With a quiet gesture, Hayleen led Luuk away, leaving Owen, Emmeline, and the five Eternals behind—still seated on the floor, utterly bewildered.
"Emy, you can go back."
"But there are five of them, and you're alone."
Owen beamed. "Are you worried about me?"
Emmeline rolled her eyes, too lazy to respond. "Just do what you need to do."
"Don't worry. They won't dare act recklessly in a place filled with immortals and Demon Lords. Besides, the seals restraining their powers were just lifted—they'll need time to recover. Go ahead and eat first. You haven't eaten since returning from the Demon Land."
Emmeline still wanted to stay with him—but how could she possibly say that? In the end, she turned and left, complying with his request.
