation of Uchiha began to change their opinions of him.
Taijutsu, it seems...is a good choice after all?
The Uchiha, ultimately, are a clan that values strength above all else.
Hanma crossed his arms, looking completely unconcerned, and said casually:
"I don't really care about this Jonin position anymore. After all, if I disobey the Hokage Building again, I might be demoted again."
"Alright! Enough!"
Uchiha Setsuna interrupted Hanma helplessly.
This guy really doesn't give anyone face, not even to his own family head.
This strange outcast in the clan is not only incredibly strong, but also the son of the famous Uchiha Kagami. No one in the clan, or even the Hokage's faction, can do anything about him.
Even Shimura Danzo has suffered quite a bit at his hands.
Thinking of this, a smile unconsciously appeared on his face, his mood brightened, and he said loudly:
"In short, congratulations to Hanma-kun on his promotion to Jonin and his appointment as the clan's chief taijutsu instructor!"
"Congratulations, Hanma-senpai!"
The Uchiha clan members offered their enthusiastic congratulations to Hanma, some of the younger members even clapping until their hands were red and unwilling to stop.
