Seeing the white beast collapse, Nina immediately ran over. Her mates, Lani, and the others quickly gathered around as well.
"What happened to it?" Lani asked with concern. "Is it alright?"
Nina crouched beside the tiny creature and channeled her ability into its body to examine its condition.
A frown slowly formed on her face.
"It appears to be severely injured, but something feels strange. My healing ability can't seem to affect the damage at all."
Keil studied the beast thoughtfully.
"If I'm not mistaken, this may be the result of backlash."
He knelt beside them and examined the creature more closely.
"Injuries caused by backlash usually can't be healed through ordinary healing abilities."
Nina glanced at the others.
"Grandfather, Father, Odian, do any of you know what kind of beast this is?"
Odian narrowed his eyes as he observed the creature.
