The God Realm.
The Sun God was playing chess with the Purple Moon Goddess. As usual, he was on the losing side.
"I sensed your consciousness descending on my way here. Did something happen?" The Sun God placed a piece on the board.
"A War God has been born." The goddess responded, placing her piece across from his.
"Oh? Is it from the Divine or the Human Clan?" The Sun God massaged his temples, already realizing his pieces were surrounded.
"I didn't see." The goddess replied with the same gentle smile.
"That's unusual. You're usually not interested in gods who break through. Are you worried this new god might rival you?"
"I'm certain you're the only one who still entertains such childish thoughts." The Great Goddess placed her piece elegantly, exuding authority and quiet confidence.
"Ah, never mind. I give up. I can't beat you."
