Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 Are you a wizard, a mage or an alchemist?

"...Eh...?!"

Harry was a little bewildered.

Howl picked up the flower that had fallen to the ground and examined it carefully. The moonlight within it had already completely dissipated; now, the flower was nothing more than an empty shell, utterly useless.

Fortunately, although most of the Moon Spirit Flowers had been heavily damaged, some lucky ones still remained.

Just consider it pruning, I guess...

He could only console himself in this way.

At the same time, he also turned his gaze to the little boy in front of him: a messy head of long black hair, broken glasses, green pupils, and the lightning-shaped scar on his forehead.

And most importantly, the method this kid had just used.

There was magic within his body.

This was the second time he had encountered someone with magic in this world. The first time, those guys were completely unreasonable, claiming to be from the Ministry of Magic, and immediately demanded to arrest and take him away. The two sides fought directly on Big Ben.

Ministry of Magic... Lightning scar...

So familiar. No matter how he looked at it, it felt incredibly familiar, but he just couldn't recall where from.

Then, Howl's gaze fell upon the little boy in front of him, the only other caster he had encountered in this world.

Perhaps, he could find a way to break the deadlock here.

Thinking this, he opened his mouth and asked, "Kid, what school of caster are you? A Wizard? A Mage? Or an Alchemist?"

"Huh?"

Harry let out a confused sound.

Howl looked at the boy's reaction and was also a bit bewildered. Could it be that this child didn't know the source of his power?

A caster living in an ordinary world, growing up immersed in a normal worldview?

"What's your name?" Howl asked.

"My name is Harry Potter, and I live at Number Four, Privet Drive, diagonally across from your house, sir."

Harry Potter?!

A thunderclap suddenly sounded in Howl's mind, and in an instant, all his memories connected.

So, it was the world of Harry Potter.

Unfortunately, he hadn't watched this movie much in his previous life, only understanding the general plot from various sources. And after so many years, he had long forgotten everything.

If it weren't for this name being so iconic, he wouldn't have remembered it.

However, when his memories connected, he did recall quite a few things, such as the simplest one: Harry was an orphan.

Thinking of it this way, everything made sense.

Howl shook his head helplessly, then stood up and returned inside the house.

Harry looked at the man's back, still feeling a bit dazed.

That's it... It's over?!

Seeing the man return home, leaving him alone outside, Harry suddenly felt unsure whether to leave or stay.

Thinking, his peripheral vision caught Dudley standing at the street corner, trying to stay far away, wanting to see if anything interesting was happening over here.

Immediately, Harry quickly crouched down...

On the other side, Howl returned inside. The house had a small entrance hall, with various sundries piled together. On a tall stone table nearby, countless books were stacked, forming a small mountain, with curtains caught in between them.

Outside the open window was a high mountain meadow. The wind swept across the green lawn, creating ripples.

Clearly, the world outside the window and the world outside the door were completely different matters.

In the fireplace, red flames burned slowly. In front of the fireplace, there was an old red leather sofa, slightly sunken in the middle, indicating that someone often spent time there.

"What happened?" A hoarse yet somewhat childish voice came. The flames in the fireplace gradually boiled, and eyes and a mouth actually appeared.

"A few clumps of Moon Spirit Flowers were damaged by some kid from who knows where," Howl said lazily. After speaking, he retorted, "Where are we now?"

"Let me see." The small fire entity extended two hands, picked up a map nearby, and looked at it. After a long while, he said, "Finland, northern Scandinavian Mountains."

"Someone destroyed your Moon Spirit Flowers, aren't you going to kill him?" The little fire entity said.

"Lucifer, why are you always talking about killing? Can't you be a bit more peaceful like me?" Howl said helplessly.

"When are you ever peaceful? Besides, I, Lucifer, am a demon!!" Lucifer's features suddenly became ferocious, and huge flames erupted from his body, burning fiercely.

"Alright, alright, quickly find an uninhabited place to stop the Castle, then I'll go transplant the Moon Spirit Flowers." Howl waved his hand, clearly not caring about this fellow's performance.

Saying that, he picked up a shovel and walked out of the house again.

"Hmm?"

Howl was a little surprised. Harry hadn't left yet? What was he doing staying here? Trying to freeload a meal?

If you don't want to leave...

He threw the shovel on the ground and said unceremoniously, "Kid, dig up the flowers."

"Ah?!" Harry looked at the shovel on the ground, then at Howl, but his hand unconsciously picked up the shovel.

"What 'ah'? Moon Spirit Flowers are so precious, of course they need to be transplanted. Do I have to wait until you destroy all of them?" Howl said indifferently.

"Hurry up and get to work. Consider it atonement. Otherwise, I'll go tell your family." Howl pretended to be serious.

As soon as his family was mentioned, Harry immediately perked up. He didn't want the Dursleys family to know what happened today, because no matter who was right or wrong in this matter, it would always be his fault.

"Okay... Okay." Harry quickly got up, patted his clothes, and began to work.

Beside him, Howl glanced at him twice and then paid no more attention. The Moon Spirit Flower's root system was very strong, so he wasn't worried at all about its survival rate after transplanting. The preciousness of this item lay in the purified moonlight accumulated within its flowers.

Stretching, his peripheral vision suddenly noticed two little rascals rustling by the roadside.

One was tall and thin, like a big monkey. The other was tall and fat, perfectly matching the bad cousin of Harry from his memories.

By the way, what were they giggling about over here?

Howl looked back at Harry, then pointed at the two boys: "Kid, were those two the ones who threw you into my flowerbed?"

Harry looked over and saw the two of them. Not knowing what to do, he could only nod helplessly.

"What energetic children they are," Howl said involuntarily.

Energetic?!

Harry looked at Howl in surprise.

Howl nodded, especially that fellow named Dudley; his fat reminded him of Poluk.

That guy who was clearly short, fat, and had a pig nose.

Yet, he was still a ladies' man.

However, Dudley clearly didn't have the temperament of the Crimson Pig; only in terms of physique were the two similar.

Speaking of which, the reason the Crimson Pig turned into a pig was because he was subjected to the Curse of that world.

And he... actually suffered the same Curse.

Just thinking about it made him a little angry.

Thinking this, Howl's finger tapped lightly. Harry was drawn by the sound, and whether it was his illusion or not, he seemed to see a flash of light from a ring on Howl's hand.

Woof woof woof—!!!

A large Doberman, from who knows where, suddenly ran out from the street and charged at Dudley upon seeing him.

"Hey! Damn it, what the hell is this? Why is it chasing me?!" Dudley was instantly scared and quickly dodged, no longer in the mood to giggle foolishly on the side.

Meow—!!

On an oak tree by the road, a tabby wildcat suddenly pounced from a branch and scratched Dudley's face.

"Ah, no, my face, my face!!"

Woof woof—

Another stray dog darted out from the street corner...

"Mom, Mom!!! Someone, anyone, come save me!!" Dudley yelled as he ran towards his home.

Seeing this, Harry couldn't help but burst into laughter, not bothering to hide it. He hadn't been this happy in a long time. Although he didn't know why these stray cats and dogs were chasing Dudley, he didn't care. As long as Dudley was in trouble, he was happy.

Piers on the other side wasn't doing much better; he was also being chased by one stray dog and two wildcats, and in a blink of an eye, he disappeared from sight.
