Because of work and school tomorrow, the Yotsuya Family decided to move today.
The butler sent a professional moving team, and the group returned to the Yotsuya house in a bustle, only to find Hana at the door, nearly collapsing from hunger.
"Miko... why are you just getting back... if you'd been any later, you wouldn't have seen me again, waah..."
*Gurgle~*
Hana awkwardly rubbed her stomach while looking at the Yotsuya Family.
"I'll find you something to eat."
Miko pulled Hana into the kitchen and quickly put together some instant food.
Watching Hana wolf it down, Miko looked speechless.
"So, how did you end up this hungry?"
Hana gave a dry laugh and scratched her head:
"A kid's dog ran off to the Cursed Building again, so..."
Miko rolled her eyes:
"Don't bother with things like that in the future. Do you want to die yourself or get the people around you killed?"
"If that kid's dog gets lost once, it's an accident. If it gets lost twice, that's his own problem."
Miko suddenly realized that she had been influenced quite a lot during her time with Akuto!
She never would have thought this way before.
Hana gave a dry laugh and lowered her head.
"Well, I didn't think that far... I definitely won't bother with it in the future!"
After eating and drinking her fill, Hana regained a burst of energy and started working with the moving team.
It was after 3:00 PM when the group finally returned to the new home.
Hana stepped into the new house, and her gasps of amazement never stopped.
"Wow!"
"This is amazing!"
"It's so beautiful! I want to live here forever!"
Hana rolled around on Miko's bed repeatedly.
"Miko, why don't you ask Aunt Touko to adopt me?"
It was clear that Hana was genuinely happy for Miko; she stayed to help until it started getting dark before saying goodbye.
Touko was tirelessly organizing their belongings.
Kyosuke was hiding in his room, doing who knows what.
Miko had nothing to do, so she decided to wander around the common area.
"Lord Akuto."
A voice called out from a distance. Miko turned around and saw Tozuka, who had visited their home before.
This apartment was a gift from the man in front of her.
Tozuka was accompanied by a pale young man and an elegant woman.
"Lord Akuto, this is my wife, and as you've seen before, my son Tsukahara."
"Thanks to you, he was discharged today."
The woman pulled her son to bow and thank Miko.
"Nice to meet you. Thank you for saving my good-for-nothing son."
Miko frowned and said expressionlessly:
"I am Yotsuya Miko."
This sentence left the Tozuka family stunned. Mrs. Tozuka gave her husband and son a reproachful look.
She couldn't understand how they could get something as basic as a name wrong.
But Tozuka knew very well.
The Yotsuya Family had no twins.
So, what did it mean when the person in front of him claimed not to be Akuto, but Yotsuya Miko?
First, she was playing dumb.
Second, split personality.
What kind of person was Tozuka? He immediately broke into a more eager smile.
"My apologies, that was my mistake."
"Your family has already moved in, right? I'll bring my family in for a visit later; I hope it won't be a bother."
Miko waved her hand, feeling a bit overwhelmed. She still wasn't used to a man in his forties constantly bowing to her:
"It's fine, no trouble at all."
After the pleasantries, Tozuka got down to business.
"By the way, Miss Miko, regarding this building..."
"Could I invite you to sit at our home later?"
Miko wasn't a fool. She glanced around and naturally saw several cursed spirits, some of which were 4th Grade.
Most were 4th Grade.
She didn't see any 2nd Grade ones.
"I'll be intruding, then. There are quite a lot of people here."
The pool and gym were both on the first floor, so many people were exercising and swimming at the moment.
Especially in the pool, where there were many children.
Tozuka's eyes lit up, and he immediately made a gesture of invitation.
"Understood. I'll have the common areas cordoned off later to facilitate your work."
As they stepped into the elevator, Tsukahara looked Miko up and down.
Today, Miko was wearing a white short skirt and a white off-the-shoulder short-sleeved top. Combined with her long black hair and golden eyes, she looked like an earthly elf.
Even a rich scion like Tsukahara couldn't help but have some thoughts.
He didn't have a strong memory of being rescued; he only vaguely remembered seeing Miko's face.
At this moment, his heart fluttered inexplicably.
"Miss Miko, do you have a boyfriend?"
The atmosphere in the elevator stiffened.
Miko's brow furrowed slightly. Before she could speak, Tozuka suddenly delivered a harsh slap.
*Smack!*
"Baka!"
"Is this how I taught you? You must show nothing but respect to Miss Miko. If you dare have any other intentions, get out of this house!"
Tsukahara looked dazed, then turned to his mother with a look of grievance.
But his mother, who usually favored him the most, was now whispering something to Miko.
Letting out a laugh from time to time.
Just as Akuto had guessed, the Tozuka home was right above Miko's new home, on the 13th floor.
Stepping inside, the Tozuka home's decor was more traditional.
It had more of the flavor of old Japanese architecture.
There were no sofas, only futons and tea tables.
"May I look around?"
"Please, feel free."
Tozuka accompanied her personally. When they entered the Washitsu specifically for tea, Miko's pupils constricted slightly.
"Mr. Tozuka, please step back. I might break some things."
Tozuka's face turned pale at this. He quickly retreated outside the Washitsu and looked inside with his wife and son.
At this moment, visible blue flames appeared on Miko's fists. She threw a fierce straight punch toward a corner, followed by a side hook!
*Bang! Bang!*
Blue flames splattered; she had clearly hit something in the air.
Then Miko gracefully dodged to the side, stepped forward as if grabbing something, and smashed her fist down hard on the ground!
*Boom!*
Masonry shattered.
Miko had punched a deep, bowl-sized hole into the floor.
Then Miko stood up as if nothing had happened and bowed slightly.
"It's done. I'll take my leave now."
Tozuka stared at the deep hole in the floor, dumbfounded. Even though he couldn't see it, he was certain Miko had definitely hit something just now.
Muscle movement cannot be faked.
When a fist hits an object, there's a recoil force; Tozuka had seen it clearly.
The thought of having lived with a cursed spirit for so long made Tozuka shiver.
At the same time, he gave himself a mental thumbs-up for the idea of inviting Miko's family over.
"Al... alright. I'll have the butler inform you later."
Miko left, while Mrs. Yotsuya and Tsukahara remained like wooden statues, staring at the deep hole in the floor.
"Is... is this something a human can do?"
*Smack!*
Returning, Tozuka didn't hesitate to give his son another slap, disappointed that he failed to live up to expectations.
"I spent tens of billions to invite her here. You'd better put away your little schemes! Show her respect, do you understand?"
Tsukahara nodded stiffly.
Over an hour later.
The butler notified everyone door-to-door, eventually arriving at Miko's house.
"We are very sorry, but the building is being pest-controlled today, and some chemicals may be sprayed. Please be sure to close your doors and windows tightly."
"The common area floors will be temporarily closed. Thank you for your understanding."
Not long after the butler left, the Tozuka family arrived at the door with gifts.
"Miss Miko, everything is ready."
Tozuka even considered that Touko might be worried about Miko going out, so he brought his wife along to accompany them.
The gifts they brought were extremely valuable.
One can only say that no one who reaches Tozuka's level is simple.
