Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Advantages of the Orphan Opening

"Reward acquired – Perception Ninjutsu."

"First time completing a teaching session, reward acquired – Appraisal Technique."

"First time completing an A-rated teaching session, reward acquired – Fire Release Chakra Nature Transformation Mastery."

Receiving three rewards at once surprised Muzuki a little. He felt a sudden influx of memories in his mind, most of which were related to the practice of Fire Release Chakra Nature Transformation.

The memories were so real that Muzuki had the illusion of being an old Ninja who had specialized in Fire Release for his entire life.

"Habsheng Sensei, may I ask you a question?" Shisui asked respectfully.

Hearing Shisui's words, Muzuki, who was about to check his panel evaluation again, paused. He led Shisui to the back of the deserted teaching building, then used Perception Ninjutsu to sense the area. There were no particularly strong Chakra signatures.

Muzuki relaxed and smiled, "Did you not understand some of the content from class? Go ahead and ask."

Shisui shook his head and said, "It's not about the lecture content, but I have a question."

"Sensei, as you know, the Senju Clan and the Uchiha Clan jointly founded Konoha, but why is it that now everyone only remembers the Senju Clan and rarely mentions the Uchiha's contributions?"

Although he was just a child, Shisui was exceptionally mature and sensitive. When he went out with elders, he could notice the strange looks from pedestrians on the street when they saw the clan crest on their backs.

They were both founders of the village, so why was it that the Uchiha's contributions were not only unmentioned, but they even seemed to be disliked by the villagers? Shisui didn't quite understand.

Looking at the puzzled Shisui, Muzuki secretly complained in his heart, "What kind of reputation does Senju Hashirama have in Konoha, and what kind of reputation does Uchiha Madara have in Konoha? Can they even be compared?"

"You've probably only read some of your clan's history, haven't you?" Muzuki asked.

Shisui nodded. The history he could access right now was only what the Uchiha provided.

"The reason it has become like this is because many things have happened, and it's difficult to explain clearly in a short amount of time," Muzuki said with a hint of difficulty.

Seeing Muzuki's slight hesitation, Shisui felt guilty internally. It seemed this question was more complex than he had imagined. He was about to say never mind, but Muzuki spoke again.

"Forget it. If you have time after school from now on, come find me, and I'll tell you about that history," Muzuki sighed.

"After all, I owe your Uchiha Clan a debt of gratitude. Consider it repayment."

Shisui was a bit confused as to why Muzuki would owe the Uchiha a favor, so he asked directly.

"My parents were surrounded by enemies in a war and were saved by a Ninja named Uchiha Kagami. Although they eventually died in a later war, I've always remembered that life-saving kindness," Muzuki said, feigning gratitude.

He was thankful at this moment that his original body had long been an orphan, otherwise, his room for improvisation would have been much smaller.

It must be admitted that sometimes dead people are more useful than living ones.

Shisui's eyes widened, and an expression of disbelief appeared on his face. Uchiha Kagami was his grandfather, and he hadn't expected such a connection between himself and Muzuki. He felt a very strange sensation.

However, Shisui was not the type to demand repayment for a favor, so he didn't make a fuss, merely thanking Muzuki.

Before Shisui left, Muzuki used Appraisal Technique on Shisui.

"Name: Uchiha Shisui"

"Chakra: 500"

"Potential: SS-"

"Evaluation: Six Paths bloodline, suitable for Fire Release and Genjutsu. Extremely high potential, recommended for apprenticeship."

Muzuki walked towards the office, lamenting that Shisui was indeed a formidable individual capable of activating Susanoo with a single eye. The two sparkling S's were too dazzling, and even the system recommended taking him as a disciple.

Muzuki casually opened his own panel to see if the evaluation had changed.

"Name: Hayate Mugetsu"

"Age: 18"

"Chakra: 4300"

"Evaluation: Proficient in Fire Release Chakra Nature Transformation. Your limited Chakra is restricting your strength. If you can compensate for this weakness, you are worthy of being called an elite among Jonin."

"It seems that Fire Release Nature Transformation Mastery is even stronger than I imagined," Muzuki felt that he might have underestimated the value of those two words, "Mastery."

He had originally thought it might only be equivalent to a Jonin's Nature Transformation knowledge, but now it seemed that in terms of Fire Release Chakra Nature Transformation alone, he might already be at the Third Hokage's level.

