Synopsis
"Cass! Goddess, guide me. Cassidy!" The growl of Stephan's wolf, Issac calling for me, sent an icy chill up my spine. Scaring me awake. I quickly glanced around my room to make sure he wasn't actually in there with me. Despite the gnawing feeling in my chest to run, I knew I needed to wait. Nothing was out of place, but there was something in the air that spoke of blood. It clung to every hair on my arms and legs. Uncertainty had me crawling out of my bed on instinct and crouching as low as my body would let me without shifting. "Cassidy Silvermoon! Come out!" Hearing Issac yell my name again sent the hairs on the back of my neck up at attention. The attempt to put Alpha's power to use in calling me out made me smirk. He knew it wouldnt work.

Chapter 1 - Alyssia

Alyssia was only 16 when she was kicked from her pack they believed her powerless and wolfless.

Alexander, the alpha of Silverwind found her. She was curled in on herself on the forest floor. He could hear her slow heartbeat, the smell of a person who lost all hope. Mud and dirt covered her face, legs and her back. Her hair was colored such a dark mud color due to everything that was matted into it.

A soft whimper brought him out of his observing thoughts, he looked down at Alyssia for a few more moments before he carefully crouched down and put his arms under her, so he could lift her close to his chest in a cradle carry. He felt her grab onto his shirt, like a child would if they were afraid…

"Dad… why…?" She muttered so softly that he wasn't sure he truly heard her. Or if it was a figment of his imagination.

He knew bringing a rouge back was going to cause problems, it wouldn't go well with a few people.. but he didn't care.

There was something about this young pup.

Who is she? Why was she cast out? Or did she run away? Is she really packless?

And the final question - who dumped her on his land?

Alexander shook his head, letting out a huff of air.

"It's time to go home."

He held the young woman close to his chest as he started walking back to his home.

Questions swirling in his mind, his wolf Issac, was quietly watching. He didn't trust this.

This smells like a trap. Are you sure about bringing her?

Alexander smiled, tilting his head to the side as he thought about the answer as he kept walking.

"No, but I'm the Alpha. What I say goes. They'll learn that again, if they have to."