After all, he was someone who only knew two Fire Release Ninjutsu, Body Flicker Technique, Three Body Technique, and some basic Taijutsu. With this level, after receiving the reward, and increasing his Chakra, he could reach the level of an elite Jonin.

An elite Jonin, at the very least, would be at the level of Kakashi and Asuma at the beginning of the story.

Muzuki was initially very happy about his significant increase in strength, but then he remembered his identity as a Root Ninja, and his happiness faded.

First, the Root curse mark on him made him feel very insecure. Second, Danzo, that old geezer, liked to send his subordinates to their deaths, which made him feel even more insecure.

"I need to quickly take on some disciples and improve my strength as soon as possible. Even if I can't reach the level of killing Danzo and leaving freely, I need to have the ability to protect myself," Muzuki set a short-term goal for himself.

Muzuki walked into the office and found three other teachers sitting there, two men and one woman, complaining about their students to each other.

Muzuki knew all of them because teachers arrived early, and his original body had visited the school before and met his colleagues.

Muzuki casually used Appraisal Technique on each of them.

"Name: Ikeya Yu"

"Chakra: 2000"

"Potential: C"

"Evaluation: A Chunin cannon fodder."

The data for the three teachers were similar; all were appraised as cannon fodder by the system.

"Sigh, I'm really unlucky. Why did Class 2, Grade 4 fall into my hands? I was already teaching Class 1, Grade 3.

How am I supposed to teach them? Might Guy and Uchiha Obito, the two dead-last students, are both in Class 2, Grade 4," Ikeya Yu spread his hands helplessly.

"My family also arranged a blind date for me to meet someone tomorrow afternoon, and that afternoon happens to be when I have Class 2, Grade 4."

"Find a teacher who doesn't have class to help out, or just take the day off. The blind date is more important," Ueda Aya suggested.

Just then, Ueda Aya noticed Muzuki entering and greeted him with a smile, "Habsheng Sensei, how was your first class? Were the little tips I taught you useful?"

Muzuki recalled that this enthusiastic female teacher had previously worried that he, as a new teacher, would be nervous on his first day, and told him to silently repeat "all are radishes and cabbages" in his mind while lecturing.

Muzuki politely replied, "Thank you, the little tips were very useful, but after class, the students all advised me not to be picky eaters."

"Haha, Habsheng Sensei, you're really interesting," Ueda Aya chuckled, thinking that since Muzuki was still in the mood to joke, he must have had a comfortable first class.

"Ikegaya Sensei, I don't have class tomorrow afternoon. If you need it, I can cover for you," Muzuki placed his lesson plan on the desk and asked in a kind, helpful manner.

Unlike other teachers, Muzuki wished he had a full schedule every day. And with Obito and Might Guy in Class 2, Grade 4, he definitely wanted to check it out.

Ikeya Yu's face lit up with joy, and he quickly thanked Muzuki, stating that he would definitely treat Muzuki to a meal when he had the chance.

...

Inside the Hokage Office, the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, looked at Muzuki, who was solemnly lecturing about The Will of Fire inside the crystal ball. He stroked his goatee, feeling that this young Root Ninja was quite good, someone who understood The Will of Fire.

Danzo thought he was well-hidden, but in reality, the Third Hokage already knew about some of the Ninja who were trained by Root but not on Root's official roster.

However, the Third Hokage felt that Danzo was, to some extent, also cultivating strength for Konoha, so it was acceptable as long as it wasn't too excessive.

But the Ninja Academy was something the Third Hokage valued highly, so he personally observed it. The unexpected result was that this Root Ninja's very first class was about The Will of Fire, instilling a sense of responsibility in the students, which the Third Hokage found very good.

"Let's see his future performance. If he's a talent, I'll let him leave Root."

Muzuki's current performance alone was not enough for the Third Hokage to demand him from Danzo.

Although, in essence, Danzo's subordinates were also his, he still had to consider his old classmate's feelings.

Thinking this, the Third Hokage stopped his Telescope Jutsu and began to process documents, planning to inspect Konoha again in the evening.

...

After eating, Shisui began searching for Muzuki's residence according to the location Muzuki had given him.

Muzuki's residence was in the sparsely built southeastern part of Konoha, considered a remote area of Konoha, far from the Main urban area.

Thanks to the scarcity of buildings there, Shisui quickly found Muzuki's house, a single-story wooden house situated in a simple yard.

As soon as Shisui entered the yard, he saw a scene that left him dumbfounded and deeply shaken.
